[00:00:26] Speaker B: should be.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: Oh my God. Stupid marches through and manages to the table with Messiah tanking it up. I do not believe he just believe.
I cannot understand this game.
Unicorns of love. It wasn't a mutant. They're Nexus.
Hello and welcome to episode 618, I believe of the League Rundown. This is your 2026 summer split LEC and LCS week two review and week three preview.
And I think that there was some kind of like time travel shenanigans going on for that last episode. I'm confused as to what year it is right now. I think it's 2026. But either way, this episode is lovingly entitled. Perfect Predictions make for boring leagues. I'm your host Kangas. And joining me out of the time machine we have up first out of the can, it's Badger.
[00:01:36] Speaker B: Wait, wait. How did I get here?
[00:01:38] Speaker C: How did you.
[00:01:38] Speaker A: How did we get here?
[00:01:40] Speaker B: I was. I was in my. In my. In the upstairs of my parents house the last time.
[00:01:44] Speaker A: We were.
[00:01:45] Speaker B: What?
[00:01:46] Speaker A: How did. It had 13 years pass so quickly. That's crazy.
[00:01:50] Speaker B: What do you mean? I got married and moved to Columbus, Ohio. What the hell?
[00:01:57] Speaker A: You know what? It was all a dream. It was all a dream.
[00:02:00] Speaker B: It's one of those like crazy Twilight as they say.
[00:02:02] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. Also to talk about the top spinning, we got Mr. Mizelle Pl.
[00:02:07] Speaker C: Word up magazine.
That's what you were supposed to say.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: Oh, remember magazines
[00:02:16] Speaker C: not excited to talk about League of Legos. It's gonna be a good time. Week one's kicking off. I mean LPL is already about to go into week three. But you. You know what I mean, it's good times.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: Week one of LCK kicked off, right? Wasn't that a super late start for them, Badger?
[00:02:29] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, it was.
[00:02:30] Speaker A: Yeah. So there we go. There was a.
[00:02:31] Speaker B: Interesting in Korea right now. I'm just saying.
[00:02:36] Speaker A: I mean you would always say that. I feel like you're always the best
[00:02:40] Speaker B: team in the world right now.
[00:02:41] Speaker A: You know what?
[00:02:42] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:02:43] Speaker A: All right, well maybe we'll talk about that later. I don't know if I can emotionally handle that message. Shout out to anybody who enjoyed the last episode. Though there are a few people in the community. Discord that shouted us out. It was super fun. Just get Duffy back.
I Keep forgetting a badger. Was it your idea initially or was it Sam's?
[00:03:01] Speaker B: I think it was Sam's because I did not propose anything about it right away.
[00:03:06] Speaker A: It was in my head. It was one of you saw means. I'm just gonna give credit to Sam that he shot a message in the host chat like, hey, we should do a throwback episode for the League Classic show match.
Ideally, we could have gotten that done before the previous episode, but, like, we just didn't have time to record it, so we got it in when we could. But a lot of people thought it was funny and appreciated having Duffy back hosting and then some of the old cast back on as well. So. But now it's time to get back into the future. Oh, my goodness. We got electricity. We got. We got clouds.
And nine of them, in fact.
Also liquid is there and whatever the hell Fnatic is, I still can't tell. I think it's just letters, I'm pretty sure.
[00:03:55] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:56] Speaker A: But yeah, we got some League of Legends in the modern day to talk about. No longer classic. Even though we are spending a lot of time playing that one in our free time, our jobs are still about a league. Let's talk about news first. Around the horn, the big one. This is the huge roster news of this past week. I had heard wind of this past last week's episode, but I thankfully did not leak anything.
A big player returning. Mazel.
The Dardoch is back, baby.
[00:04:30] Speaker C: It's so exciting. I. I know everybody's already, like, painting him in a light and everything, but I do truly believe Dardoch has changed for the better and a lot as a player, but also outside of the game. He's become like a huge mentor to so many different teams and especially in the collegiate system, like, literally every team in the top eight of collegiate, we're talking about how they've all been kind of graced by Dardoch, either teachings or being able to scrum against them and learn things like that. So it's been really, really cool to see his personal growth, but also the fact that he's still kind of wheeling and dealing on the Rift.
He kind of was leading the Meta, and he actually talked about it in an interview we had with him at the end of the split in their semifinals win about how it was kind of cool being like the jungler in charge in terms of what people were picking and what. What people thought were good. And he was willing to kind of go into niche picks as well.
But I do think he brings a lot of leadership he brings a lot of structure. I think that's something he's really worked on, is how he's perceived in that role. Because it's been nothing but flying colors from so many people around him in terms of what they provided, like, what he's provided to them. But also on the Rift, the direction and the teamwork that he's really facilitating. So I'm excited for the Big D.
I'm sad for Xu. It does mean that Xu is retiring. He'll be moving over to, like, TFT and Riftbound for the most part.
And I always really appreciated his competitive spirit. Just didn't. Didn't work out for him, unfortunately. But still exciting news for Dardoch.
[00:06:04] Speaker A: Yeah, definitely agree with that sentiment. I think it's. Xu is the type of player where I think a lot of times N A players, you never know if it's the same people making these statements. But there's all these arguments online of like, oh, promote more NA players. But then there's always these arguments of, oh, these NA rookies suck. And then like, oh, after a year they suck. Why are they still in the league? Get them out of here. And then three years later they retire. And it's like, yeah, I think Xu's the type of player that I was really hopeful for his ability and what he would be able to accomplish. I enjoyed watching his games and cheering him along. He was not able to ultimately kind of crack out of that kind of bottom team finishing placement throughout his career. But I think it's still.
I want to get to a point where we can start to celebrate players a little bit more. And I'll even say to myself, I think I'm part of the. The problem there when it comes to players that are NA or EU players that are kind of bottom of the barrel of just being like, oh, yeah, they're not good. Like, they could be replaced. Well, it's like, well, by whom? You know, usually it's imports that would come in and replace those types of players. So sometimes it can be like, monkey's paw situation.
[00:07:12] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:12] Speaker C: Badger.
[00:07:13] Speaker A: I want to get your quick thoughts, because this is huge. This is probably the biggest roster news that's happened in na.
I. I don't know, maybe like this decade. I'm trying to think maybe like, doublelift going back to TSM. That would have been bigger. Like Bjergsen, 200 thieves. That was big. But, like, Dardoch returning, this is. This is the most exciting Russian news that I can think of in quite a few years.
[00:07:39] Speaker B: Yeah, that definitely. That's that's definitely the biggest roster news that I can think of in the last, you know, six years at this point.
[00:07:49] Speaker A: Well, it sounds like you're being facetious. Can you think of others? Like it seems like this like Dardog dude, it's fucking Dardoch.
[00:07:56] Speaker B: The, the. The lion team this year getting inspired. I. No, I think this is really cool that he's getting another chance. I mean cuz everyone knows him as this guy that's been very toxic. But he spent so much time like in Tier 2 grinding it out, just reforming his image.
And I know that I'm pretty sure you guys have said he's done interviews in the past where he's basically like kind of atoned for his past like toxicity that he had back in like 2015, 2016, like Breaking Point era.
So it's really cool to see him get another chance.
It's. I mean it's sad to see Xu go because like I never thought he got a fair shake at, at having the potential to be on a good team. But yeah, no, Dardoch coming back is cool, but I again, I don't know what Dignitas is doing at this point. At the same time.
[00:08:53] Speaker A: Yeah, I know like to some of what you were just saying there, it was less of Dardoch and more of what his other teammates that have played with him have kind of said in interviews that have at least swayed a lot of the opinions of the NACL guys. Am I right there? Mazel. That's kind of like the character, you know, quotes from his teammates that have given a lot of hope as like how he's changed.
And in terms of Dignitas, I actually got to be on the Digging Deep podcast with the GM Jonathan this past week and there was I. One of the questions, I actually pressed him a little bit more on it because I felt like he kind of talked around it at first, but then he gave a much better answer once we, we, no pun intended, dug deeper.
But the question was basically like why now? Why are you replacing your Jungler ahead of week three as opposed to in the off season where you brought Denethor on. Like why couldn't you have identified this problem?
And the answer he gave to paraphrase was he had a conversation with Xu and Xu convinced him that he was going to have the work ethic and he was going to turn around the performance and he was. Then Jonathan was going to give him one more shot or one more chance to prove himself. Then quickly leading into week one, before week one games, Jonathan Started to identify, no, this actually isn't going to work out. I don't think that he's actually gonna improve to the point that we need.
So then they started looking at changing Jungler after week one and doing the tryouts leading into week two, where then Xu played. We'll talk about how those games went. And then now the change happening here. So weird timeline. And I then put John on the spot and ask, all right, like, what's. What's your lesson here? Because, like, as a gm, that's kind of on you. Like you were convinced by a player in the off season when an easier move would have been able to be made, but then before games even started, you identified, no, this isn't actually going to work out. And his takeaway was basically he's just got to be more pessimistic and believe his players less.
Which was really funny of an answer. But like, also, I gotta get it in a way, like it's. It's a tough spot to be in. I don't envy a GM's role in having to make those types of roster decisions.
Yeah, we'll see what Dardoc's able to do for Dig. I'm not super confident in how much he will elevate them to be like a title contender, but I think they could maybe move to a playoff contender and shoot for that like sixth place spot.
But yeah, we will talk more about expectations later. One other thing, roster news that we've been kind of keeping our eye on. Mazel. Are there any updates on the bin situation over in the lpl? Because we talked about it a bit on previous episodes. Has any anything changed? Has been still benched. Is he playing? What's going on?
[00:11:44] Speaker C: He's not playing as of yet. Wenbo is still playing all of the series so far. There was like a lot of talk when Flandre got replaced by Breathe on Al that Flandreau was gonna come do a deal and the rumors were that like the deal had petered out because Flandreau wanted way too much money.
But then that BLG was kind of desperate and they were going to do it anyways. Nothing has happened in that situation. So Flandre is still teamless and then Ben is still on the back burner, I guess.
No update. And they play the day after tomorrow, so we won't know until that night if Ben is starting again. But I'm not gonna lie, they've been pretty good without Ben. So they, they're undefeated. They're 60 right now. Their last two wins over we, who had been surging and doing pretty well, and JDG, who's not doing well at all, were two zeros and they've beaten every team but Top Esports in the first round robin. So I don't know what's going to happen with that.
[00:12:51] Speaker A: Yeah, well, it's crazy that Ben got benched in the first place, especially the circumstances around it, but interesting that they're actually doing well without him.
[00:13:01] Speaker C: It's crazy what happens when you don't have to sometimes divulge resources to a top laner because they have ego and want to carry the game.
It's crazy when you play around the likes of Knight, who is literally the best mid in the entire world right now, and. And Viper. It's kind of. It's kind of nuts. Kind of nuts.
[00:13:20] Speaker A: Kind of nuts.
[00:13:20] Speaker C: I will give it to Shun though. Shun's been carrying like crazy. I mean, he's just been playing all of the Assassin Junglers and it's been really cool. So what.
[00:13:28] Speaker A: What do you think? BLG impact? Just a thought. Just.
[00:13:32] Speaker C: Nope, I'm good. I watched those 10 games. I'm good.
[00:13:37] Speaker A: Yeah, okay, fair enough. Fair enough. Well, thanks for the update there any other LPL updates while we're at it? Like, what's going on in the league? What week are we in?
Defeated.
[00:13:46] Speaker C: Yeah. So we're going into week three.
There's only five weeks total in the regular season. We play four out of five days is three best of threes. So a lot of games to watch and a lot of games to be a part of.
BLG still the best in league. Anyone's legends doing better now with Breathe. Breathe actually has been a breath of fresh air. Pun intended. Top Esports still looking really good. I think they still have some question marks at duo at support, but Jackie Love's been doing pretty good and TN's been okay. We's been looking pretty good. JDG is looking real bad and then EDG look like they might not even win a a series.
They've only won one game out of 13 and it's been pretty tough for EDG, but JJ just got signed from Weibo because that's another thing that's all group Ascend stuff. EDG is going to try to make a run with Dead who is coming back after having won a world championship with the org from Weibo who are crashing and burning in group nirvana. They are 02. They literally only have six games to play totals and they have to make it top two in the group and both the top two teams are 2, 0 already.
So Weibo is starting to ring the alarm bells here and try to figure out what's going on because they have risk of not even making it to play ins, let alone not even being in contention for Worlds, which would be absolutely insane.
Nip and IG been doing really good. Rookie in the Shire back. They're looking pretty damn good.
It's been really fun to watch. LNG sucks. It's been really tough.
Yeah, that's the update. That's about it.
[00:15:29] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:15:29] Speaker C: Two week three, I guess two and a half weeks left.
[00:15:33] Speaker A: Two and a half weeks. That's a short season.
[00:15:35] Speaker C: Regular season, but it's a lot of games because it's still double round robin and group ascend. So it's 16 games for the group ascend teams within three, four. Four weeks. Four and a half weeks.
[00:15:46] Speaker A: So many games.
[00:15:47] Speaker C: Every team is playing like three, three series every week. We've, we've had a little fun time trying to decide what teams teams prep for because you know, I mean you have. You literally most of the time it's a game. You have one day break and then you take play two days in a row. So it's like we've tried to decide like, okay, so do you prep for the first team? Especially if it's like a good team and then you just don't prep for the other two teams. You prep for the third team.
[00:16:10] Speaker A: That's funny. Yeah.
Yeah. That's a lot of work for the coaches. My God.
Well, best of luck to them.
We'll see if it yields the best teams coming out of LPL and if they can challenge at Worlds.
While we're at it, Badger, give me an update to what's going on in the LCK League because they just had their first weekend, right?
[00:16:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:16:31] Speaker B: So their first weekend they have Legend and Rise. Kind of the same format as the lpl. They're split into two groups. It's the top five from the first part of the season and the bottom five from the other part of the season.
Update everybody. The DN Supers have won a game.
[00:16:49] Speaker A: Oh my God.
[00:16:50] Speaker B: Or they've won a match. Their 18 match losing streak has finally come to an end.
Hanma Life is 03 to start the group kind of wild.
Damwon Kia or the Artist formerly known as Damwon Kia is currently the hottest team in the LCK right now.
I mean outside of kt. Well, I guess it's KT and DAM one after KT shipped, aiming off to off to the KRX Gulag and it's crazy also.
[00:17:24] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:17:26] Speaker B: So yeah, aiming's down to or aiming got traded to KRX and they traded Jiwoo back to the team. Jiwoo is playing an academy so that they can promote Fenrir to be the main roster ad and his first thing he did was 2o T1 and very convincing fashion on night one and then beat Hanwa in their next series and they play Gen G on Friday morning. So all the teams in legend are 15 and 5 or 15 and 6 except for D plus Kia there. It's sitting at 13 and 7 right now. And then the rise group is just a cluster of mid.
So.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: So when. When the DN Supers won their first series and what was their last streak again?
[00:18:14] Speaker B: 18 matches in a row.
[00:18:16] Speaker A: 18 matches in a row. So when they first won their first match after an 18 loss streak, did they go gamboling off the stage?
[00:18:24] Speaker B: They. They were very ecstatic. Yes.
[00:18:27] Speaker A: They cavorted off the stage. Maybe then.
[00:18:30] Speaker B: God damn it.
[00:18:32] Speaker C: So they're.
[00:18:33] Speaker B: Their record on the season for series is 2 and 18 with a 10% and then their game score is 5 and 37. So they have a negative 32 for the game differential still. So it's nothing to write home about.
[00:18:45] Speaker A: Oh, wins a window. You know, what if I. The longest win streak in the history of league started with one win. Okay.
[00:18:51] Speaker B: Yes, that's right. But what if I told you that there are 19 games in the game differential column behind KRX who is number nine in the league technically right now?
[00:19:04] Speaker A: That I would say that looks pretty bad.
[00:19:06] Speaker B: Yeah, it's pretty bad when it goes. When it's 17, 20, 18, 18 and then five wins for a team.
[00:19:14] Speaker A: Yeah. You're gonna look real foolish though when the poopers win every game for the rest of the season and then win every game at Worlds. That's going to be crazy. And then they just don't lose for the rest of time and they overtake T1's total win records at world.
[00:19:29] Speaker C: Did you. Did you see that funny meme post of like the words that represent like team names turned into what represents them as a team? It was like T1's in first place and so how the fuck did I get here?
The other one was like hle. It's like chovy and four enters or something like that? Yeah.
[00:19:51] Speaker A: What did it say for the poopers?
[00:19:52] Speaker C: Genji. Genji. Genji.
[00:19:55] Speaker A: Did it just call them the poopers? It might have just called them the poopers.
[00:19:58] Speaker C: No, I don't remember. What? They're a couple of them got samey samey. But they were fun.
[00:20:02] Speaker A: Yeah. Funny. You know, meme template though ripe for the picking for. For stealing.
[00:20:10] Speaker C: All right, cool.
[00:20:10] Speaker A: Thank you for the LCK update. One other thing that happened before we get into LEC and LCS this past week is we have our first Worlds team.
It is August 5th that we're recording this and we had this team going into the weekend. I believe it might have been on Saturday or Friday. Whenever the news drops. The beginning of the month.
And welcome to Worlds Team Secret Whales. That's right. They have already guaranteed enough points at minimum to go to Worlds and represent the lcp. That is goofy, absurd and frankly ridiculous.
But hey, shout out to Team Secret Wells. They.
[00:20:52] Speaker C: They made.
[00:20:53] Speaker A: It was. Was that whale noises I was hearing from you, Misselle, by the way?
[00:20:57] Speaker C: Maybe.
Okay.
[00:21:00] Speaker A: You have to do them really quiet. Actually, they were kind of quiet. So that what you were like telling a secret? It was like a whale secret. That was good.
[00:21:07] Speaker C: You know what that how whales tells. Tell secrets.
[00:21:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:21:10] Speaker A: How do whales tell secrets? Quietly.
I feel like there's a. That's a setup for a much funnier joke if I was a wittier guy, but that's what I got.
All right.
Talk about Lucas and Lek, baby. Because we had two long weekends. Or not, I guess two long weekends, but a weekend of games. One of the regions had four days with two best of threes on each day. That was the lec. Of course. That's gonna be the schedule for the next two weeks as well. After this. Actually, I think the next three weeks. I'm pretty sure it's four weeks in a row of the schedule.
Let me just confirm that. Actually I have it up here. Week four has four games. Week five has only three. Okay, so that was week two, three and then four. We' have the four day schedule. Then it's back to three day schedules for the rest of this. Wait, am I just lying again?
Am I just lying to everybody? 1, 2, 3. Wait, what am I, what am I
[00:22:03] Speaker B: looking at me when I lie. Oh my God.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: I'm looking at LEC Spring. That's what's happening. I was like, this is not correct in the slightest.
Okay, now we're gonna look at it live.
Update everybody. This is very professional. Much.
[00:22:16] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:22:17] Speaker C: Doing it live.
[00:22:17] Speaker A: We're doing, doing it live.
[00:22:18] Speaker C: We're doing it live.
[00:22:20] Speaker A: Week three, four and five will all have the four game schedule. There we go. Or four day schedule. Two games a day, meaning eight total matches. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Yep, there we go. That's how math works. Eight total matches a weekend. LCS is still only going to be on the two matches a day for two days that I've just been throwing numbers out randomly here as I'm scrambling to try and figure out where I'm going with this. Let's just start with LCS guys.
What happened this past weekend, Mazel. Break it down for me. First off the standings as they currently are and then also who played this past weekend.
The standings are in the dock by the way, if that's easy for you to reference.
Right above the week one.
[00:23:03] Speaker C: Oh, I was muted. Oh God.
Oopsies.
Well, so starting from the top in first place it's lion and Team Liquid. Both are two.
It's a Lion 40 game score too.
[00:23:22] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:23:24] Speaker C: And then the zoo stops because then we got. We got the soup or the sauce.
More, more soupy. Maybe the Stew. We got four teams tied. In third place it's Cloud 9, Fly Quest, Sentinels and Shopify Rebellion.
Although their games scores are a little bit different, they're all 1:1 in series scores. And then we have Dignitas in disguise rounding out in seventh place. But maybe looking to make some changes for Dignitas. Maybe they'll make the run. We had four games this week.
We had two on Saturday, two on Sunday. Like always it was Cloud9 versus Dignitas. They took them down to one. That was unfortunately the last time we will see Xu in the LCS. Then we saw FlyQuest take DSG down to zero to finish out the day. The young guns are starting to rev up a little bit. And then on Sunday Lion.
I was going to say something a little bit more mean but did something very not nice to Shopify rebellion. It was 2:0 and then Team Liquid
[00:24:30] Speaker A: looking for is bent them over.
[00:24:32] Speaker C: I was going to say kill but you know, murder one of the two. Team Liquid then took out Sentinels 20 to make the last day a little anticlimactic but still very dominant from the top two teams in the lcs.
[00:24:45] Speaker A: All sweeps on that last day dominate domination from the top teams. The name of this episode was a reference to the fact of like you just kind of predicted the teams higher in the standings from like spring split and then week one of their respective regions and you got the correct results.
We all were 100 on our predictions except for Badger and Bickle who had GX over sk. That was the one that I kind of took a chance on and got rewarded for over an lec. But yeah, like, if you just looked at this on paper and said, yeah, these are the likely outcomes. All the likely outcomes happened. Except for, I would argue, Badger C9 losing a game to Dignitas. That was supposed to happen.
[00:25:27] Speaker B: I thought they were gonna. I thought someone was just gonna, like, explode off the planet at that point when they lost that game. I was just like, oh, boy, shit's gonna be broken. Dom is gonna revert back to old ways. But no, unfortunately, maybe Corky Top wasn't the play.
I don't think Corky Top was the issue with that game. But maybe Quirky Top and Camille support wasn't to play that game. They.
They. They looked good for a while, and then they stopped looking good.
[00:25:59] Speaker C: And
[00:26:01] Speaker B: Palafaker and FBI open up, had a wonderful performance.
And then game Tube and Game 3 happened, and Dignitas kind of started to show their true colors.
I should.
[00:26:20] Speaker A: Yeah.
Unfortunately, Denethor was not able to keep up with Thanatos throughout the rest of the series. Did like the. I mean, with a wacky pick like Corky Top, Lane Dental, I think, was still able to come back as the game played on and didn't tilt off the face of the planet.
And then in game three, he at least kind of fought back. But game two especially was rough from Denethor. He's still getting his sea legs at the Tier one level. And Thanatos is such an oppressive top laner. Like, oh, my God. I think that's got to be the hardest operator for Den of Thor to play against. So I think it was the result. I From a player like Dennis Thor this early in his career, but I was actually happy with some of the things he was doing and how he didn't get completely blown out by Thanatos in just the 1v1. The big thing for me, though, was Tactical and Loki really stepping up. Tactical played the Callista. That was pretty exciting. I haven't seen that It'd be, like, super popular, but Tactical is known for it.
Still playing close in tier 2 because I know back when he was, like, in Tier one still, he was known for being like, yeah, it was being
[00:27:26] Speaker C: banned away from him during playoffs and stuff.
[00:27:29] Speaker A: And I think we got to see why. He looked very, very solid on that. And Dignitas got a little rocked later on in the series, but, hey, they got one. And that has led to.
I don't know how much everyone pays attention to some of the graphics we make on the broadcast side, but I was the one that had pitched the Palafox summer stuff because I was like, you know what, I'm gonna take a shot that I. I think Pal Fox has actually been on an improvement arc and this summer he'll look even better than he did in winter split or the. The lock in tournament rather. And so I, I coined it Palafox Summer because they result the whole like dig summer, dig season, things like that. But I was like, what if we just focus on Palafox this time? I'm now changing that to Palafox. Game one, baby. He's good for the one game and bop it off looking really, really good.
And then kind of gets less and less impactful as the games go on. And also becomes a bit of a liability as the games go on. Specifically that game three on the Anivia. Like this was a composition that you need coordination for. It was like Anivia plus Jace and Palafox. And a couple of crucial moments was the one that kind of stepped up and got picked. There was a specific moment in mid lane where I'm thinking about like Vulcan walking up. Palafox is trying to wall and stun him and Vulcan's like, okay, I'm just gonna keep and then handshake you into the team and then we win.
And that was kind of like the straw that broke the camel's back for dig. But it was cool that they got to get one win at the very least.
Badger, what were some of the other matches from this past weekend in LCS that you think even warrant talking about? Because a lot of these felt very stompy and a lot of the rest of this series were just kind of stomps.
[00:29:15] Speaker B: I mean, we almost saw a perfect game from FlyQuest. Like.
[00:29:19] Speaker A: Yep,
[00:29:22] Speaker B: I. I think that's the one that warrants the most conversation.
[00:29:27] Speaker A: How close to actually 15.2 K gold lead?
[00:29:32] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:29:32] Speaker A: 29 minutes.
[00:29:34] Speaker B: Yeah, pretty good. Pretty good.
[00:29:36] Speaker A: Masu 111 and 9. Griffin 911 11. So just inverted there mirrors of each other. That was a schlacking. Game one though, was actually pretty banger for this one in terms of like Fly Quest winning and then this big surges, big comeback fight from dsg. They're able to get the two Barons in a row and they're in the base of Fly Quest pushing for it. And then it's not quite able to to find the way to close it out.
But man, it shows the DSG do have some fight in them and will be able to kind of weather some storms. But then game two, it's like all the gas had kind of emptied out of the tank and that was.
[00:30:18] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:30:19] Speaker A: Fly Quest is kind of walking over them.
Also a big thing that I'm still going to be keeping my eye on just because this is something that I felt was hammered home on the broadcast side from the narrative standpoint, but still kind of is the narrative for DSG right now is they got to find a way to get Sajed out of Lane with a lead.
And in the Mage meta, I was worried for him in terms of like, is he gonna be able to do this at all if he's playing against all these mages? Masu only played the 1 Ziggs game, and I think S' Jet actually did look better on the Kai' Sa because this is a very comfort pick for him. But my eyes are. I'm still just gonna be watching him, especially how the meta shapes up, because if mages continue to be played a lot Bot Lane, I think S' Jet is going to continue to struggle even more. And it's just so tough because I. I was hopeful for him to look better this summer, but the. The man, this whole, like, meta shift does not help him out improve as an ad carry against 80 carries in the tier one league when no one's playing freaking 80 carries. So, yeah, poor one out for USAJED there.
Yeah, I'm. I'm just gonna say Lion Shopify Game one was close. Game two was not. That was kind of the trend of a lot of these in terms of, like, game one being competitive in the game to the team that was just kind of like losing harder.
Shopify.
Oh, man, that vein Top Lane game was so close. And then Fudge just gets picked by Saint at the very end. Who Saint had an insane series.
Mizell, I don't know if we've gotten too much of your thoughts on this. I'm trying to remember the last time we, like, really talked about line and expectations. So I just want to hear again in case we haven't gotten it yet inspired and lion and like, Armeo now subbing in instead.
What was your expectation for lion without inspired and like, are you shocked that they have not dropped a game yet despite now having Armao play in the jungle?
[00:32:17] Speaker C: I mean, I think it's working exactly how a drill sergeant would love to see his platoon work after he needs to take a little bit of a break. He's drilled that into their brains, literally engraved it on the. The rim, the rumples in their brain so, you know, they're still functioning as if he's there with the ratatouille brain.
But no, it's it's been cool. I know they've joked about it a little bit like we don't need you inspired. But I think his lessons have definitely been instilled and I think that that actually shows a lot of positive growth for the team. I I still don't have expectations for Armao. I I don't, I don't think we need to. I think it's very obviously a short stint, but I'm glad to see that the team still functions with with another jungler. It's really nice because it shows the
[00:33:04] Speaker A: lessons learned and it just shows how powerful their solo lanes are. Like Saint, he might be the best mid laner in the region right now in N.A.
this guy's putting on clinics.
I know the re game. There's like two mishaps. Like the the big one was like the big cool moment was when he caught Fudge from Fog of War on the vein to kind of just like win the team fight before it even started. But then there were two other moments where like he tries to predict a flash mid and charms in a kind of funky direction and then dies. And then also there's a time where he's like over the Dragon Wall and trying to fish for another like Fog of War play and isn't able to get it. So it's like burn his flash. But like he's still looking for something. You can tell when he does these flubs. It's not like oh he just fat fingered or oh what the hell is he doing? That was ridiculous. It's like no, you can tell he's clearly trying to outplay, are trying to find a unique flank and either he spotted or you know, the outplay doesn't work because the opponent didn't flash where he thought they were going to flash or you know, whatever these reasons are. So I'm very excited for for Saint going forward. And Doko is also looking great Berserker and I was looking great. Yeah, I like the the drill sergeant analogy though. That's very funny. And then Team Liquid Sentinels happened as well. All right, series to watch. I would say surprisingly dig C9 game one. I highly recommend that one. And then honestly game ones of C9 dig, DSG, fly and Lion Shopify. I think game ones of all those would be pretty fun and watch highlights
[00:34:34] Speaker B: of everything else because you won't miss.
[00:34:37] Speaker A: So I'll talk about next week. We got four more series ahead of us on Saturday. It's going to start off with C9 versus DSG. Predictions wise, no one's got C9 losing to disguise. They dropped a game to Dignitas, but that is Dignitas game one. They're like the best team in the world in game one.
IFC920 Badger, C920 Mezelle. C921 Mezelle. Do you have a. A hunch as to how DSG picks up their one game win? How's that going to happen?
You might be muted again. Oh, okay.
[00:35:10] Speaker C: No, I'm thinking. He's thinking, thought into. It just happens, man.
[00:35:17] Speaker A: It just happens. You know, sometimes lightning strikes. I watched a movie.
[00:35:21] Speaker C: It only has to it once.
[00:35:22] Speaker A: I watch a Japanese movie from a director for his first name, but something Kurosawa that just came out recently. Not the Kurosawa that did like all the famous 60s Japanese movies, if you've heard of him, but a different Kurosawa. And there was a scene where it's a dude is about to like tell everybody the juicy details of like the traitorous warg thing and then he gets hit by lightning and it's like, what the hell? And yeah, that could happen. Maybe that happens to C9. You never know.
That might be what it takes for DSU to get a win there. Sentinels versus Shopify is actually kind of a banger or at least has the potential to be a banger. I think it's gonna go three games. All of us have this going. Three games. We all have Sentinels except for Mazel has Shopify Rebellion going to one.
So we can talk a little bit about that. But I'll give my thoughts first.
I'm worried that this does turn into Sentinels smashing Shopify and it could just be a 20 for sentinels.
[00:36:16] Speaker C: For.
[00:36:16] Speaker A: For me, I think that Shop Fire Rebellion look a lot better with Zazel. But Sentinels have looked like pretty good even in their game. Lost like dignitas in Week 1. Yes, they lost Game 1, but they were winning for the majority of it is the same story as a C9 game. Then they smashed the next two and against team Liquid.
Team Liquid are just like on a heater right now. And Sentinels are still showing that they have some firepower when it comes to ad carry and jungle positions. I'm worried that Shopify just gets their head kind of rattled with Hambock jungle style and that Sentinels just pull out wild cards and draft as well.
Because like Rahel's the one that is playing hyper carries bot lane as opposed to the mages.
Bvoy has been kind of like playing the zigs and then 80 carries things like that.
But this is important for Shopify because if they want to get that top five Sentinels is the kind of like line holder for top five. We got the top four and Fly Quest team, Liquid, lion and C9. But that fifth place is just kind of Ben Sentinels and they're. They're owned Spot Shopify need a punch up to take it. Miselle, why do you have Shopify taking the series?
The beard. The power of the beard.
[00:37:32] Speaker C: The power of the beard.
[00:37:33] Speaker A: Overwhelm the senses of the sentinels.
[00:37:35] Speaker C: Players.
[00:37:37] Speaker A: Day 2 Dignitas vs lion kicks things off on Sunday. We all have. Oh my God. We don't all have Lion. I forgot. Me and Badger have Lion 2. One based. Take that. They drop a game. I think that Darda coming in will provide some craziness and some wild card power for Dignitas. Also it's Stardock versus Armeo. Ridiculous to think that we have that in 2026.
But Mazel actually has dig 2.
[00:38:03] Speaker C: 1.
[00:38:03] Speaker A: So Mazel is by far the spiciest prediction so far. Far this week.
Badger, I'm gonna give you the defense for. For Lion. I. I don't even know if we need a defense for lying. How does lion lose their one game?
[00:38:16] Speaker B: How about that Badger Palafox Game one. Obviously pal.
[00:38:21] Speaker A: Fox, game one gotta push the narrative.
[00:38:23] Speaker B: You know.
[00:38:23] Speaker A: Mizel, how does Dignitas possibly win a second game? Because we know that they're winning that first game, but how did they win a second?
[00:38:29] Speaker C: I think Dardoc pulls out like an asses or a mundo or something.
[00:38:33] Speaker A: Oh, I would like an Asses jungle. That would be spicy.
Okay, cool. Fly Quest versus TL ends the weekend. This is on paper the closest match. It's two of the top four teams versus each other. Sentinel Shopify maybe is going to be close as well.
I got TL2. Oh. Badger and Mazel both have TL2 one. So we are.
Me and Badger are actually like straight up aligned in all of our takes except for this last one.
[00:39:01] Speaker C: Just the.
[00:39:01] Speaker A: The game score being a little different. But we still agree in all the. The matches going the same direction.
Badger, how does FlyQuest get their one game win?
[00:39:13] Speaker B: That's a very good question that I did not put very much thought into because I don't think off of logic, I think off of vibes at this point. You know, we're just throwing numbers on a sheet.
Exactly. That's fine. It's all just numbers in a. In a word document.
[00:39:27] Speaker C: That's all it is.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: None of this means Anything, guys? Yeah, we got 100 prediction rate last weekend or last. Last episode. But it's. It's all luck. You know, we're just flipping coins here.
All right, well, that's lcs. That would be week three. A reminder that week three, four, and five will all be back in the closet. The howling abyss, as we call it, with no city studio audience. But week six will be in Mexico City at the LLA studio.
So there will be Spanish crowd as well as live teams there. It's gonna be a very fun one.
Mark your calendars though, because it does mean that the week five will be the kind of bottom four teams against each other. Outside of Shopify is going to Mexico. Fly quest is not.
But that means we get like dig disguised. We get sentinels dig or sentinels disguise. Things like that happen on week five. So week five, we, in terms of, like, competitive quality of games gonna be low. But in terms of rich memory, gonna be pretty high. So two weeks. Still look forward to LEC across the pond. Also happened this past weekend. Badger, give me the standings from top to bottom. Who's doing well, who's sucking. And then also, let's go over the games as they happen. So start with the standings.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: Yeah. So this feels surreal to read, but Carmine core are in first place at 5. 0.
We're two weeks into the season and they're 5. 0 already.
[00:40:57] Speaker A: They'll only dropped a game.
[00:40:58] Speaker B: Only dropped a single game like five series into. You know what it is? What it is. G2 in second place at 2 and 1. Vitality 2 and 2 and third.
Navi and SK both one one in fourth and fifth respectively.
McOil is sitting at 2 and 3.
That one's the. That's the other one. That's just like, what the hell?
[00:41:22] Speaker A: They had a bad first week.
[00:41:24] Speaker B: Yeah, they had a bad first week. Kind of bounced back a little bit this week.
Let's see. Fnatic Giant X and shifters and heretics are tied for, well, the bottom back four spots.
Fnatic 0 and 1, Giant X 0 and 1. Shifters, Owen 2, Heretics Owen 2. So, yeah, kind of records all over the schedule because they don't play an equal amount of games in Europe.
[00:41:50] Speaker A: So I mean, they will play an equal number by the end of the split.
[00:41:55] Speaker B: This is how weird right now it
[00:41:56] Speaker A: kind of was last split as well. It got a little janky. And because they started with the roadshow, it was cool to have opening weekend be in front of the live France crowd and have the best teams there. That was the plus. Side. The negative side is that now we have this ridiculous atrocity of a standings. We're like, yeah, it's. It's just kind of all over the place. McOi and Casey have both played five games. Fanatics played one after two weeks or matches, I guess not games. But yeah, it's like that's. That's just silly.
It'll even out later on though. So in terms of the series that happened because there's so many games there. Mizelle, how about you give me the series that happened from Friday to Monday?
Did we lose? Mazel again. We might have. Oh, is he. Is he muted?
[00:42:50] Speaker B: So.
[00:42:51] Speaker A: All right, let's go badger then.
[00:42:53] Speaker B: Give it to me on day one.
Vitality. One two one over or two zero over? Heretics apologies.
Then get it right. Right at the ship with a two one over shifters SKB, giant X2.1 and the upset. Air quotes of the week. I don't know.
[00:43:20] Speaker A: Kind of. I mean, this was one where if you just look at the standings from last split. Casey.
[00:43:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:43:25] Speaker A: Or sorry. GX did better than sk.
But then SK with their roster move with slow queue coming in for leader. I think it's opened up YOPA and Wonder to have better performances as well because they don't have kind of like a crutch in the mid lane now.
[00:43:43] Speaker B: Yeah.
So we SKB, giant X2O.
Casey took care of business with a two zero against Navi G2O happened versus SK.
MCOI continuing the bounce back week with a two one over Fnatic shifters beating Navi the. The. The outcome that we didn't expect.
[00:44:09] Speaker A: You got that reverse. It's navi2o over shifters.
[00:44:13] Speaker B: Did I? Oh, that's right. Because we got the game right. It's. Yeah. No. Whoops.
[00:44:17] Speaker C: Whoops.
[00:44:18] Speaker B: Yeah. Because shifters is two zero and two. Yeah. No, not be too old. We all.
[00:44:21] Speaker A: Shifters is. They're. They're bad.
[00:44:23] Speaker B: Right. Shifters is the shitters this. Yeah. And then Casey finishing out the week with a 20 over the heretics.
[00:44:34] Speaker A: Yep. And that was a lot of games, let me tell you. Oh my God. The fact a lot of them were two O's helped out, but only about half of them were. Were two O's.
[00:44:44] Speaker B: To get the parody in Europe right now is not in a good spot.
[00:44:49] Speaker A: Yeah, it's. It's really like a top five, bottom five region right now where it's like Casey G2 are the top two and then the teams may be fighting for that last world spot. Like I. I think that those two are just like guaranteed for Worlds, essentially the teams fighting for that last spot would be Navi Vitality and mcoi.
And then the rest of the teams are just kind of there for participation, prizes. That's the vibe that I'm getting. Some people are getting hyped about Fnatic with how close that MCO series was.
I know that rumor is Fnatic scrims have been going much better as well and that the team is just jiving together better with this new top lane Saburo coming in instead of Damn. Who was fanatics. Last stop Laner the Greek player Imperials. There we go.
[00:45:42] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah.
[00:45:45] Speaker A: So, you know, maybe this is gonna be a new great look for Fnatic, but I'm still not 100 convinced that they're going to be like fighting for a world spot. I think that they're now in the playoff title picture as opposed to last split where they got the one win against G2 and then did nothing else
[00:46:04] Speaker B: the rest of the split.
[00:46:08] Speaker A: A lot of games get through. So I guess one other thing to talk about is just the bounce back of McOil. Yes, they dropped a game to the Shifters. Yes, they dropped a game to Fnatic.
Are you worried, Badger, that MCO is still rattled despite that? Yes, it was a bounce back weekend. They did not, you know, win two zero against two teams that should be theoretically much worse than them.
Maybe.
[00:46:35] Speaker B: I don't know. I mean we're still early in the split. I It was the games that they did lose this weekend. Super was on mages instead of ads like traditional ad carries.
[00:46:46] Speaker A: Irwin also was playing like the Ambesa top lane. Yeah. Which was a tough one to watch, I think.
[00:46:53] Speaker B: I think just simple I simplifying the drafts and Asia or champ select. God, I'm got Valorant on the brain right now.
[00:47:03] Speaker A: What's that?
[00:47:04] Speaker B: That some other riot property, I think. I don't know. Okay, that's not league classic.
No, I just think simplifying how they want to play the game, keep it simple, stupid, just is something that they could thrive off of because Supa, I mean on attack damage characters has been really good.
And on non attack damage characters.
[00:47:28] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a weird position because like if the mage meta shifts during this split, a lot of these power rankings or like a lot of these standings could completely change because some of these ad carries are not as good on the mages mages. And if they no longer have to worry about the mages, boom. It's like suddenly they're back in entitled contention again. I think the MCOID is That type of team, too. That being said, it was fun seeing Paddock play Vladimir Botline. That was degenerate.
[00:47:56] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:47:57] Speaker A: Kind of crazy.
I'm trying to think, like, how the fanatic loss happened. I'm trying to remember.
Yeah, that was also super playing the mage bot.
[00:48:07] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:48:08] Speaker A: It really was just.
[00:48:09] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:48:10] Speaker A: Bad team fight at the very end, and the game just kind of ended.
Now what are you gonna do, Casey?
Are they the real deal? What do we think? Is. Is this French Org overblown? Or is this actually finally their split to show us what they're made of and how good they can be? Because they are looking terrifyingly good.
They're pretty good.
Yep.
[00:48:35] Speaker B: I feel like they're playing up to their potential at this point. I mean, that's the word that we've used so much for this team in the past. Just because, like, they had that strong showing at firsthand and on paper. I mean, you have the. One of the best supports, if not the best support in the West. You've got one of the best, if not the best AD carry in the West Con has just been an insane top laner for him this entire time, and Yahoo and Yike have been controlling the map really well. So it just feels really good that this team is in a situation that they're able to have the flexibility, because I.
Of all the mage bot lane players, I feel like Callista's been playing it probably the best out of anybody, which is surprising.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: Not what I expected out of coolest.
[00:49:23] Speaker B: I mean, the kid is just mechanically insane. Like, there's also that. That you have to consider, too.
[00:49:30] Speaker C: So
[00:49:32] Speaker B: I.
I don't know. I. I guess between, like, the long standing of, like, all of the other AD carries in the region, and then just, like, Callist being this, like, mechanical prodigy that's been hyped up since he was, like, 15 years old.
It's. It's unsurprising at this point that he is.
[00:49:53] Speaker C: He's.
[00:49:54] Speaker B: It's unsurprising that he's good on the mages right now. So that's interesting.
[00:49:58] Speaker A: You have that.
[00:49:58] Speaker B: So be it.
[00:49:59] Speaker A: Because I. I would have had the opposite reaction. I don't know, Mazzella. I believe we have mazel back from his audio issues there. But, like, a young AD carry.
When I think of, like, young, mechanically intensive AD carries coming in, I think the complete opposite. That, oh, you don't want them to play mages. You want them to be able to show off their mechanics, which are usually more like, for lack of a better term, show off a Bowl on their actual picks like on, on the AD carries. But Kalist has looked good on the mages. So Mizel, what are your thoughts on like young AD carries approaching the meta and do you think that it's impressive that a AD carry is able to adapt this quickly, this early in his career?
[00:50:44] Speaker C: I think it's a double edged sword. I got the doctor Callist and a couple other bot laners from MSI and I specifically was asking them about like the mage meta and stuff.
I think mages are just too good right now. Like I, I agree with the mechanics thing because we do see that like when an ADC gets the pop off in a late game team fight on a mechanical adc, it's so much more exciting, so much more exhilarating and requires so much like more precision.
Then I'm playing Syndra, I'm gonna do my entire combo at once and it requires some skill.
[00:51:21] Speaker A: Right.
[00:51:21] Speaker C: But it's not that same level of intensity but they are just statistically better. And I think it's really hard to make that argument that like oh, we gotta put them on these witness just the better. Like that's what you Hear all the ADCs a is like I just play it because it's really good.
It's like that it is what it is that sucks. But it has its own precision and its own intensity. It's just very different from from what we would want from like a mechanical adc. But I think you just got to play what's good with the way that riot makes their meta.
[00:51:51] Speaker A: It is funny how often it actually does come down to that is like as a pundit, I'll call myself a pundit of league esports. Sometimes you get in your own head and like over complicate things and you hear the players talking, they're like no, it's just good.
There's no secret to it. It's just like these are broken champs in the, in the meta right now.
[00:52:11] Speaker B: So I' play the good champs. Like that's all it is.
[00:52:14] Speaker A: Cool.
[00:52:14] Speaker B: Why not?
[00:52:16] Speaker A: Well, I also will say Casey, they have a pretty easy road ahead of them because they had the opening weekend in France. They had the French crowd buff and they were against the top three teams then. And the top three teams being G2, MCOI and Vitality. Yeah, it was Vitality, right, I believe.
[00:52:38] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:52:39] Speaker A: There we go.
So week one was like those four teams at the opening weekend and then they had Navi and they just two out Navi, that is the top four placing teams around them from Spring split that they've already played and they've beaten them all. They've only dropped a game to G2. The rest of their schedule is going to be easy breezy cover girl baby. I mean like they're not. They are playing once every week for the remainder of the split. But yeah, they got Fnatic, GX shifters, SK. Like I think Casey could go 18 and 1 in game score. I think that's actually a very reasonable and expected result with how they look.
[00:53:24] Speaker C: Imagine only having to play one game, one series a week, right?
[00:53:27] Speaker A: Imagine. Think about it. LPL could never.
They would combust.
[00:53:33] Speaker C: It would take like three months.
[00:53:38] Speaker A: All right, well, yeah, a lot of stomps, a lot of one sided matchups in the lec. And now we get to see all the bad teams going up against each other as opposed to that week one treat which was all the good teams going up against each other. We'll see if the soup starts to spread out though, as right now there are a lot of teams kind of in that middle clump. I'll also say for mcoi, their, their tough schedule has also been overcome. They just have Navi as like their next tougher opponent later on in the split. But they are, yes, they went oh three to start.
They ended six and three in spring. I think that they're gonna go another six and three in summer and still make it as like that probable third team at Worlds. Unless Vitality has something to say about it.
Or maybe Navi. Who knows. Okay, next week a lot of matchups.
[00:54:28] Speaker C: Let's get through these.
[00:54:29] Speaker A: Shifters versus gx.
We have GX across the board.
[00:54:33] Speaker C: Look at that.
[00:54:34] Speaker A: Shifters are still. Oh my God. Those games were the, the toughest ones to watch from this past weekend. Shayo is not working great with Nuke and despite Rooster's best efforts to carry games, I don't think he's gonna be able to do so here. Fnatic versus team Heretics. We all believe in the Fnatic hype.
[00:54:52] Speaker B: Let's go.
[00:54:53] Speaker A: Badger's the only one having them drop a game. Myself and Mazel have it two zero.
And yeah, again the, the hype around Fnatic. I'm starting to buy into it after those last games this past weekend. I think that there is something here now that they have a different top laner coming in to, to help bolster the ranks. SK versus so these are the Friday games by the way. Both of those are on Friday.
Saturday. SK versus Navi. We have Navi across the board. Oh my God. Guys, I'm Just gonna spoil here. Are we all aligned? No. I am the only one that has any difference.
[00:55:25] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:55:26] Speaker A: In one of our series later, we have Navi across the board.
[00:55:28] Speaker B: I got 2.
[00:55:29] Speaker C: 0.
[00:55:29] Speaker A: We got two ones from the other guys. MCOID, GX. It's M Koi. Two ones. Mazel's got 2O for M Koi.
Misselle. I'm just gonna chalk that up to Jojo Pyun. Yeah. Yeah, duh.
[00:55:43] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:55:45] Speaker A: I think GX showed me enough that they. They can at least take a game. And mostly mkoi show that they're a little shaky right now. So I think think that they can also drop a game. Demerit versus G2. We got G2O across the board. Fnatic versus KC. We got KC across the board. I put them losing a game. I don't know why I did that. I'm going to change that to just a 2 0. That doesn't seem realistic at all.
This is where things get a little interesting with SK versus Vitality. Now we're into the Monday games.
The two of you have Vitality two. One. Understandable. They were the number one team in spring at the end of the regular season, only dropping one series.
They bombed out in playoffs, but that was a surprise.
[00:56:25] Speaker B: Why?
[00:56:25] Speaker A: Who. Who in their right mind would put SK winning this? It just doesn't make any sense. That that would be ridiculous. That'd be silly.
[00:56:32] Speaker B: Kangas, who did you pick for the series?
[00:56:34] Speaker A: I picked SK2 1. I think that it's funny and I like putting skinning series occasionally.
Now with that argument, you should. You would say, well, why the hell do you have Navi2o when everyone else has Navi2 21 against SK? I think that's also really funny.
And generally when I have a feeling that something's gonna be funny in lec, it actually tends to happen. So. Well, we'll see if this is the one that happens. Anyway, Navi G2 is the final series of Monday and the week we got G2 across the board. I do think Navi is going to be able to step up. Relax. Just give him one wacky jungler man. Stop giving him freaking J4 and Xinjiao. Let him play Ambassador Jungle. Let him play Atrox Jungle. Win a game versus G2 and then lose the series. There we go. That's how it's gonna happen. Oh, wait. Badger also is a G2 one. Ah, look at that. Is it same thought on your end?
[00:57:24] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:57:27] Speaker A: Okay. Well, Badger has now changed his prediction to dodge the question.
[00:57:34] Speaker C: What's that Except Flippy Floppy.
[00:57:38] Speaker A: Flippy Floppy.
[00:57:39] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:57:40] Speaker A: Can we get Raz? But we have Raz at home. Show Badger
[00:57:46] Speaker B: and the big Pickle Pick.
[00:57:48] Speaker A: No.
And a big Bickle Pickle. That's gonna do it for this week's review and preview of next week. A lot of games, lec, it is hard to get through those in like a super insightful manner. I think for next week, honestly, in the next couple of weeks, I'll just focus on like one or two matches that I think are actually worth talking about because otherwise it like looking at that sheet. It's just choice paralysis of what the hell do I even talk about when it comes to those games.
I feel like we went a little light on that the past two weeks, but hopefully going forward we'll have some more insightful discussion. But for the lcs, at least we'll have some fun matches ahead of us this coming weekend.
Badger, if people wanted to leave a review on this week's episode for how many stars they feel it deserves, do you have a recommendation?
[00:58:35] Speaker B: I believe the number of stars that you should give us is five for.
Wait, there's six weeks at lec. Damn, it's five weeks. Yeah, that's right. Thank you, guys.
[00:58:50] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:58:50] Speaker B: Thank you.
The five for the number of weeks the LPL regular season goes.
[00:58:57] Speaker A: Hell yeah.
[00:58:58] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:58:58] Speaker A: That's what I like to hear. Let's go, baby. Lpl. Go support it. LPL Unofficial English or lfel English Unofficial, I think. Think it's the second one awesome program still that they're putting together over there. Shout out, Mizell. And shout out everybody who gets that show rolling week in, week out, day in, day out, at crazy hours as well. And thank you everybody for listening to this week's episode. Another one in the books. This one much more serious than the last.
I'm still reeling from the time travel shenanigans. Not gonna do it again. Not worth the.
[00:59:32] Speaker B: I feel disoriented at this point.
[00:59:34] Speaker A: Not worth the jet lag. Yeah, if you think jet lag from like east coast to west coast is bad, try a 13 year jet lag.
[00:59:42] Speaker C: That.
[00:59:42] Speaker A: That will get you, man. That'll get you right on your ass of jet lag. But thank you for listening, everybody who made it to this part of the episode. Just know that we love you and we'll see you next time. Bye bye.
[00:59:53] Speaker B: Bye, everyone.
[00:59:55] Speaker A: Oh, yes, Daddy, it.
Sam.
