I. I think NA's trying it out though, because it doesn't seem like LEC was fought. The EU LCS was following it as much.

Of course, there's only two teams that matter in the NA lcs and that is CLG and tsm.
The most storied and only rivalry, I believe that exists at all so far. We're still waiting for some other teams and clubs to get spun up.
GGU is a potential contender here. We have coast and others. But it really just seems we keep talking TSM and clg.
And as a surprise to everyone, despite what we said earlier about Reggie never leaving tsm, it seems he at least stepped away this weekend. And we get.

It was very interesting decision from actually the former GGU top laner playing for clg. For some reason I didn't know that he had decided to go by just his first name. So Zion Spartan, I guess for this weekend was just trying out something new and it was his Name was Darshan.
[00:11:21] Speaker B: I think what actually happened was that they name changed to Darshan and then name change back to Zion Spartan. So it was like a failed rebrand and now they've rebranded back.
[00:11:30] Speaker A: Did Riot hire his teacher and it was causing confusion.
[00:11:32] Speaker F: Even his teacher calls him John Spartan.
[00:11:34] Speaker A: Yeah, they just kept calling him that and it was just confusing for everyone.
[00:11:37] Speaker B: That seems Darshan doesn't even have a good ring to it. I don't think that would ever pick up.

With that Cloud 9 roster in the jungle, but just didn't work out so they ended up back down. Maybe they'll make some noise in summer, but we'll have to wait and see.

She used to be like journalists and do a bunch of interviews with players and stuff.

And she actually tried play by play a little bit over the weekend.

We're staying focused.
We're going to start in the most beautiful place on God's green earth, downtown Santa Monica at the NALCS studios. Where of course TSM took on clg. And Steve, could the result ever have been in doubt?
[00:17:55] Speaker B: Never, Duffy. CLG took it. It wasn't a sweep. I would have loved for the sweep. Unfortunately we did bungle game two a little a bit. But hey, it was a sweep in my heart because all it means is it proves that CLG is the better team. And like in 2013, man, our win record must be pretty close if not positive.
And that's probably never going to change. I don't think we'll ever lose a bunch of games in a row to them over a span of multiple years.

Mandated young rookie mid laner Poe Belter also really taking advantage of. Of this other guy high the new mid laner for tsm. I was very impressed with, with Po Belter's mechanics. I feel like he's just getting started in his career. Like he could go, he could go places.
[00:19:05] Speaker A: Yeah. Do you see that young millennial haircut too? It's very funny to see them all, you know, all these young guns kind of up and coming, which, of course, are the. All the same age as the rest of us.
[00:19:14] Speaker C: And that's.

[00:19:16] Speaker B: He kind of reminded me of the Notorious B.I.G. the Notorious B.I.G, i think. I think, like, I see parallels, like, in. From the rap career to the League of Legends career.
[00:19:27] Speaker A: Yeah, that's true. I do enjoy that they had that guy partnering with doublelift, who, of course, is going to teach him probably everything he knows, if not more Chowster.
I was very shocked to not hear him say his catchphrase, which is, of course, on all of the action figures of Chester that I have, which is everything that I say is right.

[00:20:12] Speaker B: Well, one thing, one takeaway I had because I was there live in the venue, is that CLG fans are simply better people than TSM fans. I saw a TSM fan kick a kid.

[00:20:25] Speaker B: No, it might have been actually the
[00:20:27] Speaker E: kid or the one doing the kicking. That's the real question.
[00:20:30] Speaker B: Yeah.

[00:20:32] Speaker B: And then they went back and then they sic the dog on the kid. So it was like a whole circle going on. Was that Dyrus the dog or the kid?

[00:20:48] Speaker A: Which, of course, we all know is like, Dignitas is bottom laner. And no, he's just as good as Doublelift.
[00:20:54] Speaker B: And, yeah, he's gonna. He's gonna scale just as well as those guys.
[00:20:59] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:20:59] Speaker B: But no. Fans were awesome in the arena. It was great to see. And also crazy. Crazy that Doublelift would steal a pentakill from Zion Spartan. Zion Spartan could have gotten his first pentakill on the lcs. I'm sure he'll have lots of other opportunities, though. He's a really good player. He'll probably get another one any day now.

Yeah, he was. It was very funny because we got a CLG classic line from the player subbing in for the guy who did the original line, which, of course as we all know, because we were all watching Justin TV when this happened live. When hotshot gg, of course, everyone's favorite top laner was playing Nidalee top lane.
And he got very upset with the nunu that was coming into his lane. He said, why, Nunu? Why? And as soon as Peter Doublelift stole Darshan's penta, he said, why, Peter?
[00:21:54] Speaker D: Why?
[00:21:55] Speaker A: It's basically the same thing. We just got another CLG top laner for a weekend. It's incredible how that works. Time is a flat circle.
[00:22:02] Speaker F: We're giving a lot of credit here to clg, but I'm really wondering what's going on over at tsm. They're trying out High and. And I think the odd one sum this up really well. At the intro we were getting to know High and really, who the are you is that?
[00:22:16] Speaker D: Yeah,
[00:22:19] Speaker A: I was not impressed. I don't think this guy's got a career in the LCS going forward. And you know, I hate to say it, but I really think they can. They can use Reggie back also.
[00:22:27] Speaker F: Really? I think if TSM's gonna be looking for some new talent, they really should be scouting over into you. I think there's no.

For those who do not know my lore from previously, I got married two years ago and went back to law school pretty much immediately thereafter. Went to law school, went back to school.
I'm about to finish up. I'm doing very well in law school.
I had a full ride, so my grades are really good.
I'm actually interning right now for California Department of Transportation, which is really cool. Working for the state, learning about a lot of stuff.
Don't have a ton of free time. I'm really glad I can make it happen this summer.
But, yeah, I'm about to become another. You know, I'm about to become an adult again.
You know, it's been nice to, like, go to school and be like, oh, my responsibilities are just go to class and do homework. Great but interning, like, I'm working nine to five. I do that again next semester and have classes on top of that. Then the semester after that, I basically start studying for the bar. And I hopefully get a job that I can have and will give me money, which was the whole point of all of this. And then I'm a lawyer. And then Riot hires me in about five years when they launch League 2.
