[00:00:12] Speaker A: Gets hit. [00:00:12] Speaker B: Kimmy kids a little too far here. He's gonna have to try and get himself out. Living O Tillery and the rest of the shots of fire. Zion is just killing the next Zion can eat single handedly win the game by game by game by game by [00:00:26] Speaker A: should be. [00:00:27] Speaker B: Oh my God. Stupid. Marches through and manages to the table with Messiah tanking it up. I do not believe he just believe. I cannot understand this game. Unicorns of love. It wasn't a mutant. They're Nexus. Hello and welcome to episode 620 of the League Rundown. That's right, 620. Because we had to change our naming convention due to our joke episode 617.5 that went out earlier. Just, you know, we'll count that as an official episode now. So for anybody confused saying where was 619? Don't worry, you're not crazy. We're just skipping ahead. This is going to be the week three review of LEC and lcs along with the week four preview. And it is lovingly entitled Somehow Dardoch Returned. I'm your host Kangas and I'm joined by two esteemed co hosts. Up first we have the myth, the man, the legend. Reverse that order. [00:01:41] Speaker C: But we got and the big bickle pickle. [00:01:43] Speaker B: How's it going? [00:01:44] Speaker A: I'm doing all right. It's been a day. But maybe you are crazy. Maybe this isn't 620. Maybe it is 619. Who knows? Nobody ever knows. [00:01:52] Speaker C: Oh, oh, nobody knows. [00:01:54] Speaker B: Nobody knows. Well, I guess Ian knows. He's the one that was like, you gotta change the name. [00:01:58] Speaker A: Yeah. Web hosting. Because we have to upload them jokes. [00:02:02] Speaker B: Yeah, it was worth it. They don't like jokes. It was 100 worth it bringing Duffy back for an episode. But we also have joining us this week all the way from London with his lack of AC and heat wave hitting him. Jamata, how's it going? [00:02:15] Speaker C: It's sweaty. But I love League of Legends more than I love my own comfort. So here I am. [00:02:21] Speaker B: Oh, beautiful. I love a man who will put his body through hell for League of Legends. That's. That's a mark of a true pundit right there. Can we call you our pundit or European pundit? [00:02:31] Speaker C: I do need to show up a little bit more regularly I think to properly earn the title. But yeah, you know, I'll claim it if you're handing it out. I'm gonna say no. [00:02:38] Speaker B: No, we, we get check ins. That. That's perfect. I. I know we had a. You guys. Sam, who actually Joined us for the fun episode as well. But he. Bickle, do you remember what we called him? It was our EU correspondent. Right? Yeah. So we had our EU correspondent. Now we have our EU pundit. This is perfect. We're getting more and more official as the weeks go on. We're going to talk in LCS this past weekend as well as some of the news that broke this past week. We'll start with that. Up first, Team Liquid over in the LCS have extended Morgan's contract all the way to 2028. So the top laner is here to stay. He's looked pretty good with the team. They're looking solid as a team. Bickle, what are your first thoughts when you hear Morgan extended? [00:03:21] Speaker A: I mean, they've been consistently the second best team in the LCS basically this entire year. So if they think it'll work and your synergy is only going to improve with more time, there's no reason not to. Morgan's been doing great. He's been the second best top laner in the league this season. Question mark, I think. [00:03:42] Speaker B: Yeah, I mean, I think most people would have. Dokla, is that. Is that who you have, number one or Thanatos? Because I feel like, okay, I think Thanatos is not carrying the team as well as he has. [00:03:54] Speaker A: Yeah, it's been a rough summer so far for Cloud9 in general despite their record. [00:04:02] Speaker B: But I think I, I definitely agree Morgan's at the very least top three form. [00:04:05] Speaker A: Oh, absolutely. [00:04:07] Speaker B: Right now I know. I don't know confidently where I'd put him currently. I actually haven't gotten to cast Team Liquid yet. I don't think this split. So most of my footage from them has just been watching. Sometimes I struggle to have like really strong opinions on players performances unless I get to cast some of their gameplay. But no, definitely passing the eye test so far. Jamada, do you have strong thoughts or opinions? [00:04:31] Speaker C: Morgan's extension makes sense, right? He's. He's really settled into the role at tl and in general TL I think are just settling into themselves overall, like by identity. I think since msi, it's been really clear just how much they've improved and Morgan's been at, you know, I think the silent forefront of that. There's always a lot of talk about Cor and Yon, especially obviously Jose. This year has been probably the. The biggest surprise. But Morgan's been pretty consistent throughout the year. So I'm pretty happy with the fact that they've extended on Morgan. [00:05:02] Speaker B: Agreed. Other things happening around the Horn though we got over in lpl, BLG have been having some top lane woes so far this year. The big story that some of our LPL guys have been talking about is Bin being benched from the team and then the team still, you know, having success even without him kind of really letting Knight be a more primary carry. And now it looks like BLG have now officially actually picked up a new top laner to replace Benjamada. What are your thoughts on old Flandre? [00:05:36] Speaker C: You know what, I, I'll get this out of the way first. I was quite surprised that Al benched him. I, I was. You know, I think Ayo had a lot of issues, you know, going into the MSI period, UWC period. And I never really attributed Flandre to many of them. [00:05:54] Speaker B: Right. [00:05:55] Speaker C: And so the fact that he was kind of scapegoated was, and I use that word quite intentionally, I, I think bigger criminals on that lineup than Flandre and the fact he was free for, you know, the situation of BLG dealing with whatever they're dealing with with Bin or been dealing with, whatever he's dealing with personally just lines up perfectly. And I say that's purely because he's the guy that will just sit back and do his job. Whatever his role is, give him any champion, he will play it. You know, he made his name on carry champs and then I think more over the last couple of years has been known as the weak side guy. And when your other solo laner is Knight and your AD carry is Viper as a top laner, that's, that's, that's heaven. So it's a perfect move. [00:06:39] Speaker B: You don't need to do that much hard carrying. [00:06:42] Speaker C: And it can be asked of him too, if he needs to carry, you need to get him on like a hardcore counter match up. You'll do it and you'll do it bloody well. [00:06:50] Speaker B: Yeah. I think a lot of the issues that we've been hearing from Ben, obviously, like there's the, the stories breaking of his like family yelling at [00:06:59] Speaker C: the other family. Legit. So much TV show sometimes. [00:07:03] Speaker A: Yeah, just grab the popcorn. [00:07:05] Speaker B: But the, the. Yep, yep. But the big thing for me is just it's another in a long line of examples of super teams where everybody on the roster is a carry just don't tend to work. Like Ben is a fantastic, if not the best top laner right now if you want a carry top laner. But if you want to carry top laner, you got to give the carry resources and that means that that's less resources to go around to the other incredible carries on blg. I'm excited for what this team can do with Flandre Bickle. Do you have any thoughts on Flandre or do you want to move on to the next little roster shake up over in the lck? [00:07:42] Speaker A: I'm interested to see how it worked out. I think there will be some growing pains. As shown this morning, they didn't end up winning their series, but it's definitely got a lot of potential. [00:07:53] Speaker B: Yep, a lot of potential. Speaking of teams that have maybe potential, maybe struggling in their series over an LCK, T1 made a very bold move. Every time T1 makes a roster move, it shakes up and kind of sends ripples through the other regions as everyone starts wondering, okay, what's going on? What's the internal reason? But they had a new jungler come in versus Hle Painter in his debut. Now, from my understanding, this is a rookie, right? Pickle? Has he had any stage time on LCK before? [00:08:28] Speaker A: Nope. [00:08:30] Speaker B: Okay, so true rookie debut. How'd it look and what are your thoughts on the change in general? [00:08:36] Speaker A: So this. So this kid's 18 years old, so definitely a lot of potential there. Game one against Hana Live, people were genuinely thinking, okay, there's a lot of good stuff there. Maybe there's a reason they're doing this. Owner might be in trouble. And then Games 2 and 3 happened and said, okay, owner, you'll. You'll be fine. He. He's still a bit rough around the edges. There's some growing pains, I think. I'm not sure they necessarily wanted to debut him against Hanwell Life, but I think a big reason for this is I don't know if there's going to be a permanent change coming this week. Friday and Sunday they play DK and Gen G. But that is T1 Homestead series where they are hosting DK and Gen G. So my guess is they want to have the full starting roster for that big promotional event for themselves. [00:09:36] Speaker B: Interesting. Okay, so a bit of timeline kind of dictated. [00:09:41] Speaker A: He's got some potential. There's still some kinks to work out. Interested to see where this goes in the future, but I'd expect that this is still owner's job. [00:09:53] Speaker B: Okay, do you concur, Jamada, and what are your thoughts in general of just the debut of a new rookie? [00:09:59] Speaker C: Obviously it was quite. It was quite a discussion point when it happened because it did seem very much out of left field. I will say I think owner's been quite inconsistent this year. I think he's been the worst player on T1. No. So in that regard I think the sub was quite surprising. But the more you look at it, I think it does make sense that it happened here. One Bickle brings up a great point. Obviously next week is T1's home stand. So you know, if you want to do a sub, don't do it at the home stand probably is always going to be the best thing. But when you look at the format and the remaining games, remember the LCK rounds three and four happen over the course of four weeks. And so the only actual sensible time to do it was versus Hle purely because the games that you want to win comically aren't against even inherently Hardmore or Gen G because you don't necessarily care too much about finishing. You know, first. Second though it's nice to skip round one. You just need to finish in the top four so you're not in like the weird mixer where you have to play versus the lower end teams. So to that end playing versus Hamar was fine. Painter playing playing versus Hamar was fine. And as long as they actually beat DK and in week four they end up being kt, they're locked in the top four anyway. So that's the first thing. Second thing, I think Painter looked alright and I think in games two and three, especially like game one he played really well. But then game two, I think that was just a very big draft issue where it's like I don't know how you play Lee Sin in that game and make things happen when you don't really have good priority to play around consistently with the exception of Bot Lane and that was the only thing they could have done. And then game three, yeah, like the Dragon call was a bit psychotic. The first Dragon core, I someone else should have said something about that. And then from that point Peyton doesn't really get to play the game so it's hard to really judge him. So I'd say it looked good until it didn't. Basically with Bayna, owner doesn't have to worry about his job though. I think he's. He's pretty job secure right now. [00:12:02] Speaker B: Okay. All right. Well, hey, again, it's always exciting when T1 makes a change because everyone has a strong opinion on it. I didn't get to watch the game so I'm going into that. That one. This conversation very blind but it sounds like yeah, a promising game one debut and then showing some of that rookie weaknesses for games 2 and 3. Expecting owner back soon here but Cool to see at least T1 showing that they still have a very deep pool of talent. Other topics there's one other big thing that happened just very recently actually it's a leak. So take it or leave it if you believe it's true or not. But it was apparently leaked from Sheep Esports that the hall of Legends inductee for this coming year will in fact not be an LPL representative or an LCK representative. It will not be anybody who has won Worlds. But they did win an msi. It's Caps over in the Leck. And that will also come with a special skin which will help fund the global revenue pool for all teams around the world. And the champion that he chose for the skin was Tristana. Again, this is the Sheep Esports article kind of leaking this news. I don't know when an official statement will be made about it or when public will know for sure who actually is winning. But if. If we're just assuming that it's true. I want to get everyone's thoughts on Caps being the next inductee into the hall of Legends. Bickle, let's start with you. Just general thoughts. Is he deserving of this? Are you happy about this? Do you think it's silly that like, this is now the second active player that is getting added? Just give me all of it. [00:13:47] Speaker A: So I think there's a couple parts to this that you kind of hit on. Caps is a deserving hall of Legends player. I think he is the greatest Western player of all time. However, I don't like active players going in with the exception of Faker, because you can't have a Hall of Legends without Faker. I really think this should be more of a alumni retirement post thing where it focuses on those players who have wrapped up with Faker, of course, being the obvious exception. Then there's the part about Tristana being the champion and I'm just confused there. But if Caps chose it as his champ, who am I to argue? [00:14:35] Speaker B: Yeah, it just doesn't scream like Champ he's known for. I feel like there's so many other better ones. But again, if. If that's his pick, that's his [00:14:44] Speaker A: moment that I'm forgetting. [00:14:46] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, he's. He's probably the best European Tristana ever. Besides, effectively maybe reckless. And I. I'll be honest, I think Caps was maybe better on it than Rekkles was. And so, yeah, it's just one of those things where it's like, I think the. The other champion you could probably think of when you Think about Caps is Sylas. But thing is you can. [00:15:15] Speaker A: Yep. [00:15:15] Speaker C: You can think about a lot of other elite level players that play mid. When you think Sylas, right, like you very easily think Faker. You very, very easily think Chovy. Zeka obviously is like the Melee guy. So any of those kind of archetype of champs, you know, Zeka's name pops to mind. And so I think people just kind of forget like there was that year, I mean, hell, there was obviously. I think 2024 was the. The mid Lane Tristana year in general. But there have been times before where obviously he played AD as well. Don't forget on the like the proper G2 roster where him and Perkz were going between mid and bot. [00:15:51] Speaker A: I completely forget about that random time period where he was AD carry. Yeah. [00:15:54] Speaker C: Y. Couple months. [00:15:55] Speaker A: It throws me off. [00:15:56] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. So he's got that Tristan on him, man. And at the end of the day it was his choice, so it's his choice. For me, it just kills off any idea that this was ever intended to be a proper hall of fame. [00:16:09] Speaker A: Right. [00:16:10] Speaker C: Don't get me wrong, you know, like you guys have both touched on Caps deserves to be here. But this, it feels like it should have just been alumni. And to that end I'm thinking about, you know, either you go really far back and you like talk about the real OGs of the league, like you know, Xpeke, Alex Ich, those. Those kind of generation of players, or you come slightly more recently like I think a good shout for, you know, just as it would. It would feel right, would be like a player like Jankos obviously on the same G2 roster. Right. But he's actually retired. Then you also hit jungle, right, because obviously you've done mid, you've done ad. Then you get to hit a different role at the same time if you're doing it. Which year to year I think is kind of silly, but I digress. Or one a year rather. I think it's kind of silly, but I digress. [00:17:02] Speaker A: I think that's a big issue regarding this is the once a year part of it. [00:17:08] Speaker C: Exactly. It's. It's not ideal for. For sure. But yeah, I think Caps again, like he hits all of the criteria. It's just that Riot never really made it clear about is this supposed to be for retired players? Is this like was Faker the one off? Because like he's faker and you can't do something like this about him being the first guy because, you know, like when. When Faker retires and it will eventually happen. Like League of Legends will be a different esport. That is just the bottom that. [00:17:38] Speaker B: That's gonna be crazy impactful. But I think you could say the same thing for regionally. The other two representatives like Caps and when he retires, EU will fundamentally change. And when Uzi retired, LPL did fundamentally change. Like that was a whole new generation that then could step up. So I. I like it in terms of now what in my mind the award has become, which is just, you know, the most impactful player from the region. [00:18:07] Speaker C: I think it. [00:18:08] Speaker B: That's essentially what it has. [00:18:09] Speaker C: I think it has to try and have a slightly different naming conventional feel to it then because it is just a little bit too close to like traditional hall of Fames, which usually house alumni or players very close to the end of their career who were obviously legends during their. Their peaks. So, yeah, that's. That's my issue. Much like with many other people, it's. It's just the fact that Caps deserves to be there, but it's like Caps isn't really showing any signs of retiring anytime soon, so. And obviously he's an active player, so it's a bit odd. Oh, and one last thing, that all of the other legendary players that you'd think about putting in the hall of Fame or the. The hall of Legend, sorry, from more recent years are actually just still active players, which is kind of a bit of an issue for them. Like, you think Deft Ruler, Rookie Viper [00:19:03] Speaker B: Mako Shao, I guess that's less of [00:19:06] Speaker C: these guys are still active plays right now that all deserve to be in the hall of Legends, but they are still on teams. So. [00:19:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, that's. That's very interesting to think of all the other potential ways that Riot could have handled this. Again, I. I tend to kind of let things roll off like. Like water under a bridge, you know, just not really buying too much into it because like the concept of a Hall of Fame for League of Legends, very exciting. When I first heard about it, Faker gets announced, I'm like, okay, that doesn't match my expectations of what this award should be, but he deserves it regardless. Then Uzi, I'm like, okay, I think we're back on board for what the. My idea of this thing is going to be. And now that they've announced Caps, I'm like, okay, it's just not that it's not a Hall of Fame. In my mind, this doesn't count as a Hall of Fame anymore, so I'm just considering it something its own unique thing. And once that switch in my brain happened, I was like, all right, caps is cool. I'm actually cool with this. I have no issue with this because I wasn't like a super gun ho. It has to be a hall of fame, and I'm gonna be pissed if it's not. If it was gonna be that, yes, they should have inducted, like five people a year and have the one big title, one that gets the skin. But then the other four kind of like maybe like world skins almost. You have the one transcendent one, but then like the other ones get something. Something fun in there. But the fact that we don't have Insec or Mata or expect a or like any of these legendary people, I don't think we're ever going to get there because we're only doing one a year. We're never going to have time to get to those because next year it probably will be somebody like a bin or something along those lines. Actually, I just. [00:20:48] Speaker C: I just realized Achovi named Deft as one of theft has not been played. [00:20:52] Speaker A: I wasn't going to call it. [00:20:53] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, no, you're right. It's like. But that's in my head. He's so synonymous of just, like, being active. But, like, Deft would be a prime candidate to. To give it. [00:21:02] Speaker B: Yeah, he would have been perfect. [00:21:03] Speaker C: Perfect. [00:21:05] Speaker B: I still wanted it to be something like Mata for this past. Like this next coming on or insect. Insect would have been sick. We get a jungler and you can just show. [00:21:16] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:21:16] Speaker B: This guy reinvented what mechanics look like for junglers in League of Legends. Like, oh, my God, he was so much better than mechanically than other. [00:21:25] Speaker A: Going with an older player would have fit really well, especially with the current resurgence of league classic around this time. [00:21:32] Speaker B: Exact go like, hey, fitting with all [00:21:34] Speaker A: the classic show matches with league classics release, here's a classic player going into the hall of Legends. [00:21:42] Speaker B: Yeah. So again, it's all ifs could be buts, all these, like, hypotheticals. I at this point have just accepted the hall of Legends is its own unique little thing. And that's what we get for league esports. I think it's still cool for what it is. I understand people that are upset that it's not what they wanted it to be. I'm not trying to take that away, but I've already. I very quickly came to terms when I saw the leak of like. Again, this is all assuming it is true and that it's not something different and that it's not old information that has been received by Sheep Esports. But if we're assuming it's true, I was. I very quickly flipped the switch in my head of, all right, cool. It's not a hall of fame. It's. It's something different. And it's still cool for what it is. I think that's my very riot friendly take. There we go. I'm being a good caster. Did we miss anything else? That's all the news that I had. Jamada. Were there any big other news pieces that are on your brain that we haven't talked about? [00:22:43] Speaker C: No, I'd like that. That would have happened within the last week or so. I think that that covers it pretty well off the top of my head. Yeah. [00:22:52] Speaker A: Cool. [00:22:53] Speaker B: Well, if anybody listening is like, wait a minute, there's this one thing that they didn't talk about, let us know in the community, Discord. We can't always have every piece of information in front of us. We do our best to share information when stuff comes up on social media, but we do sometimes miss things. So let us know if there was something that you wish we had talked about in the community, Discord. You can find a link to that in the description wherever you are listening to your podcast, as well as shout out to anybody who supports the podcast, either through our Patreon or through our Merch shop. Links to both of those are also in the description. Okay, that's it for news. Let's talk about the leagues as they played out this past weekend. We're gonna start in North America for the lcs. We had our week three in the past and week four to look forward to. I mean, in terms of expectations, I think this went about what I would think. The only difference being Sentinel's. Shopify Rebellion was like a match that I thought was gonna go Sentinel's way. I think Shopify definitely are showing that they have more upside. [00:23:58] Speaker C: Also. [00:23:58] Speaker B: I just didn't want to predict them because every time I do, it curses them. But before we get too into the weeds, Bickle, run me through the current standings from top to bottom in the lcs. Who's at the top? Who's at the bottom? [00:24:09] Speaker A: I don't think this will surprise many people when I say top of the league, tied for first three and oh, series score, six, zero, game score. We have the two teams that went to MSI and Lion and Team Liquid. [00:24:22] Speaker B: Let's go. MSI hangover. [00:24:24] Speaker A: Who? Yeah, basically, who needs a jungler? Third place tied is Cloud 9 and Shopify Rebellion, both at 2 and 1 in series score. Cloud 9 at 4 and 4 in game score, Shopify Rebellion 4 and 3 in game score, Fly Quest and Sentinels are tied at one and two in series at fifth. And Dignitas and Disguised, both at the bottom have picked up games but sit. Owen. Three in series score but Disguised pick [00:24:52] Speaker B: up their first game win this past weekend. And I think I actually have my thing wrong here. Yeah. So wait a minute. [00:25:03] Speaker A: Yeah, you've botched this a little. Let me fix this. [00:25:07] Speaker B: How did I. [00:25:08] Speaker A: What. [00:25:08] Speaker B: What did I do on our, on our sheet here for anybody at home? I just like I'm looking at the sheet that I created versus Leaguepedia. Okay. Everything's I think correct except for just the C9DS dig. Lion's not right. [00:25:23] Speaker C: Oh no. [00:25:23] Speaker B: What have I done? Oh, I think I just got those reversed then. Okay, cool. Thank you. Well, either way, Disguise was able to figure the first game win against of all teams C9 who have dropped a game now to both Dignitas and Disguise. The bottom two teams that have not picked up series wins yet. Little concerning for C9, but very exciting for DSG and I. They. They've shown that they have the ability to like get into positions where they have a lead or at least they're holding on. There's just always that moment in the DSG games where they had a gold lead where it just falls off a cliff. It's like, okay, they get up like 3k. Boom. The game ends five minutes later and they're at an insane deficit. And then that would be game one, Game two, they just get so smashed. This time around it was actually a very different story. And I was very proud of how Disguised look, but more so I'm concerned with how C and I look. I thought that this was going to be the 13 worlds. [00:26:26] Speaker A: In Cloud 9's defense, there is a thread that ties both their Dignitas loss to their disguised loss. And it's for the love of God, stop picking rice. [00:26:36] Speaker B: True. Oh my God. It's what 09, I believe believe he's almost a double digit losses for Loki. Yeah. Or not a good look. [00:26:47] Speaker A: Play rise. Just disable his R button genuinely. [00:26:51] Speaker B: Oh, true. [00:26:53] Speaker C: He did. [00:26:54] Speaker B: Yeah. He. He has been notorious for sending his teammates into pretty, pretty tough pickle situations. But also I think that the big story of the. Of the loss was Sturdy got vain counterpick into Thanatos blind pick Renekton and popped off. There was one kind of shakier moment where he gets picked and then they have to kind of back off from the fight. But that was Just one moment of the game, the rest of the game. I thought Serdian team fights actually was incredible and was kind of like the catalyst for winning. And then it's just sad. Game three they're like okay, you just had this awesome vein carry game. You're gonna blind pick k'. Sante. Now you back on tank duty. Have fun. And they get shut out. It's essentially just a C9 stomp. Jamada. [00:27:41] Speaker C: Do you. [00:27:41] Speaker B: Were you able to catch series at all? I don't know how much LCS you [00:27:43] Speaker C: were able to watch LCS series Kangas. [00:27:46] Speaker B: And that's a good co streamer right there. That's beautiful. [00:27:51] Speaker C: We can cast on this on this podcast, right? I was of course watching C9 play, bro. Oh my God. I like the first game obviously was a stomp. The second game, the. The problem with with them losing to a team like DSG is C9 this year. It feels like I've been a very confidence based team. I actually think they've come out and you know, verbally said that like whether it was Dom or Anira or maybe Apa, one of the. I feel like I've heard that directly from one of the mouths of the C9 players. And so losing a game like game two versus a team like DSG, I was very, very worried that they were going to go into game three draft horrendously, you know, give Seree another angle to like have a really solid like carry champ which is obviously what Serti is very known for in na. And they're just gonna do something really silly now. Thankfully I just think the quality of play players on DSG is just lower than C9 and that, that really got C9 across the line here. But it just makes me concerned for you know, this, this weekend when they have to play FlyQuest and it's like no matter what you say about FlyQuest, you can't say the players are the same quality as the TSG players. Right? FlyQuest have looked more turbulent, but they've also played the top two teams in the league so far. C9 haven't actually had that privilege. C9 play TL. Yeah. But then they dropped three game series against the two worst teams in the LCS. So it's. I'm concerned. My. My main thing is just like snappiness of making the right decision and bailing on things when like don't all in on the bad plays. You know, like you are allowed to stop all the bad place. [00:29:33] Speaker B: That's. [00:29:33] Speaker C: That's where my mind is. I was C9 [00:29:37] Speaker B: tactical was trying his goddamn hardest to win that game. I honestly thought there was a moment, yeah, when he kited back. I forget which fight it was, but I know that like he kites back over the Raptor pit from mid lane [00:29:50] Speaker C: and it's like it was like getting insane or the final fight of the game. [00:29:53] Speaker A: Yeah, [00:29:55] Speaker B: yeah. And like he almost clutched it and, and wins it for the team. But then, yeah, just not quite able to get there. The, the front line just couldn't hold. Like Thanatos and Blabber were melting like paper in front of that vein. So yeah, I, I had the same worry going into that game three as you did. But then seeing C9 smash so hard, I was like, okay, who on C9 bet on Polymarket that they were going to win? Because there's no way that the C9 game two is the same C9 that played games one and three. [00:30:26] Speaker C: Like, that was just ridiculous, you know, after game one. Like, oh, look at the odds now, man. [00:30:30] Speaker B: Like, I know, right? Like that was it. I, I, obviously I'm kidding. But like, man, it just felt like a different team. Games two versus three. But I'm happy that at least their reaction to that Game two was, yeah, let's just stop them. Let's just like get in their face. [00:30:48] Speaker C: My main takeaway is that, that they have it in them to just discard worse teams. It's, it's back, it's present. [00:30:55] Speaker A: Right. [00:30:56] Speaker C: They should have done it with, with Dig and they didn't. But it was here versus DSG and I think that's always been the thing with C9 this year. They've always just done away with the worst teams and it's, it's the better teams in the league where, you know, they actually have to stretch their, their legs and flex their muscles a bit to either get over the finish line or at least make it competitive. That's where the Flyquest series comes in now because I think there's a lot of grace you can give this team. Oh, they've got Tactical and Loki and they've got a little bit of adjustment time. Oh, Dom's the head coach now and obviously they've got, you know, Arrow in Yamato Cannon as remote coaching in. There's a lot of structural change. Three and a half weeks of that now. This is where you have to start showing up [00:31:40] Speaker A: now. [00:31:40] Speaker B: And also three weeks of the same roster. I mean, they had this kind of touted seven man experiment, but we have not seen, seen any hint of Sven or. [00:31:49] Speaker A: I was gonna ask is this Really? A seven man roster? [00:31:53] Speaker C: I don't think it is. [00:31:54] Speaker B: I think it's 100 time that we just. We start to question that. I mean, I guess, no, we've started questioning it already. Like even going into the split, we're like, is it gonna be. But I think at this point I'm comfortable to say no, this is not a seven man roster. This version of C9 is at least happy with just giving the the stage time to these guys to get them prepped. I think this is the five that they're gonna try and make the run for worlds with. [00:32:21] Speaker C: I don't know about you because I feel like the idea the second that Loki became available because as far as I know, I think they always wanted to have Loki at the start of the year anyway. [00:32:29] Speaker A: Right? Yep. The reason he went back to Korea was not because Cloud9 wanted to go a different way. It was because he had some personal matters to take care of at home. [00:32:38] Speaker C: Exactly. [00:32:38] Speaker A: So I, I do agree. I think the fact that he became available, Cloud9's like, yep, you're who we wanted to begin with. We're going that direction. [00:32:44] Speaker C: Yeah. So that's exactly how I feel. [00:32:46] Speaker B: Which then to me says, do you have a follow up point? Sure. To me that says apa. Hey, you wanna. If you want to move along to another team, I think Shopify Rebellion might [00:32:59] Speaker C: still have some budget. Yeah. [00:33:01] Speaker B: What the hell? Does not look good. Dude. Jamada, were you a zeny believer going [00:33:07] Speaker C: into the year for exactly the first series of the year? [00:33:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:15] Speaker C: And then everything that I've seen since the first series of the year has just been flatly disappointing. [00:33:22] Speaker A: You cannot convince me this player in the LCS is the same person who is playing in LCK Challengers. Like I refuse to believe [00:33:32] Speaker B: seems so different. And that can naturally lead to the next series. Shopify did get a win versus Sentinels. But again to me, I. I want to gas him up because I've been the Shopify guy in the broadcast. I. I still am a big fan of the team and of these players. It felt more like Sentinels lost than Shopify really won. In my mind, I think that the like the Baron Steel for example, like contracts just walks up and hits it. That wasn't even that fancy. Also Shout out Contract officially have the most Baron steals in the history of the LCS. He's taken that away from McSmithy. So shout out him. That's super cool, really fun kind of claim to fame that you can have. [00:34:13] Speaker C: Now. Did Leo ever get back on who is the Jungler who's had the most barons stolen away from them? Because I feel like I saw that post from one of you guys asking him. Or maybe it was someone else. [00:34:24] Speaker B: I think it was Cloud Sid Key that posted that. One of the interviewers here in N.A. who's been making a lot of banger content. At least I saw him post something similar. I don't remember any. Anybody else in the broadcast. I have not heard any update from Leo either though. But that would be a funny stat. I know that the stats themselves had been a nightmare to source through because apparently like the way that it had happened happening internally in the Riot system was incorrect. So we had to double check to make sure he did have the actual most steals. But now we have internally investigated and the last update we had was yes, it is confirmed. He did take it because we didn't [00:35:05] Speaker C: want to have to do this awkward. [00:35:06] Speaker B: Like, ooh, actually maybe you didn't contracts. But no, it. It is now we have confidence to say he got it. Stats are weird. I don't want to look at those numbers. I never put me in front of a spreadsheet. That would be a nightmare scenario. As I say that looking at a small spreadsheet of the teams here, a Sentinels versus Shopify. Bickle. [00:35:30] Speaker C: What. [00:35:30] Speaker B: What are your thoughts on Shopify's win here? Is this like. Like giving you any confidence that they can do some damage? Because to me it just says, all right, they're gonna go from a sixth place to a fifth place. [00:35:41] Speaker A: It's a top four and a bottom four still. [00:35:44] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:35:45] Speaker B: Unless Fly Quest continue to be poopy because they've been kind of poopy. [00:35:49] Speaker A: In all honesty. So is Cloud 9, though. It looks like a top two and a bottom six right now. [00:35:54] Speaker B: Oh, God. Dude, there's no way that Fly Quest and C9 both implode and we send Shopify to Worlds. There's no way. [00:36:02] Speaker A: Don't. [00:36:02] Speaker B: Don't say that. Don't put us in this world. I mean, it would make my prediction at the beginning of the year look a lot better, but I don't know if I want that for our region. [00:36:09] Speaker A: I mean, it feels like both Western leagues right now are just two team leagues. [00:36:14] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:36:15] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:36:16] Speaker C: Solid observation. [00:36:17] Speaker B: Pretty much. That actually is the exact same in LEC right now. Yeah. Jamada, do you have any strong thoughts either on Shopify or Sentinels? [00:36:26] Speaker C: No, not really, man. I think Sentinels are just gonna stay where they are. I think they're just guaranteed fifth, sixth, and it seems like they're going to be holding Hands with with Shopify come the end of the season. [00:36:41] Speaker B: I still like a lot of what Dark Wings has been able to show off this split all this whole year. Actually an NA mid laner. It's rare that we get NA mid laners that impress but like game three for example. Individually he was up like like 2000 gold on Zenny while his team was falling apart. Unfortunately wasn't able to close it out. He's the one that gets picked with. I think it was Hambock in the top jungle towards the end of the game that kind of snowballed into the game ending push. But he is able to put himself in with in positions with leads without a lot of help from the rest of the team. I'm hopeful for Dark Wings's future. The rest of the Sentinels roster. I don't know who I'd build around. I probably keep Humbach if I'm looking at next year of like okay, what changes would they want to make? I think you keep Dark Wings Hambock probably who he because I don't think you're going to get a better support that doesn't take up an import slot. But Impact. I love you man. I think that the. The hands are kind of just gone at this point. If he's not on a tank he just doesn't look good. Next day though. Oh my God. Dig Lion. That happened. Those were games. [00:37:53] Speaker A: And [00:37:56] Speaker B: I had never been angrier at a player that I was casting than I was at Palafox in game two. [00:38:04] Speaker C: No. [00:38:05] Speaker B: Because God damn it. Palafox. What the hell was that? [00:38:08] Speaker C: Fox has a bad game. I just think back to that interview where he. He flamed the LCS casters and it's just burned into my brain. [00:38:17] Speaker B: Yep. Or it's like so if anybody didn't catch this game two, game one actually looked pretty good. It was a return of Dardoch. There was this whole cool homecoming story. We gave Dardox on Lee Sin, his second most played champion of all time. He gets first blood and puts Dignitas in a place to win. They're winning the game. They're winning the game. They're up in gold. They're up in gold. They lose a fight at Baron. Lion get the Baron. Lion end the game immediately like what? [00:38:44] Speaker C: What? [00:38:44] Speaker B: Oh my God. They get the Baron at 27:11. The end game ends at 28:21. It took barely over a minute for lion to turn that from a losing game state to an end. [00:38:55] Speaker A: I was watching this game when Dig was winning. I had to Put down my phone and go over and do something in the kitchen for a little bit. I come back and I see they're talking about how lion won the game. Like, what the hell did I miss, right? [00:39:08] Speaker B: Dude, that one was ridiculous. But then game two was where it got inexcusable. It was only a 22 minute game. That's Lightning fast. And man, Palafox again mid lane. There's this moment where he's level six, Annie, Saint is level five, Lissandra. Kind of cool that we got a Lissandra mid lane here. It had only been played two other times to split chat. Looked up the stat. One of them was Jojo actually over in the LEC, but it had a 0% win rate. This was the first win for it to split. Palafox has a level up. He's got his support there and his jungler there invading the raptors. And he drops Tibbers on a level four Melio with no flash. When he doesn't have the stun prepped, he drops Tibbers and then kites back. Doesn't even throw out like a Q follow up to try and kill d' Amelio before they get jumped on by Armao and Saint. And then Palafox dies, Ignar dies, Dardoc dies, and the game falls apart. They have one other moment to try and come back. It's a dive. Top lane. Denethor is getting dove for the second time. He actually survives one of them. He's getting dove another time. And everybody's there like, Ignar roams up dard ox there. Palafox is walking up as Annie. And we get a replay, a comms replay of this moment. And Palafox. It starts with him saying, I have tp. If they dive, we win this game. They're giving us the game. If they dive, proceeds to not press the TP button and instead walks all the way top, his entire team dies. And then he drops Tibbers on four people, gets a big burst, and then dies himself. And it was like, what the was. That was the stupidest thing I had seen in a while. So I got very tilted off of this one. Tough game to cast, tough game to watch. Not much more to say about it, but does anybody else want to flame dignitas at all here? [00:40:54] Speaker A: The tippers non stun was even worse because JAT was trying to defend it, saying, oh, maybe he didn't have his cooldowns for the stun. They went back. Full health, full mana, every cooldown available. You could have pressed E to get the Stun ready. But no. Just. Yep. Didn't feel like it. [00:41:11] Speaker B: Yep. [00:41:12] Speaker C: Just didn't feel like it. Yep. [00:41:15] Speaker B: Yep. Yeah, it was like. It's inexcusable. Like, you can't. Amy's like the easiest mechanical champion in the mid lane. Dude. Like, we can't be doing this. [00:41:25] Speaker C: Yeah, he just. He just never. He just never helps himself. Palafox, unfortunately. Like, I generally have no problems with. With, with him even as a player really, other than the fact he's. He's just not that good. But [00:41:39] Speaker B: he's so good in game ones, man. Palpox Game one. Oh, my God, he's scary. [00:41:45] Speaker C: I'm gonna say what you guys were afraid to say because you had to narratively hype it up because you. You prepped the. The bloody. What. What do you call the side thirds in. In. In. In the prod room? [00:41:56] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know actually. But yes, I. I had the one that was the Palafox summer. And then I. I wanted to addend it and be like, nope, it's not Palafox summer. It's now Palafox Bucks. [00:42:05] Speaker C: Game one. That was propped up by the fact that D was having an insane lease in game. It just is what it is, man. That's just how it is. [00:42:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:42:15] Speaker C: Yeah. I. I don't know. Dig, just. And you know what's very sad? Den has been a genuinely positive addition to this lineup. Obviously Dardoch, from what we got to see, it's very limited. Seems like a positive direction guy. If you slapped in help, if you slapped in Dark wings. Right. Probably the most direct one to one comparison, like player, this team would probably just be fifth, sixth, just instantly. [00:42:43] Speaker B: Dude. I feel like there's so many better picks that they could go in the Midland. Like APA is another one. I think APA to Shopify makes more sense because he's going to want to be on a team that has a higher chance of winning. And I think Shopify with a better mid laner is that. [00:42:57] Speaker A: But I don't think Shopify gives up on Zinni already after all that. I think they ride the year with him. Dignitas. I could definitely see saying, all right, pal Fox, you're done. [00:43:07] Speaker C: Does this might sound like a silly question, but it's obviously because he spent an extended period of time. Does Ignos. Is he an import again? Because he came back to Europe? Because I feel like he was in NA for just about long enough that he. [00:43:22] Speaker A: I. I don't think he's ever been a resident. I think he's always been an import. [00:43:27] Speaker C: Okay. [00:43:28] Speaker A: Actually he was in na. I think he's always been an import. [00:43:31] Speaker C: Okay. [00:43:31] Speaker A: I don't know though. [00:43:32] Speaker C: Though just. Just because he spent just about long enough in an A that it does make me question whether or not he ever got a residency change. [00:43:40] Speaker B: Yeah, like Berserker has residency now. That's crazy to think about. He's been here long enough. [00:43:48] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:43:48] Speaker B: A lot of changes could still keep happening over a dignitas. I was happy with Dardoch in game one. Game two, I will be a little more critical. There were two moments he's playing nocturne turn. Paranoia is your most useful tool. There's a specific moment bought. The game was already over by this point. They were like 8k behind. But they had one less hail mary play bot where they tried to like get onto Saint and he doesn't press paranoia which means Dokla can TP bot lane and turn to play. And if he had pressed paranoia and gone in on Saint, they also probably have enough damage to kill Saint. They didn't kill Saint. Dokla shows up and then they just get wiped and the game was already over. But it's moments like that where I'm like, that's a pretty simple one. Like if you're Hail Mary, commit to a. A pick in a side lane. Hail Mary, commit to the play. Like don't half ass it and think oh, I can save paranoia for the fight afterwards or anything. So there's some moments like that where I was like, yeah, I think Dardoch was probably mentally checked out also at [00:44:39] Speaker C: that point in game two. [00:44:40] Speaker B: But game one, I was very, very impressed. Very excited to have him back in the league and all the content around him. Did you guys see the. The interaction with him and Dokla? [00:44:47] Speaker A: That was. That was nice. [00:44:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Made front page of the league subreddit. If you haven't seen it, go check it out. Really wholesome moment where Dardot goes up to Dokla and says some just really nice kind words. So I won't spoil it. Beyond that. If you have not heard or seen last series from LCS was FlyQuest versus Team Liquid and that was more one sided than I expected from Team Liquid. I. I am not seeing a lot of fight or mechanical execution in this flag was. I'm call it out. Griffin had this play top Lane. I believe it was game one when he's playing the Pantheon, he like tries to flash Q and just misses. He just like misplaces the queue and it goes wide and then he dies because Morgan flash is in on him, then as Olaf and gets the kill and it's like little things like that. Started off the. The game rough for FlyQuest despite actually getting like a couple kills in the bottom lane. Then game two, it was just team look at kind of steam ball or steamrolling them through bot lane. I want to talk about both these teams though, because I think they're both important and have interesting thoughts. Jamada, I want to give you Fly Quest start off with the bad because I feel like as a European representative you can blame our players more honestly than we can. [00:45:59] Speaker C: Sure. I just. I just think these guys are clicking poorly. There's actually not too much to say. Yeah, I think they're clicking poorly and whenever I. Or maybe you hear like other people who are maybe not directly on broadcasts talk like this, what we usually mean is just like mechanics. It's kind of like the funny coffee that's like, you know, they would be a good team. They just have to improve their mechanics, their macro, their jungle. But like. But it does feel like. It does feel like a case of a little bit everything right now. But again, you have to give them the grace of their opening weeks of the lcfs have contained TL and Lion, who are just almost indescribably better than the rest of the field. Yeah, their time abroad really leveled them up. I was very big on TL and the very limited series that we got to see of them at msi, but I thought it was very obvious how much they'd improved and I'm glad they've kept up with that pace and brought it back home. And same thing for lion, right? Obviously that MSI run was very impressive. They almost single handedly changed a lot of things. But with FlyQuest it doesn't feel like this team has done much evolution between spring and summer. Now granted, again, run of schedule does make that difficult to show off, but it's also done kind of the inverse where they played versus DSG and we didn't really get to learn anything new about this team. They kind of just ran over DSG and that was the. That was the end of the conversation. Which is why comically kind of similarly to C9, this is the first real series like coming up this week where I, I think, well, well, you know, they've played poorly. Griffin's target selection has been really poor. You know, quad's been relatively muted. Cryo gen has kind of, despite being on predominantly playmakers, not really been making the same level of snappy plays that he was making earlier in the year the C9 series will be the first open ended series that both teams walk into. [00:48:02] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that we've already talked about it. It's kind of the preview for the third place team for NA at Worlds. These are the two that are expected. If they keep playing poorly though there might be other teams like Shopify Sentinels that could enter the conversation for sure. [00:48:18] Speaker C: I will say this and I don't know when he said it and I've got a lot of respect for Finkard. You are your damn mind thinking this team was going to make it to Worlds in the first year. If they make it to Worlds in their first year I'll genuinely be very impressed with this squad. But this, this in my head with the age and experience of you know the players brought in. This is a two year project at the floor. At the floor. This is not we make Worlds in our first year. This is we make MSI in our second. You know we make Worlds in our second. Yeah. So that's where I hope the promise is for them. [00:48:56] Speaker B: I do want to remind Everybody sitting at 1 and 2 right now but the only losses were to the top two teams. They lost to lion, they lost to Team Liquid so those two are looking dominant. I think the Flyquest you're absolutely right. Their real test is around the corner with with Cloud 9 and then they're gonna have an easy week five. FlyQuest is one of the teams staying back and not going to Mexico which means week five we have all the teams that are not going which is gonna be Flyquest Sentinels and then Fly Quest Dignitas and then their last match is Shopify Rebellion which week seven actually could be very important for playoff seating depending on on how Shopify close out this next week. Big old. Give me the Team Liquid T though. How confident are you in them? Because in my mind this is our best team. Lion are still a little Nerf without inspired. Yes. They haven't dropped a game. They look good with our mayo but I. I feel like Team Liquid are, are the better looking team for my. [00:49:49] Speaker A: I mean you can just quick sim until week six because nothing matters until then. [00:49:55] Speaker B: Like yeah, pretty much. I. I think that both these teams will be on different. [00:49:58] Speaker A: Oh absolutely. They both should be. We should have inspired back by then. Ida. Matt. I think he's supposed to be coming back this week. Don't hold me to that. [00:50:07] Speaker B: So fun bit of information. Actually you know what I did kind of forget this in during the news at the beginning of the episode. If you are an eagle eyed Viewer and you check the Player Global Contract database. Armao was extended another week. Week. [00:50:24] Speaker A: Okay. [00:50:25] Speaker B: As of yesterday I have heard nothing internally or no. No leaked information confirming if he's playing. But it's public information. The Player Global contract database was updated and our Mayo is online for one more week which would signal Inspired gets two more weeks break because he would not be playing this week. And then week five, lion aren't playing because it's going to be the team's not going to Mexico. So maybe the that's part of it is like okay, he would only come back for the one week anyway. Let's just give him a little more time to rest. I don't know what the plan is, but I think it kind of makes sense in a way. [00:51:00] Speaker A: No, but back to Team Liquid. They have not looked tested in any of their series so far. They are just gliding through the LCS right now. [00:51:13] Speaker B: Yeah, I think their only test will be Lion. [00:51:17] Speaker C: Who does. [00:51:17] Speaker B: Who do they even have left to play the DSG this next week? Then Shopify lion, then Dig. Oh my God. [00:51:27] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:51:28] Speaker A: Yeah, we're gonna have another 70 team. It's just. Will it be lion or Team Liquid? [00:51:36] Speaker B: One of them has to beat the other. So that's expectations for sure. I like to give recommendations for series to watch. If you weren't able to catch one the previous or you weren't able to catch all of the games the previous weekend like the one that I think you should go back and rew. I would say game one of Dig lion was fun. You can see the return of Dardoch Dignitas looking good for 25 minutes until they just lose the game. And then Sentinel. Shopify Rebellion was probably the closest match actually maybe even DSG. DSG C9. [00:52:08] Speaker A: I'm going to say DSG C9. Game two is pretty fun. You can watch Lion Dig game two if you want to be able to crash out of Palafox with us. [00:52:17] Speaker B: Oh true. Honestly, watch the highlights of that one because I think both pal Fox moments will be in the highlights and that's all you need to see. Yeah, that does it for this past week. Let's talk about our predictions for the coming week and then hop across the seat at the lec. Week four we'll have on Saturday DSG versus Team Liquid and then Dig versus Shopify Rebellion. The ultimate grudge match bowl as we always call that one. DSG versus Team Liquid. We got TL2O's across the board. In fact I put 200 0. I think that they will Win that many games worth of gold lead over DSG in the series. Not much to talk about there. So let's talk about Shopify versus Dignitas. I actually have SR21 because SR21 Jamada, you do not even give Dignitas a game. Did you not see enough promise from Dardoch's return to Warrant? At least I have to feel that [00:53:07] Speaker C: it's gonna be a. It's just gonna be a tragedy. Like it actually has nothing to do with how positive Dig looked. I just have a feeling that this series is going to be another case of Pala genius doing his thing. [00:53:21] Speaker A: You mean you're not excited for Palafox versus Zinni? [00:53:27] Speaker B: It's. It's the most cursed mid lane matchup for sure. And I will say Palafox historically has played better against Shopify because he's against contracts and Fudge the old teammates that dropped him. So yeah, something to think about. [00:53:41] Speaker A: If you told me that mid lane matchup was actually going to be close going into the year, I would have laughed at you. It makes me so sad. [00:53:50] Speaker C: Me too. Yeah? [00:53:53] Speaker B: Yeah. I honestly think Zinni is the only reason that I wouldn't just definitively say Palpox the worst mid laner in the league. And that also breaks my heart because I, I was really hopeful for Zinni, but they both look bad. We'll see what happens in the mid lane. I think a lot of it will come down to jungle though. It's like can Dardoch really give that much of resurgence for Dignitas and can. Can, can contracts show up on the day and do his contracts thing? Because like I feel like with that guy it's always a coin flip on the weekend. It's like is are we going to get good contracts or bad contracts? You never fully know. Sometimes when it's bad the team can still carry him. But usually not. Dignitas versus lion is Sunday and we all have lion across the board. Oh wait, no, I'm just lying to you. It's C9 versus Fly Quest. I was looking at the the previous week. C9 versus like west is starting off Sunday. We got C9 across the board two one. So I think it's gonna be a close series. I think FlyQuest is good for one. I agree. Jamada. They're not clicking their buttons well enough. But C9 again probably gonna bet on themselves losing the game. So they'll probably throw one at some point in there. [00:54:56] Speaker A: Oh yeah, there it is. [00:54:59] Speaker B: Yep. Lion versus Sentinels to close out the weekend And I think, no surprise, we got lying across the board. 2. Oh, Jamada, you do give a game to sentinels. Predict, how does sentinels win their one game? What's the catalyst? [00:55:12] Speaker C: Like I said, I think Sentinels, every now and again, they. They do play some genuinely good league of Legends, and they have done throughout a lot of this year. They typically do play up to the level of their opponent. My. My concern is that lion might just end up being so good that they won't end up dropping a game here. But look, I think if lion can go 5,000 gold down to dig, they can go several thousand gold down to Sentinels. I don't think that's out of the question. And, you know, as long as sentinels don't click the purple worm in like, a stupid part of the game, they [00:55:46] Speaker B: don't debuff themselves a bunch. [00:55:48] Speaker C: Then they're making one game. And look, I. I don't know how you guys have felt on the broadcast. My assessment of lion since our mayo has been in and Inspired has been out is that the rest of the lion roster are behaving like how school children behave when there's a substitute teacher in the class. [00:56:05] Speaker A: It's so true. They all just legitimately playing like Fly Quest did last. Last split. [00:56:10] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:56:11] Speaker A: Like, all gas, no breaks, all hands. Yeah. [00:56:14] Speaker B: So their schedule has kind of allowed it, though. I mean, they had Fly quest as their first opponents, and then with. When they. It was that easy of a win for them, I think it just gave them the confidence to be like, okay, yeah, we got Shopify. We got dig. Like, yeah, we can have some fun with this before Inspired comes back. If it's not him back this week. Week, it's just Sentinels, you know, which is one of the other teams that went to ewc. That was the. They won the qualifier, and it was lion. And them Sentinels actually did a little better than lion at In. In Paris, but it's not enough to give me confidence in them taking the series for sure. Okay, cool. Well, there we go. That's Our predictions for LCS Week 4. Little preview for you now. Let's hop across the pond over to Jamada's home territory. Story in the lec, the region that is fourth best in the world. I believe if we're keeping track, which over in n. A, we definitely are. Week three had a lot of games, and we got a lot of games coming up. Jamada, man, LEC is packing these weekends. Four days of festive threes is quite a lot. So give me the top to bottom standings right now as they Currently are the 10 teams in the LEC. [00:57:27] Speaker C: Top to bottom, we have KC in the sole possession of first place at 6.0G2 are in sole possession of second place at 5 and 1. In third place we have Team Vitalia 3.2, Giant X at 2.1, Na' Vi in fifth at a 2.2score. Movistar Koi sixth place with a 2 and 4 record. In joint seventh and eighth we have SK and Team Heritage 6. And in joint last place we have Fanatic and Shifters who are yet to pick up a series win at 03. [00:58:04] Speaker B: Yep, both with some game wins. Two game wins a piece, but no series wins yet. Let's talk about the games and they how they shook out Friday saw Shifters vs. GX and then Team Heretics vs. Fnatic. I wasn't able to catch many of the games on Friday or Monday. I caught some of the Saturday and Sunday Week one. So Jamada give me the the spark notes. Just kind of like what happened on Friday and what were the big stories or big takeaways from Friday? [00:58:28] Speaker C: The biggest takeaway was that Fnatic actually had it in them to lose the team Heretics. That, that is the, the biggest story because at the end of the day this, this lineup should not be losing to a team with like no, no franchise. There isn't a franchise player on Heretics, man. Like, yeah, this, this Heretics roster was designed to be, you know, a part of their lovely rotating several year project that they love to throw around. [00:59:09] Speaker B: I just love how going into the year they were like, yeah, we're gonna be kind of committed to the roster. And then, oh my God, they were not committed to this roster. Way to know Daglas and Hype. And one of my favorite things is watching Hype's player Cam. He's the least Hype player I've ever seen in a player Cam. What the hell is up with that name? [00:59:28] Speaker C: I feel like that's false advertising. Sometimes players from the eastern regions, they will just pick names that sound cool in English and I have a feeling Hype might be one of those, one of those players. He is also playing on Team Heroes behind the Day. [00:59:43] Speaker B: So I suppose that's the least hype. Yeah. Yeah. [00:59:46] Speaker C: So that, that kind of, I don't know, like they team Heretics beat Fnatic. I have no faith in Heretics to do basically anything else for almost the remainder of the split with the exception of maybe Beat Shifters, which probably wouldn't do anything for their, for their standings in terms of Getting to playoffs. Anyway, that's. That's the Spark notes on Friday, man. Giant X dropping a game to shifters also, I guess kind of soft. Embarrassing for them, considering Giant X's aspirations are technically to kind of be a Welds break in, especially with mkoy, obviously for it. So you want to look as clean as you can. [01:00:25] Speaker B: Have been impressed with Oscar Renan Overall, I've been impressed with Oscar Renin's return. I did not have a lot of faith in him, but he's definitely proven me well. [01:00:33] Speaker A: Almost every member of Fnatic needs to be shot out of a cannon. [01:00:37] Speaker C: I thought that sentence was going to end at a different point of it. Look, look, I like. I agree. And you know what? We're kind of gonna. We're gonna hop. I'm assuming Kangasi probably wants to do this like chronologically. I'm just gonna hop to the Fnatic Casey series. [01:00:53] Speaker B: Yeah. Typically just kind of go through the date. [01:00:55] Speaker C: I'll hop forward to Sunday for a second. Just to stay on the topic of Fanatic, if that's okay. That Go for it series was one of the most categorically depressing series that I had. Have ever watched. That was the first time. And I don't care about Fanatic anyway. And I haven't for a couple of years since maybe the end of 2024. But they somehow made me develop the emotion of apathy towards them. Like genuine apathy. Wow. They. They just can't play the game together. They just can't. They don't have the capacity to do it. This Vladi pickup at the beginning of the year was horrendous. They had Poby on contract. They could have picked him up for the next year. They just decided not to do it. [01:01:56] Speaker B: Although after Poby's Anivia gameplay, maybe they did make a good choice. [01:02:02] Speaker C: A good. It's a fair shout, mate. It's a fair shot. [01:02:05] Speaker B: The fact Navi won that game is disgusting. But it's. [01:02:09] Speaker C: Yeah, it's. [01:02:10] Speaker B: We can get into that later. [01:02:13] Speaker C: And so I. I just don't understand why they did that. I don't understand why Vladi did it. To be like. I'll be honest. I. I think if I was a mid tier mid laner with the potential to be a top tier mid laner like Vladi has clearly shown, I would rather stay free agent than join Fnatic. That. That. [01:02:37] Speaker B: That bad. That's always the argument is like, is it worth it to join a bad team and look bad, or should you just wait for a better team? [01:02:45] Speaker C: Now the, the brand new legacy of Fnatic is that they are, to quote a coach who was actually talking about my own coach at the time, fanatical specialists in failure. When was the last time fanatic won a title, man is 2018. [01:03:06] Speaker B: Hey, they beat, they beat G2 last spring. [01:03:08] Speaker A: Their last title was 2018. [01:03:10] Speaker C: Yeah. Their last time. [01:03:12] Speaker A: They've never won an LEC title. Their last title was the, was the EU LCS. [01:03:16] Speaker C: Yep. [01:03:17] Speaker A: Oh my. They've come despite this. Yeah. Somehow they have the longest active world streak. [01:03:25] Speaker C: Yep. [01:03:28] Speaker A: It's breaking this year, but somehow they have it. [01:03:33] Speaker C: Just don't know how it's happened. [01:03:34] Speaker B: That's actually wild to think about. [01:03:36] Speaker C: So what the hell, I don't know. And then as far as like individual performances are concerned, I, this was the kind of. If I'm resorc and I have the kind of series that happened to me and he didn't even inherently play Paul throughout the course of that series and every decision that he made, it might be time for resort to retire. And I, I, and I say that from coming from a place of like, I, I think it might be better for him not as in a case of like, I think he's bad, he needs to retire because I don't know where he would slot into another top tier team now. I think that that ship has sailed, unfortunately. You know, just depressing for like considering like Bickle said, they, this organization has somehow managed to squeak their way into worlds every year without failure. This, this is now the year where obviously it's going to come to an end and I just don't know what Fnatic were thinking when they put this roster together. I don't know. [01:04:32] Speaker B: What if it doesn't though? What if they somehow do still make worlds? What would it take? What would it take for them to make worlds? [01:04:40] Speaker C: Yeah, well, it would have to be a, a genuine giant X disaster class. Oh my God. I've just looked. Okay. I've just. [01:04:52] Speaker A: Honestly, this is really depressing, but I'm looking at. There's no, like this third team is miles better than ever. Everyone's just has instances of being so terrible. If they can squeak into playoff, it's not impossible. [01:05:08] Speaker C: Possible. [01:05:09] Speaker A: It's, it's not impossible. Which is really depressing to say. [01:05:13] Speaker C: And so I just looked at the run of schedule for both teams. Okay. Fnatic have SK, G2 shifters, Navi Vitality and GX left to play. So for clarity, even though we're talking about, you know, Fnatic playing quite poorly, they have technically played two of the. The what has become the traditional top three teams in the league. Very similarly to FlyQuest. That said. All right, here's. I was about to say I was gonna look into the crystal ball. G2, give them a pity series. Okay. [01:05:52] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah, just like spring. It happens every now. [01:05:56] Speaker C: And SK can lose to bloody anyone. They've that. This. This team is terrible. [01:06:03] Speaker A: Right. [01:06:04] Speaker C: Shifters can also lose to anyone. Everybody on this team is terrible except for Rooster. And then every other opponent is quite literally known for throwing series. There's a world where f go like 5 and 4 or 6 and 3 absolute best case scenario and make it into playoffs. It's. It's absolute cope. But the state of the LEC is such that all of these teams can drop series. My problem is though, fanatic have just looked so poor. [01:06:39] Speaker B: Specifically the GT one. [01:06:40] Speaker A: What would Fnatic look like on an international stage? Like would we witness actual war crimes? [01:06:48] Speaker B: Well, if we. If they go to play ins at Worlds, that's really good news for NA's third seed which will also. [01:06:55] Speaker A: We know the format of Worlds yet and what is and isn't playing. [01:06:59] Speaker C: I believe it's already like hearing whispers basically. I don't think they've actually come out and announced the format yet. [01:07:07] Speaker A: Gotcha. [01:07:08] Speaker C: There was a thing that was like the, there was like LCP casters talking about the. The format on. On air. And it's like those guys always know first. Like the, the chat. The Chinese broadcast side LCP guys, Korea, they always know first first. So I think they made an oopsie and accidentally revealed that basically the third seats from the rest of the world will have to go through like an actual real playing stage this year. [01:07:38] Speaker A: I. [01:07:39] Speaker B: What I had heard was third seed from lcp, third seed from lec, third seed from LCS and second seed. [01:07:45] Speaker A: That would actually make a lot of sense and be the best way they could do it because China and Korea shouldn't be in plays. [01:07:53] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. Don't put the flood seed from LPL and lck. [01:07:57] Speaker C: Now that there's real play ins, there's a chance that they actually fix the seeding which would then actually fix Swiss. [01:08:06] Speaker A: Whoa, whoa, whoa. [01:08:07] Speaker C: Look, I don't want to get ahead of ourselves. I don't have my cake and eat it too, but we are like halfway there. [01:08:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. I mean we're. We're close to the, to the start of Worlds actually, which is crazy to think about. That's only what, two months away now and we still don't have concrete information on that. I'm sure it'll be coming out in a primer at some point here, but we're getting a little in the weeds for. For international. I don't think Fnatic are making it. If they do, I will eat a shoe. How about that other series of this past weekend in the lec? Dude, SK Navi tilted the hell out of me. Dude. Dude, that game three was disastrous. Poby. Actually I think it was the this one. It was because Poby's on Nivea. I want to say it was the SK series where he like flashes in to look for a crazy like stun immediately just gets popped and dies. Sk startup baron get debuffed and then navi just win a 4v5 a baron win the fight and then end the game. It's like okay, cool. [01:09:17] Speaker A: It was your classic Pope be for Nexus. [01:09:20] Speaker B: Yeah, that's a classic call. But like that play as it's funny to laugh at it because they still win. But what the hell was he thinking? Like I went back and rewatched it. Like why would he flash in here? I could not think of a legitimate reason. Even if you trade one for one, I still think it's bad because you're losing the anivia egg as well. [01:09:42] Speaker C: It was just really one of those plays where like like you know when you're watching say a non official broadcast of like a tournament and it's just like really angry bears in the. In the Twitch chat like the YouTube chat. It's plays like that that validate those guys feelings like yeah, yeah. [01:10:03] Speaker B: Poby is your version of pal. [01:10:06] Speaker C: Who. The the Greatest of Sometimes is not on the same level as Battle Fox. [01:10:17] Speaker B: The Greatest of sometimes. That's a good nickname for him. [01:10:19] Speaker C: He is the Ghost. [01:10:25] Speaker B: Not the goat. [01:10:26] Speaker C: He's the Ghost. [01:10:26] Speaker B: He's the Ghost because when he dies he can, you know, take over the bodies of the enemy team and make them do stupid shit. [01:10:33] Speaker A: Very killable Demon Prince. [01:10:36] Speaker B: The very killable. [01:10:37] Speaker A: Killable. [01:10:37] Speaker B: Very killable. Extra killable Scramble even. Sorry. Scrambled Navi was able to take that one there two and two. But man, I feel like this team had so much more promise in spring going into that split than they I currently have for them. I feel like they're just a solid middle of the pack team. Like they're probably going to be a fifth, sixth place team in my mind. [01:10:59] Speaker C: Jama. [01:11:00] Speaker B: Do you see any other reason why they wouldn't be? [01:11:02] Speaker C: I think they. They seem to just kind of run their course and hit a bit of a ceiling that they never ended up Bursting through in winter. Obviously the format was different. It was best of ones at the playoffs, but the same thing kind of happened in spring. It feels like they've really stalemated and struggled to find a way to meaningly, meaningfully progress as a team. You know, there's, there's a lot to point at. It's weird because this team does seem genuinely well coached on a, a structural level. But individually then, you know, members aren't stepping up consistently when they need to. Drafts aren't feeling as creative as they were to really like lean into, you know, identities like relax, wanting to play the champion. Like don't get me wrong, he's still getting the occasional. Yeah, when he got this, like, he's still getting the occasional like zen here and there. But you know, it feels like a bit of a one off and that's, that's kind of it. You know, this team doesn't really have anything besides that in the back pocket. SamD has been like your very typical Korean import where it's just like he's consistently good, but that's it. And it kind of doesn't matter if the rest of the team isn't doing their job. And that's kind of what it feels like. You know, Paris relics duo just doesn't link up on the map in the same way way that other support jungles do. And that, that is the big difference maker between this team being a, you know, a mid team and a genuinely good team maybe contesting for fourth or third. [01:12:32] Speaker A: Can we just. [01:12:33] Speaker B: Which I had them in that conversation before. [01:12:35] Speaker A: The LEC just has KC and G2. Right. Can we just grab like a player from each of a couple teams and put it together to make an actual decent third place team? [01:12:44] Speaker C: Like, well, that that team should. [01:12:46] Speaker A: So many of these players just need [01:12:47] Speaker C: some help that that team should. [01:12:48] Speaker A: Yeah, it should be. [01:12:50] Speaker C: But the, the issue. Yeah, I, I don't want to be too mean, but I think one now. Okay. Contrary to popular belief, even though I do think Moen has been struggling for a little while, I don't think he's as bad as other people make him out to be. I think that he is expressly very good on his unique sets of champions where he really kind of gets to be the mad scientist and he's not set up to be successful on those picks in drafts. Consistently. When I say consistently, I'm talking game two. Game. [01:13:25] Speaker A: Right. [01:13:27] Speaker C: I'm not talking about, you know, one game a series. This, that. No, Merwin is the kind of player that should be played around because he has such a weird champion pool [01:13:39] Speaker A: and [01:13:39] Speaker C: they just don't really do that. And that. That's kind of the issue I have with Mo and I've had for a very long time. My opinion on this hasn't changed. This guy will play the weird shit, right. I don't know how much EWC you guys caught, but that guy played like vex Top. I think it was. It was maybe the first game that he played at the tournament. [01:13:58] Speaker B: Yeah, he played Vex Top. [01:14:00] Speaker A: I think he went like oh. [01:14:01] Speaker C: And now it was, it was terrible mostly actually because of the build. The pick itself I think was fine. I think the fact that he went AP was the issue. It needed to be some like it needs hybrid build which he's done in the past. This is why I'm bringing it up. That would actually make it survive the Ambessa Akali Lee, Sin Casio that I was playing against. You know, picks like that like do do things with this guy's champion pool. He played Mordekaiser in the first series against G2 and that was a champion that should realistically 1v9 the game. Now that's a game where you can actually criticize Merwin for his performance because he didn't have the impact that he should have on that champion. But also then it's the draft because it's like there's a Mordekaiser here versus three melee champs and you know, two range champs that he really enjoys owing. But then the rest of the comp isn't really built to do anything but one three one which Mordekaiser can do. But you kind of want that guy in teamfights. Like he's legitimately one of the few juggernauts that wants the team fight fight because he gets to ISO anyone in any given fight and they just didn't play that well. So this team just has a plethora of issues, man. You know, I've hyper focused on Merwin. Don't get me started on super. Right. Like we could be here for longer. [01:15:19] Speaker B: I mean legitimately even I, I love him. He's my boy. I think his laning is still a strength. But Jojo, he, he's been like I, he. I watch him smash Jackies in lane game two too. And then Jackie's just have like, you know the avatar scene where it's like he goes into the state and he looks back and sees all these generations of avatars. That was Jackie's with that Talia game. Like holy those flicks around the Raptor fight were insane. He gets like a three man flick and then gets Jojo at the very end to kill him. But like it's moments like that where when you're JoJo, it doesn't matter how much of an individual lead you're getting for yourself when you're not stepping up, up in the mid to late game team fights. Like we're not getting that version of monster JoJo where he can carry a game. If he gets a lead, he's getting the lead. But then the team in a way is also running it down around him. But like he's not, he's kind of joining them. He's running it down too. He's like, I'm along for the ride, let's have fun. [01:16:13] Speaker C: That's, that's the problem. I mean, and the thing is, it's funny because there was a lot of with with JoJo, I feel like he'd matured especially halfway through last year. And I'm talking personality wise, not even just inherently gameplay. I think it was very apparent that his move over to Europe really did mature him as a person. But I think in his gameplay now he's kind of regressing a little bit in that aspect of discipline that typically comes with time as a player. And it then makes me wonder, you know, what's going on in the comms of, of mco. You know, structurally El Yoya is typically El Capitan. [01:16:47] Speaker B: Right, Right. [01:16:48] Speaker C: He's the guy that drives the ship. Any team he's on is an El Yoyo team. But you know, that guy's also very emotional. We, we know that because, because of how things have unfolded on his previous teams. You know, you, you pair that up with what is a team around them, the rest of the team that has exactly the same amount of experience, you know, relative to each other. Not El Yoyo and Jojo of, you know, being in the LEC situation since, excuse me, since 24, it's like, well how, how much, you know, how much say do they get to have in the room with oh Yoyo comparatively like in a game, [01:17:34] Speaker B: it's hard to say. I'm also just surprised. Well, maybe not. Surprised isn't the right word. I think it's tough timing because like MCO's coach Melzette was pretty vocal in spring of like we will make changes if we need to. Like if, if this team doesn't improve, [01:17:48] Speaker C: I mean they're gonna be player their top laner. He's in Berlin right now. He's in Berlin. Berlin for the last week and a Half. [01:17:58] Speaker B: I wonder if we see him. I mean, there's a good chance that he does get game time after this past weekend because, like, something's got to change on this KOI roster, I think so it's just not clicking. It's not working. But it's tough to make a change this late into a summer. [01:18:14] Speaker A: I mean, really needs to try and make some changes. They MCO is hosting the top four playoff teams for a roadshow to start playoffs and it's very likely they're not going to make their own roadshow. [01:18:31] Speaker B: Oh, I didn't even think about that. Yeah, that's. That's brutal. That's brutal. [01:18:39] Speaker C: Well, [01:18:41] Speaker B: I hope they do. For what it's worth, we'll see the rest of the weekend. From what I could tell is pretty much stock standard according to expectations. I took a gamble and bet on SK beating Vitality because I always felt like SK was good for one upset. They were not able to get the upset, so that was unfortunate. But yeah, other than that it was yeah, just like two O's exactly where you'd expect the two O's to be. So with that in mind, I'm. I'm just wanting to hop ahead to this coming week's predictions. We can talk about what we expect to happen in week four. Four? Yep, Week four of the lec. It's gonna be another doozy of four weekends or four days of games that weekend. I believe it's the last time. No, week five will also have it. Then it's week six with only three. Wow. LEC is really packing their schedule. Shout out the broadcast sound. Also shout out Lore. That was another thing that we didn't mention. At the top of the day, she's gonna be on maternity eternity leave for the rest of the year. So she had her last broadcast this past weekend. She's having a kid. Best of luck to Lore and the family. Very exciting, very exciting news. But that does mean, unfortunately, she will not be on the rest of lec, summer or worlds. So that's a bit of a bummer. But for. For a great reason, for a really good reason to. To be missing out on some work. Okay, now predictions. So I just want to give that quick shout out. Friday, we got shifters versus sk. We got SK across the board of Vitality. We got gx. For myself because I am based and a believer, I think Oscar and is going to have it in him. Bickle and Jamata are a little more playing it close to the chest, I'd say with the Vitality prediction. I Think that's the safer one. Jamata. Why do you think it's going to be vitality, though? [01:20:29] Speaker C: I think they're the bad team. [01:20:33] Speaker B: They've only lost in the top two. They've only lost a G2 and Carmine Core. And they've looked solid in their other matches. Maybe dropping some games, but overall still looking solid. So I think. Yeah, Easy, easy. Quick answer. SK Fanatic is Saturday we got SK across the board. Sorry, Fnatic. I had Fnatic at one point, but then I changed it to SK because I was like, no, there's no way G2 versus shifters. We had G2O across the board. Saturday's gonna be slugfest in the first one and then probably just the most boring game of the split in that second game. [01:21:05] Speaker A: Like, oh, my God. [01:21:06] Speaker B: God. Although, Jama, what are the odds? Give me a percentage chance that we [01:21:09] Speaker C: get a funny G2 game, you know, comically. I. I think they do. [01:21:19] Speaker B: And. And that's gonna go into my next prediction for G2 later. Little spoiler there. [01:21:25] Speaker C: I'm doing it. I'm doing it, man. [01:21:27] Speaker B: All right, let's Talk about Sunday McCoy vs. NA. I still hold true that McCoy is going to take the series. I had Navi until I remembered Popey's an and I changed it back to McCoy. Bickle agrees with me. Jamada, you have Navi 21. You're the odd man. Ass. I'm going to ask you again. Why do you have Navi? Taking this one personally? [01:21:47] Speaker C: It's just gut feeling. This. This definitely goes against my. My head analysis for sure. I have a feeling that this is going to be the. It's going to be the make or break week. If Merwin starts, I think that May's going to have his way of him. And that's not to say that Night Slayer would change that, but I think it would change the dynamic maybe of how the. The matchup plays out. But I think it's also the make or break. [01:22:15] Speaker B: Wait, the sub top laner's name is Night Slayer? That's sick. [01:22:20] Speaker C: Fantastic. [01:22:21] Speaker B: Great name. [01:22:22] Speaker C: But then I also think this is the make or break week for El Yoya and. And Jojo. Really. Navi is another team that is very driven by their mid jungle typically. And I think that Jojo, this is like the floor hurdle they have to hop over. And for some reason, I have a gut feeling they're gonna trip here. [01:22:43] Speaker A: I. I think you're dead on with this. I think that if MCOID lose this series, this team explodes. Yeah, like, yeah, obviously you can't make any changes like this in the summer. You're already rolling up the roster. You swap in your top lane if you want. I if they lose the series, this roster does not exist in any way, shape or form similar to what it is next year like you have. I think if they lose, the only person coming back is Elio. I think everyone else is gone. [01:23:14] Speaker C: I agree. [01:23:16] Speaker B: And even then I think we're already past that point. Like I. I would need money. [01:23:20] Speaker A: I'm fairly certain this team is already doomed. I think this is just the nail on the the coffin if they lose. [01:23:26] Speaker B: Yeah. All right. That's going to be an interesting one. I think that's probably the closest matchup that we have. [01:23:33] Speaker C: May I extend the point for a moment? I think would look great in Vitality. Black and yellow. O if he doesn't want to go back home, that would be pretty to na. I think that's a team he would fit in with perfectly. [01:23:48] Speaker A: Oh Jojo. [01:23:49] Speaker B: And not oh, you don't agree with Vetius. [01:23:51] Speaker A: Oh, that's nice. Nice. [01:23:53] Speaker B: That actually would be pretty freaking nice. Oh my dude. The solo. [01:23:57] Speaker C: Sorry. Fiesta. Because actually he's been playing well since he didn't have to play on stage in front of a French crowd versus three of the best mid laners in the league. But like yeah, yeah. I'm just saying. [01:24:07] Speaker B: Well that would be a quick in and out for Fiesta over Vitality. But yeah, yeah. Jojo in the off season is gonna be big because his contract is up at the end of the year. So everyone's kind of hypothesizing where he'll end up Sunday. End of the day. G2 versus Fnatic. El classico, baby. It's G2 for Bickle. It's G2 for Jamada. [01:24:32] Speaker C: It's Fanatic 2. [01:24:34] Speaker B: One for me, baby. [01:24:35] Speaker C: They're gonna do it again. [01:24:35] Speaker B: It's gonna be the funniest thing in the world. The fanatic beats G2 back to back in series in the regular season. It's the most fanatic thing that they could do is just be but still be G2 somehow when it doesn't matter, if it ever matters. They don't beat G2. But when it doesn't matter more chance [01:24:52] Speaker C: G2 give them a pity game. To be honest. [01:24:57] Speaker B: True that. That also, I mean it will be one pity game and then Fnatic will be so rejuvenated by that and so hopeful that they'll actually take the whole series. [01:25:07] Speaker C: There we go. [01:25:07] Speaker B: That's my prediction. Final day is Monday. We have Navi versus Team Heretics. We got Navi across the board. Team Heretics is not a great team. GX versus K. Casey. We got G or sorry, Casey across the board. Despite GX showing signs of life and, like, they could be pushing for that final world spot in EU as one of the teams kind of in the clump for that third place. Casey's. Casey, like, I. I honestly think if any team's going to go undefeated in the regular season in eu, I don't think it's ever happened. Right. Nobody's gone a full undefeated in a best of three. [01:25:39] Speaker C: Definitely not. No, no, no. Yeah. [01:25:42] Speaker B: No. [01:25:42] Speaker C: I don't think a team's done it yet. [01:25:45] Speaker B: It's happened in best of ones, I believe. [01:25:49] Speaker A: Double check. I don't think so, because I know best of three is a very new. [01:25:53] Speaker C: It's very new for us. We were behind the car. [01:25:56] Speaker B: Yeah. But I think that it's gonna happen. I actually think Casey does not drop a game for the rest of this summer split in the regular season, at least. They're. They're just looking so good, dude. So, yeah, there we go. LEC predictions are put in. LCS has already been talked about, so that just about does it for. For this week's episode. Well done. We got through a little bit of a longer one compared to normal, but happy to have all the insight from jama. It's been a while since we've had somebody who actually can analyze LEC at a deeper level. Uh, come on and hang out with us on the podcast. So thank you so much for taking time out of your day over in London time zone, Jamata, if you could request anybody listening along if they wanted to leave us a review. Usually it's like, out of five stars. How many stars would you recommend they leave the review for this episode? [01:26:52] Speaker C: Out of five? [01:26:54] Speaker A: Four. [01:26:54] Speaker C: 4.4. But. [01:27:00] Speaker B: Okay, so 4.4. So it rounded down, I believe would just be four. Can we bump into a 4.5? [01:27:06] Speaker C: Five is. Do you think. [01:27:07] Speaker B: Do you think that's enough to ask? Okay, cool. Because then if we round up, boom, that's five stars, baby. I like that math. I like that math a lot. If you could leave us a review. It really does help us get more notice as a podcast. Shout out to any everybody who has left a review. Again, shout out to everybody who helps support the podcast financially through the Merch Store and the Patreon. Shout out to both of my co hosts here for this week's episode. It was a lot of fun. And shout out to you, the listener for sticking through to this point of the episode. Just know that we love you and we'll see you next time. [01:27:35] Speaker C: Bye bye. [01:27:36] Speaker A: Peace. [01:27:39] Speaker B: Oh, yes, Daddy, that was a much louder whip than normal. I think I had the dial turned up.
