[00:00:13] Speaker A: Gets a little too far here. He's gonna have to try and get himself out. Let me go. Tillery and the rest of the shots of fire. Zion is just killing the next. Zion can eat it single handedly win the game by game by game by game by should be. Oh my God. Stupid. Passes through and manages to the table with Messiah tanking it up. I do not believe he just believe. I cannot understand this game. Unicorns of love. [00:00:48] Speaker B: It wasn't a mutant. [00:00:50] Speaker A: The Nexus. Hello and welcome to episode 572 of the League Rundown. This is your 2025 LTA split three week two review and LEC split three week one review. This episode is lovingly entitled Pick and play and Hope and Pray. And I am your host, Kangas, joined by two esteemed co hosts. Up first, we have fresh out of the can, it's Badger. [00:01:30] Speaker B: The. [00:01:30] Speaker C: The format for LTA is finally getting exciting, right? [00:01:35] Speaker A: Yeah. You're a fan now, right? [00:01:38] Speaker C: Totally. We get one, actually two decent matchups this week and a third that has the potential to be good. And then there's this dig in disguise. But we'll talk about that later. [00:01:49] Speaker B: What do you mean? That's the best matchup I see. [00:01:52] Speaker C: You're right. [00:01:52] Speaker A: That's gonna. That's gonna be okay. [00:01:54] Speaker C: That's the comedic relief for the weekend. [00:01:57] Speaker A: First I gotta introduce the voice you just heard. And then some more news. Just dropping because Duffy literally dropped something in league news chat as we started the podcast. But first we also have joining us rmc. Welcome to the pod. Rmc. Oh my God. Dude. Yeah, okay. It's crazy, but rmc, how's it going, man? [00:02:17] Speaker B: It was going chill till the nuke just dropped. That is. [00:02:22] Speaker A: Okay, well, you know what? I was gonna start with LCK Update. LTA Sewell Update. You know, the normal thing where we talk about what's going on around the world before we hop into our own league. But this again, Duffy, literally moments before we introduced rmc, just dropped this bombshell. Let's talk about roster news. Because the big information that happened last week, that happened last second, so. Last second. [00:02:45] Speaker C: Wait, wait, it's. It's a fake account. [00:02:48] Speaker A: It's a fake account. It's not. [00:02:52] Speaker C: We got baited. We got. [00:02:54] Speaker A: That's a good point. You. Duffy, what are you doing over here? Okay, well, you know what? [00:02:58] Speaker B: He's beating us. [00:02:59] Speaker A: Let's just talk about what actually did happen. There was a ringer brought in for line in the top lane. I say ringer loosely. It's not actually a ringer. They're still waiting for Zamudo with his visa issues coming in from Canada. Week one, they played Yayo, aka Bajani, the 1 and 29 NaCl legend who did not look good. He was a collegiate top laner who is not practicing or trying to go pro. So credit to him for trying his best and showing up for a team that needed a top laner. But this past weekend, they played Serdy. They had him so late on the roster that they actually lost two bands in their first game. But Serdi actually came back into the league not for Dignitas, but for a Lion. That was pretty fun. And I. I know that, like, we're all fans of the NA players to get promoted. I don't think I got a lot. I don't remember at least if I got your guys's opinions on 30 getting dropped. Badger, have we heard, like, your thoughts on. On the Serde situation from the beginning? So they. [00:03:58] Speaker C: I. All I can think of is the Bakery tweet that says, we're really excited to have Sergey come in and be a catalyst for growth, and he's going to be the backbone of this team. And he's gone by summer, which means that I can go back to the point that I've been saying since the incarnation of lcs that dignity. Dignitas is not a serious fucking organization. Get them the fuck out, please. [00:04:22] Speaker A: At least. [00:04:23] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't want to speak. They're the paid in mouse pads. The. I guess that was Delta Fox. Technically the the Stream dream meme team. But, I mean, those pieces did also come from Dago. Let's be honest. [00:04:37] Speaker B: You got to give Bakery credit. The man didn't lie. He called Serdi a catalyst. And a cattle is a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without being part of the reaction. So he was never meant to be part of it. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Oh, wait a minute. Right. [00:04:50] Speaker C: That's a good point. All right, fair, Fair. You know what? Let Bakery cook. You know, maybe. Maybe next year they'll actually win series at some point during the year, but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. [00:05:03] Speaker A: Next time Bakery announces a roster, he's gonna be like, here's our new 80 carry. They're gonna rob a bank, huh? [00:05:12] Speaker B: Yeah, we're picking up. [00:05:13] Speaker A: And then they leave within a. They leave in a split. They have to pay out the. The, you know, contract. You're like, wait a minute. Ah, you was. He was telling us the truth again. [00:05:21] Speaker C: Heist of the century. Crazy. [00:05:22] Speaker A: Crazy. [00:05:23] Speaker B: Yeah. We're going to pick up Sniper from 100 Thieves welcome our newest member. We're going to rob a bag. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Funny. It's funny you say that rmc, because I am hearing behind the scenes nothing's been confirmed. I don't know if this is correct information, but expectations have been set that there can be a shake up for 100 Thieves roster going into this coming week. They've already hired a positional coach in the top lane. We've covered it before that it was Dokla and there are rumors going around that Dokla had been splitting scrim time as well, not just positional coaching. And that potentially 100 thieves will make a decision on if Dokla or Sniper is playing this weekend. Again, it's just a rumor. I don't know anything confirmed about this, but I thought it was worth bringing up because it is like a. Dokla is a player that I know has been very public about wanting to play. He doesn't want to retire and become a coach. So from his perspective I would be surprised if he did just sign only to coach and was not pushing that. Like, oh, I could also play top for you guys. So I thought that was worth mentioning. Do we have big thoughts? Any, any, like would anybody be surprised if Sniper got replaced by Dokla going into this coming weekend? I. [00:06:38] Speaker C: Why, like it just. I, I, I don't know. I just feel like that is a good question. All right. Why is the, why is the question that I will be asking at all points until it is an org that. [00:06:49] Speaker A: Is not going to be around here. So it like they're trying to make a push for worlds or anything. [00:06:53] Speaker C: Right, right. It's. I don't know. I. All right. Yeah, you're. Oh, you're owing to at this point just with your roster all you want. I don't care. I mean get again Dignitas and 100 Thieves, the two unserious orcs in, in my league. It's fine. I'm okay with this. [00:07:10] Speaker B: Yeah. Potentially like two weeks left before they get eliminated so. [00:07:14] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:07:15] Speaker A: Because they're going to be in that as current trajectory says they will be in the bottom bracket of the elimination. I believe. Actually they don't even play the first week of elimination. I'm pretty sure. According to the schedule the first week of the elimination phase is only top bracket teams. So they'll be here for another three weeks. [00:07:33] Speaker C: Okay. Three weeks. You are, you are pissing away quids like prime and I, I cannot take them seriously either. It's fine, man. [00:07:45] Speaker A: I don't know if it's, if prime is accurate. He's still good. He's so very good. I don't like. [00:07:50] Speaker C: I don't know if he's in the prime. No, I mean, he could get better. [00:07:54] Speaker B: I mean, I could bring it this week. [00:07:57] Speaker A: Yeah, he looked better last year than this year for sure. He's still, like, split. One quid was a menace. Dude was already going down so good. [00:08:06] Speaker C: Where is he at? Blake? [00:08:08] Speaker B: And then 100 thieves took his prime. [00:08:10] Speaker A: They took his prime. Not to be confused with Logan Paul in his prime, which is a different product. I don't know why I brought that up. That guy. [00:08:20] Speaker C: All right. Yeah. Speaking of people in their rhyme, the. The LCK is. [00:08:30] Speaker A: All right, well, you know what? We covered the Rosa news. I wanted to get into it because Duffy, he. He trolled us with this fake report from Sleep Esports. Basically, the fake report he said claimed that Serdi was going to set to replace Photon for week three, and then Zamuda would be in for lion, which would have been hilarious. But it is not the official Sheep Esports account. It is Sleep Esports, which is objectively funny. But now let's go back to LCK update. Let's get around the world. Badger, what's going on in the lck catches up on the standings, and who's looking good, who's not? [00:09:03] Speaker C: Okay, so there's two groups. Legend group, Rise. Group Legend group is all the good teams, -9. Shim. But we don't talk about that. So it's Genji Han. What? He won KT rollstar. Nongshim. From top to bottom. Gen G is now 21 1. They lost series of T1. Their first series loss, I'm pretty sure since the LCK Cup. Leading into first. First stand, first strike, first stand. Whatever the I. I get this. This is going to be the best running joke on this podcast all year long is that I'm okay, dude. I'll fly to California. All right, bet. [00:09:45] Speaker A: Actually, as a riot representative, I have to, you know. [00:09:52] Speaker C: Sorry. I'll come to the LTA studio and some rioters gonna walk up to me and be like, you're never gonna get the name right on the podcast, are you? And I'm like, no, I'm not. [00:10:00] Speaker A: I really am not. [00:10:02] Speaker C: So. So Genji is 21 one series scores with a 43 and seven game score. They're already qualified for the upper bracket of the season playoffs. At the end of the year, han was in second in the group. 16 and 6 with a 35 and 15 series. Behind them is T1. Sitting at 500 is Katie Rolster and then sitting below 500 is Nongshim because they're in the group of death. Meanwhile on the other side, Damwon Kia D Kia is just bullying the shit out of the rest of the bottom of the LCK because they unfortunately landed in that group with their standings in the road to MSI Cup. So they're 13 and nine with 31 and 25 game score right now, three series winning streak. And they are five series ahead of okay, Savings Bank Brion which is tied for second with Fear X. Yeah, they're like ahead. Well, they've. So they're taking all the series scores from the records from rounds one and two carry over to the end of the season. So it's like a whole series thing for the whole split or like for the whole year. [00:11:09] Speaker A: So if you played. If you went further and split two and played more series and you're just gonna have more series. [00:11:15] Speaker C: Well, so it's just the regular. It's just off the regular season. It's just the Legend and rise groups is what was determined by how far you made it in split two. So. [00:11:25] Speaker A: Okay, anybody that complains about LTA format. [00:11:28] Speaker C: No, no, I agree. I, I think what's going on this whole like we're splitting people. Splitting like the upper half and the lower graph in the two different groups and then like making playoff formats based off of them. I agree. I just. We're getting too complicated. It's the baseball clip like so we are, we are at the point where D plus basically has to fall off a cliff and DRX has to catch them for them to make it out of playoffs. And our, our homie Rich is the top laner for that team. And Teddy, who's the. Who should have retired like three years ago as the 80s. So I think they're doing all right at this point. [00:12:06] Speaker A: Rich went from. Was it Heroes of the Storm pro? Was that. Was that what it was? [00:12:11] Speaker C: Here's the Storm champion. [00:12:14] Speaker A: World champion for. Here's the Storm to play for Dignitas in league to go to LCK and actually get a starting position. [00:12:21] Speaker C: It's not the first time he started an LCK in the top lane. [00:12:24] Speaker A: That's crazy. [00:12:25] Speaker C: You didn't know that? Well, did he play from like before? He played for nonchement and then he went to. Then he went to LPL. Remember he was V5 V5 rich there for a year. He almost made worlds. [00:12:41] Speaker A: I wasn't casting LCS when he was in the league. I don't. Yeah, yeah, I don't remember that. But yeah, so good for him, though. [00:12:48] Speaker C: But yeah, so T1's on a tear right now. They're probably. If you had to. Powering the teams. I think they're definitely number one. I mean, but that's just because they've beaten Jed G and they'll last recent weeks. I still think Genji is probably the best team in the world. If not them, it's Hanwha. If not them, it's T1. I. I don't know who from the LPL stacks up with this league at this point, but unfortunately, Miselle's not here to defend that point or to repeat that point. So here we are. But yeah, you can say whatever you want about lpl. [00:13:18] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, you're right. [00:13:19] Speaker C: I can say whatever I want about LPL at this point. Gosh darn it. So we get gen GT1, the rematch actually on Thursday. So that'll be an exciting. See if Genji can avenge that loss that they had a couple weeks ago to T1. And that's. I mean, pretty much that's it. Like, there's no other. I guess KT Hanwa has, like, playoff implications for if KT can actually, like, jump ahead of non. Because it's important to be fourth in that legend group. If you're fifth, then you're susceptible to the lower bracket part. I mean, I think they'll be all right because they're currently slated to play. Check note, Checks notes. Fear X, whose mid laner is Vikla, if you remember him. [00:14:06] Speaker A: I do. That was a fun roster to watch. [00:14:11] Speaker C: I sure as hell do. I'll tell you that. [00:14:13] Speaker A: I think there was another player on that roster. [00:14:15] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:14:17] Speaker A: Was around. [00:14:19] Speaker C: Someone on this podcast may or may not have said that team that could. That team could make semifinals at Worlds if everything clicks. And it did not click. They didn't even make Worlds. So he shoots, he misses. Sometimes it's fine. But yeah, that's the LCK update. Gen G is good. Han was good. T1 is really good. D Plus is actually just cyber bullying children and stealing their lunch money and their candy for the next, you know, three weeks, four weeks. So we'll see what happens once they start playing the good teams again. [00:14:50] Speaker A: All right, well, thank you for the update for lck. I just know all that I've been following over there. Is the T1 doing well. So let's go, baby. Faker also got resigned for another three years. I know we talked about that on the podcast in a past episode, but it just means League of Legends won't die in the next. You know, this year T1's just got to keep winning. No pressure, guys. No pressure. Okay. What else? LTA Sewell, rmc. What's going on in the South? [00:15:18] Speaker B: Absolute glorious chaos and we are loving it. I know a lot of people have been complaining about the LTA format, the pick and play thing. It worked out for the south. So that's a North problem that you all aren't getting good matches. Oh, out of the four matches in the south, three of them went the full distance. Furia lost. So, you know, all of y' all who are looking at Furia like, oh, international stage. They're fun. Everybody in the south went, yeah. This one's kind of iffy. And they lost. Not actually a big surprise because there's like the top two teams and there's everybody else and everybody else got went wild. Folks with W7M is that went 2:1 as well in favor of is pretty close. The divorce has indeed left them crippled for now. Red versus Loud. Red loud has Griffin and Griffin is getting grief by his team right now really hard. No, he went 281 in his first game this weekend against Red Canids and he looks like he's inting but I'm looking at it going like, okay. Robo is losing his lane and Jewel, the Korean mid laner, the new import that was supposed to replace Tinones, the former Brazilian faker is just choking for dear life right now. Joel looks so bad. In game three. Jewel got his signature yone and still only went three, six, one. Like, yeah, Griffin's getting grief by his team, so that's kind of rough. And then the. The other match that went to was Kate Stars versus Leviathan. Leviathan is lost as hell. And because the matches are so chaotic, our week three is going to be pretty fun too, where we actually get the bottom two teams actually facing off. So. Yeah. [00:16:50] Speaker A: That the bottom two. Okay. [00:16:52] Speaker B: Yes. [00:16:54] Speaker A: Past weekend was top two then. [00:16:55] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:16:56] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:56] Speaker B: So we have like some interesting matches every week. So the south entertainment value maxed out right now. [00:17:03] Speaker A: You know what? I will say our format was bad for the first two weeks. It is going to be much better for week three. Not prime like I. I would say we have also the bottom two teams against each other, although maybe not based on the standings. We'll talk about that in a second here. But it. It's the type of format that can be terrible. But I'm happy that at least in the south it has not been because teams are a little. There's more parity. You know, top teams will lose games bottom teams more than here in the North. Yeah. [00:17:32] Speaker B: So in a nutshell it was just like randomness for any of y' all trying to do LTA Fantasy in the South. Good luck. Most of us went with north teams. [00:17:40] Speaker A: Last week so ah dude, it is my only hope to beat Jad because I forgot to set my roster for week one of Fantasy. So the only way for me to catch up or beat JAT is to pick the coin flip south games and then also try and like find upsets in the north as well. It's it's gonna be a nightmare, but we'll see if I can do it. Speaking of shout out to anybody in the community who did manage to join the the Late Fantasy. I I was talking like a crazy person last week on the podcast. I was like I forgot to set it. I didn't realize that it would just stay from the the previous split. So we do have a league rundown fantasy group. It is the same from before, but I created a new one called the Late and Tardy Association AK for anybody that missed out on week one. A couple people joined that one. So if anybody from our community did welcome. If not, it's probably just folks from the official LTA discord that hopped in there. But speaking of our own Discord, shout out to everybody who is in the community. If you have not yet joined, you can find a link in the description wherever you are listening along as well. If you want to help support the Pod, you can join the Patreon or buy some merch from our Merch shop league rundown shop fourth wall.com both of the links for the Patreon and the Shop are also in the description down below. I just realized I did all that before covering two other news pieces, so let's just double back real quick. We're just really jumping around with the news today. A couple retirements happened that we haven't talked about yet. One happened a week prior and that was Travis Gafford officially stepping away from Hotline League as well as a focus on League of Legends content. He mentioned that he will still probably do a couple of videos here and there, especially around like worlds. But he's not going to be like focus primarily on League of Legends anymore. He will now be doing more magic, the Gathering content, more riftbound content, more moving into the trading card game TCG space. So best of luck to Travis. Whether you loved him, whether you hated him, agreed with his takes, disliked his takes, he at least made conversations happen around the scene and I think was A pillar in content creation for League for a very long time. So. [00:19:50] Speaker B: So it's not goodbye, it's see you elsewhere, we'll see you elsewhere in riot stuff. [00:19:54] Speaker A: Exactly. [00:19:54] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. [00:19:55] Speaker A: He's just, you know, shifting his focus away, which understandably, I mean, I think that it really speaks to the difficulty of maintaining the lifestyle that esports kind of promised in the earlier year, or maybe not early years, more the middle years, the, the golden age from like 2016 to 2019. 2020. I think part of why our podcast has survived so long is because we, we just do this for fun. [00:20:17] Speaker C: Right? [00:20:18] Speaker A: Like, none of us are financially reliant on this. You know, we appreciate the donations that come in through Patreon or the Merch shop, but that just goes towards our off season content and editor. You know, shout out to Ian, but for the most part we're all just volunteering our time for this. But somebody like Travis, that was kind of his job. That was what he did. So he's. He was definitely feeling the viewership drop and the engagement drop. [00:20:41] Speaker B: And here I thought he was just leaving for shiny cardboard. [00:20:45] Speaker A: Well, I. A little bit of column, a little bit of column B. I think part of it is you're not going to make engaging content that people will want to watch if you lose your interest and passion for the game. And I think it was a, you know, compounding issue that was happening where, you know, if you don't have that spark anymore, you're not going to make the content that people want to watch and they stop watching the content. Then that cell fills into a. Or self feeds a loop that will then make you want to leave. But of course you can check out his own video where he explains kind of his mindset on it. One other retirement happened. Badger, a notable player who hasn't been around for a bit now, but has officially now announced that he is retiring. How much do we trust player retirements, first off? [00:21:29] Speaker C: We don't. [00:21:30] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't know. We. [00:21:31] Speaker C: We're in the era of how many times did Doublelift come back? [00:21:36] Speaker A: He retired from official pro play twice and then still came back to tier three play, but never made it back to tier one. So technically he only came back on one tier one pro retirement. [00:21:49] Speaker B: Yeah. So you can't really call it a comeback the same time. [00:21:53] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah, it was as a streamer team, but still Funny. Bjergsen was in the same boat though, where he retired and came back. Who retired and didn't come back? I guess. Aphromoo. He never came back after retiring, he didn't come back as a coach. [00:22:10] Speaker C: Come back? [00:22:12] Speaker A: I don't think so as a cosplayer. But did Sneaky officially retire? I don't remember like a sneaky retirement video. [00:22:18] Speaker C: I also do not remember a sneaky retirement video. But who knows? [00:22:22] Speaker A: We're dancing around the name. But who did retire this past week? Badger. [00:22:26] Speaker C: Oh. So I realized we didn't mention it. Jensen put out a video. [00:22:31] Speaker A: Yep. [00:22:32] Speaker C: And that's basically saying he retired. So the original incarnation of one of the EU that came over has officially said goodbye. [00:22:44] Speaker A: A legend in the scene. Riot put together a nice little video for his retirement. We aired it on broadcast. If you missed it, go check it out, especially if you were ever a C9 or TL fan. Because he. He really left a mark on both of those teams and what he was able to accomplish. He was part of the back to back to back to back after replacing Pobelter. I know Pobelter won the first two with Team Liquid in their kind of heyday, but then Jensen came in and had a really good run with them as well. And God, that guy was just so good in his prime. Talking about players in their prime. Right. Like that guy was. Him and Bjergsen were the eternal rivalry. They defined the region. When it came to mid laners, Pobelter was the only other name ever in the conversation. And it wasn't even close between like, oh yeah, he's 30. Like it's Jensen and Bjergsen that are fighting for that first place one. And I think it really just speaks to. To what Jensen was able to accomplish. So heart goes out to him. Hopefully he's able to move on and find something else, you know, that brings him joy in life. I know it can be tough talking to pro players that have retired of like finding that next step, but I feel like Jensen's got a good head on his shoulder, so hopefully he's able to find something going for him. But I think that's it. Is that. Is that it for. For global news now? Did we get through it all? I'm not seeing anything else. Sweet. [00:24:04] Speaker C: Not that I can think of. Unless there's another, you know, unless we get sentled again by another parody publication and duppy posts it. [00:24:13] Speaker A: It actually says right here that Team Liquid is re signing doublelift. He's coming out of retirement again. That's. [00:24:19] Speaker C: Oh yes. Is that. Is that from Esports Central? [00:24:23] Speaker A: Oh, oh, oh, that's from. That's from Sheep Esports, but with hyphenated and a capital E. So I don't think it's correct. Okay, okay. All right, never mind. Never mind, everybody. All right, look. Okay. If we're entering an age where we're getting sent out for anybody who doesn't know Sentel, it's the NBA Central is like an official account that will tweet out news. NBA Sentel tweets out meme stuff that's like not true. But it gets popular enough that people think it's real. And then other news publications will get tricked and make their own articles about this fake report. It's really funny. If we're in an age where that's happening in a league. You know what? I welcome it. That's actually good content. [00:24:59] Speaker C: It's banger content, honestly. [00:25:01] Speaker A: Bring it on. Bring it on. If we did miss any other news topics though, let us know in the discord. As I had already said, you can find the link in the description below. With all that said, it's time to actually talk about the games that happened. We're going to start with LTA because you know, there that's a little more fresh in our minds. LTA north had week two of the pick and play stage, which a reminder for our format. We have three weeks of this. You know, bottom teams choose their opponent and then we're going to enter into the elimination phase where the top teams choose their opponent and teams will already, like it said, get eliminated leading into the cross conference playoffs. That happens at the end of the split side. So week two results are in. Rmc, you want to run through the the standings as they are right now, just to kind of catch everybody up on who's winning, who's losing. [00:25:49] Speaker B: Okay. At the top table to absolutely no one's surprised. FlyQuest and C9 continue to dominate, but interestingly, tied with them at the top of the table. This one might surprise people. Shopify Rebellion actually up there right now. And that matters because it created some weird pick and play moments this week when we talk about who we're gonna be, who's matching up with whom this coming week, right below them, sitting at one and one, it's Team Liquid and Lion. And that might surprise some people, might not. [00:26:19] Speaker C: I don't know. [00:26:19] Speaker B: Liquid's been having its issues Spawn's been vocal about during the off season. And then sitting at the bottom of the table because for every two. Zero, there is an 012. We've got disguised Dignitas and 100 thieves. The thieves have been jailed down there. They are 02 as well. [00:26:35] Speaker A: And what sucks is that the pick and Play like the way that you select teams, your game record actually matters. So not only is 100 Thieves and Dignitas at 02 and series score with Disguise, Disguise at least has a game win, so they're technically above them in the standings. And then Shopify is just slightly below FlyQuest and C9 since they dropped one game, so that does factor in. But yes, series scores. There's kind of three at the top, three at the bottom, and then in the middle. Badger, talk to me about the games that happened. What were the matchups and what were the results from this past weekend? [00:27:13] Speaker C: So this past week, we had C9 play Dignitas, we had Fly Quest play 100 Thieves, we had Shopify play DSG, and we had lion play TL. And everything obviously went according to plan. No upsets here. [00:27:35] Speaker A: Let's address the elephant in the room. The one upset that did happen. Because we were correct on our predictions for all the favored teams, DSG picked up a win. They looked pretty good in that game Number one versus Shopify Rebellion. But the bigger story is that lion beat T L. The reason that all of us last week put TL2O is because we all expected Bajani would be playing again. Unless Zamuto's EVs issues had been solved, lion had a second solution, a Plan C. If Bajani was, or rather Yayo was Plan B. Plan C was 30 and actually sturdy looked really freaking good. Dude, that guy without the shackles of Dig is a different player. [00:28:16] Speaker B: We talked about this two weeks ago. We were saying, why doesn't lion just do this? Well, I guess we found out they just needed time to get the negotiations done and they got Sturdy and they look good. [00:28:25] Speaker A: Yeah. And per the player contract database, Dignitas has dropped. Serdi lion signed 30. So I know that Dignitas had this whole like, oh, yeah, 30's gonna be like a streamer for us and like do content. My expectation is that's just gone now because he's no longer listed as a member of Dignitas on the player contract database. Who knows? Maybe it's like a different content creator contract he has. I'm not sure. But at least as a player, he's no longer tied to Dignitas. But yeah, I mean, again, he. He played Carries game one and two. He looked really good. Game one struggled a bit. Game two, but Game three played Scion. And I. If you remember Serdi Scion last split. That was dog. I'm not gonna lie to you. [00:29:05] Speaker C: It was pretty bad. [00:29:06] Speaker A: Yeah, it was really bad. But this Weekend. His Scion. That was probably the best Scion that we've seen like this. We haven't seen a lot of sign the split, but at least in the last like couple of months, man, I have not seen Cyan unstoppable onslaught old flanks from like top lane to Dragon fight that have been successful in a while. Like, it's actually kind of rare to those pull off. He got two in one game where he's just like coming in off the flank and finds the ad carry and just like solos them while the team wins the fight and then they kill the ad carry. It's like, wow, like 30 just won them multiple fights in that one game on a champion that I thought he'd be at that. So props to Sturdy. I think he really stepped up. But lion also showed that they still have the firepower. Saint was firing in all cylinders. Rahel as well. And Audi and Lions found really, really fun engages. So lion is turning into now a team that you got to respect and be a little afraid of in, in the standings. [00:30:04] Speaker B: Yeah, and. And for Liquid too. I mean, to be fair, it's pretty easy for Sion to break some bones when it's 200 year old bones on Aphelios. Like, look, I. I don't know, I feel like team Liquid's. Yeah, struggling and when Yawn's pulling out like Aphelios into Jinx, I don't know how I feel about that. Like, that kind of feels like we're running out of champions that we can utilize which are more meta and we're digging into sort of like the back pocket for stuff that we haven't used in a while and then struggling to actually pilot it at that point. Not to mention the team to hell either. Like Impact and Yuji needed to be there to peel for Yawn and they just want part. [00:30:38] Speaker A: I. I still feel that Core JJ is slacking. He's slumping continually. Impact is back to full slump. Impact. I remember, I think it was split one that we had this graphic or. No, it was the beginning of Split two. We had a graphic that was like, is this Impact's worst split ever? And then he got solo killed while we ran the third graphic. [00:31:00] Speaker B: Yes. [00:31:00] Speaker A: But then he kind of brought it back and towards the tail end of split two. Not like he wasn't caring, but he at least wasn't like the reason they were losing. He's back to that again now, which is really tough, man. Like there's legends and impacting Core JJ and seeing them struggle this much against the competition it's like, that's tough. That's tough to see, man. So, yeah, if you're a Team Liquid fan, Badger, sorry, but if you're other Team Liquid fans out there, you're going to be ruined for this off season because I will tell you, impacting Cord G out the two contracts that are up at the end of this year, I would be surprised if both of them got resigned. Maybe there's an argument for keeping somebody like Core JJ just because of leadership skills and, like, the intangibles outside of game to help, like, VOD review and stuff and then get, like, more firepower in the top lane. But I don't think you keep both of them. I'd be very surprised. [00:31:52] Speaker C: Yeah. I'm already, like, thinking, like, Serdi might be a free agent this off season. Do they take a chance, like, legitimately. [00:32:04] Speaker A: The way Serde was playing? If he's able to play like that for Team Liquid, that would be a really big boon because they, at that point, like, Apa is a veteran. He'd be in his third year. Jan's a veteran. He's in his third year. Right. So, yeah, maybe not, like, full veteran status, but they're no longer rookies. You can't call them, like, the young talent. They've had the experience that they can actually, like, lead a little more. And if you have Corjj still, somebody like Serdi and UGA as the. The newer guys, I think could work. But that was the most interesting thing to talk about. You're right. That, like, fly quest smashed 100 thieves. God, 100 thieves look like ass right now. And I want to believe. I really want to believe, but they just have no heart in them. Even in their interviews, when you hear them talk about their motivation, it's like river saying, yeah, I know. We. We don't feel motivated. It's like, what. You're saying that on camera? Like, that's crazy. [00:32:53] Speaker B: River said he's done after the split, right? [00:32:55] Speaker A: So. Yes. Yeah. [00:32:56] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:32:56] Speaker A: He. [00:32:56] Speaker B: He's definitely not going out. [00:32:58] Speaker C: Like, this is why I. Again, unserious organization. Just. Just rivers like swan song, like, last dance. Like, they could be doing something good with it. And they're, you know, talking about bringing Dokla in first Sniper, top Lane and just. It's bad. It's bad and the vibes are bad. [00:33:18] Speaker A: If. If that is a true rumor. Again, a rumor, I have not heard anything like confirming it. It. But if the rumor is true and Dokla does come in for Sniper, I. I wonder if that's it. For Sniper. Because at that point the question is why? Yeah, this org's not gonna exist. Everybody on this roster is playing to get scouted and signed for next year. Why? [00:33:41] Speaker B: Okay, so I heard rumors that Sniper leaked on a stream that he's on. He's already been scouted for another team. I don't know how true that is. [00:33:48] Speaker A: Oh really? [00:33:49] Speaker B: I don't know how true that is. Again, rumors. [00:33:51] Speaker A: So, okay, all rumors are the case. [00:33:53] Speaker B: And river is out. I can see why. You know, they're. They're maybe kind of just like already like half done. Yeah, I assume Quid will probably be able to find a place because frankly, he deserves one like Quid even in his slump. I still think like, yeah, yeah, teams are still probably eyeing Quid. If not, Quid comes to south. You'll find a spot there. [00:34:10] Speaker A: Don't. Don't worry. I have an entire off season episode dedicated to the concept of where do the hundred thieves players go? Because I think Quid is like S tier teams want him bad. I think FBI would be up there. I think Sniper would be up there. Even with the rough performances, like, he's still a big enough personality and you know, young enough that maybe you can mold it. Ayla, there's an argument for as well. River's the only one that we know won't be around, but we'll have a whole like conversation about that sometime during the off season, hopefully before they're all confirmed for teams so it's relevant, you know. But yeah, C9 smash dig. That wasn't even close. God, Dig are bad at drafting. They drafted a freaking. [00:34:55] Speaker B: But they drafted a clan. [00:34:58] Speaker A: They did draft a clad, actually, you know. Okay, that is worth talking about. That was exciting. That was fun and he did have a couple of cool plays. Photon is like the only one on this roster that was able to get any gold lead and he did it pretty much all himself. Minimal intervention from the team and he was able to hold on to those gold leads and try and like create space. But the rest of Dignitas just cannot hang with C9. Like C9's too good. They're, they're, they're too well oiled of a machine. But yeah, the was exciting, right? [00:35:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:35:34] Speaker C: The Photon fall from grace needs to be studied too because he was like berserker level prospect coming out of T1 challengers like five years ago or three years ago. Like, oh, he's going to vitality in Europe. He's gonna make that his stomping ground. And then now it's oh God, he's riding away on Dignitas. What happened to this guy? [00:35:52] Speaker B: Like, I mean, when he left the lec, Vitality was ninth place. That split. Like he did not have a good time at the oec. [00:35:59] Speaker C: Well, that's his first split. [00:36:01] Speaker A: He got first team all pro top lane, which you were right. I know you brought that up so good. Like is confirmed. [00:36:07] Speaker C: He was like regular MV. Like he was MVP in summer of 22 right before he left like challengers. And then he, you know, got first team all pro in winter and then it just kind of fell off from there. Like what, what happened? Like, this guy was really good at one point. [00:36:29] Speaker A: You know, I think that regardless of what happened in his career in the past, it's not looking great for prospects in the future. As sad as it sounds like, like, unless Dignitas rebuilds the roster going into the next year around Photon, there's a chance it's a one split wonder. Yeah, he's just gone. [00:36:48] Speaker B: I'm just wondering where Dick even like dug this guy up from. [00:36:52] Speaker C: Like from esports. [00:36:54] Speaker B: Yeah, but it's like why, why would he look in there in the first place? Like Agent needs a race. Let's put it that way. [00:37:02] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. I don't give Photon a raise. Also after having to, you know, be a thousand gold ahead top lane, while his team's cumulative like 7k behind, it's like, oh God. So yeah, that was 69. And then Shopify DSG. That was at least excited for DSG. I do think the DSG have with Henna coming in actually have a chance to carry games because they have a carry. They, they, they have somebody who can. Wait. Am I getting Henna and Rahel mixed up? [00:37:37] Speaker C: I was gonna, I was wondering where. [00:37:38] Speaker A: You were going earlier. Henna's online Red Hell now in on dsg. Sorry guys. Thank you for the cat. I'm gonna be honest, as soon as I said it, I was like, wait a minute. [00:37:46] Speaker C: I'm gonna be honest. This is so. This is, this is. I mean this in the, the most non slight way possible. I forgot Dark Wings was on this team until I looked at the scoreboard. [00:37:56] Speaker A: Like. [00:37:58] Speaker C: Damn. [00:38:00] Speaker A: Yeah, he was kind of a big pickup in the off season. And by big, I mean like a, like hey, it's a big conversation pickup. Not, not like a. Oh, I think. [00:38:08] Speaker B: It'S a huge pickup. The fact, the fact that we are not saying that disguise is struggling in the mid lane tells you that Dark Wings is a massive upgrade. [00:38:15] Speaker A: Like, well, I mean, actually, can I. [00:38:19] Speaker C: Can I, could I Do the second slight. That's not a slight. At Dark Wings, it's really not hard to be. It's not hard to be an upgrade over what we saw from. [00:38:30] Speaker A: Okay, okay, Yeah. I mean, I agree, but we're not gonna go there. [00:38:33] Speaker B: We're not gonna Dark Wings. [00:38:36] Speaker A: All Dark Wings needs to do. And I've said this before, all he needs to do is hold the line. Hold the line of the mid lane. Don't get giga far behind, don't feed your opponent, and the team can actually come together. Because Castle, God, he can carry games if you give him. Whoa. Okay. He can get a leash. He can't win a game with the lead, but he can get a lead. Rahel now is showing he can also get a lead. And then that is where dsg now that they have two people that can, like, get a gold lead, and maybe they can, like, finagle some way of who he finds the right engages for them. [00:39:06] Speaker C: This is. This. Okay. This team is like. This team is like the NA version, and I'm not gonna. Okay, all right, hold on. [00:39:15] Speaker A: I gotta choose my words. Call them vitality. [00:39:17] Speaker C: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm itching. It's. It's. It's got the makeup of 2018 KT Rollster, the team that should have won worlds if they want to beat IG in that game five. But that is not what I expected to hear in the way. In the way of. Okay, so the top laner is obviously the. It's like top lane carry of the team. You've got a really good ad in place, and your mid laner just needs to not feed. That was. [00:39:46] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:39:47] Speaker C: Dark Wings just has to play the pawn. The 2018 pawn role of don't int. Don't get my lane opponent ahead. Play around with the jungler and roam to side lanes and make an impact on the map and let those boys carry me, and it's. It'll be fine. No, no. Like, it's a bastardized version of 2018 KT roll. [00:40:07] Speaker A: That is a wild comparison to me. I guess I'll take it. [00:40:11] Speaker C: You take that to your little LTA storyboard planning meeting that you have on Saturday of the one that you tweet. I'm the first one in the room every time for us. [00:40:21] Speaker A: You know what? [00:40:21] Speaker C: Someone brought up an interesting point to me. What's the difference between disguise in 2018, Katie Rolster. And then everyone's going to look at you like kids. [00:40:29] Speaker B: The fuck. [00:40:33] Speaker A: All right, I'm going to bring it up. [00:40:34] Speaker C: I'm going to, I'm going to bring that up, bring it up to Emily. First off, tell my appreciate apologize to Emily in advance because I know, I know 2018 KT Rollster hurt hurts as much to her as it hurts to me at this point. So incredible. [00:40:50] Speaker A: Incredible. I'm put, I'm literally pulling up my phone Samsung notes where I put like what I want to bring up in the story meetings. I'm putting it in. Right. Right. [00:40:58] Speaker C: I need you to somehow get everyone's reaction to it and send it to me just like just so I know how, how exiled I would be from the Riot studio if I ever walked into that place. [00:41:09] Speaker B: Brother. Yeah. Comparing Rahel to death and then you like you call it a bastardization. It is so bastardized that a paternity test couldn't tell you the father is like it is. So what? [00:41:20] Speaker A: All right. I, I, I'm not even like adding all the other notes. I'm just gonna say DSG is 2018 KT. [00:41:26] Speaker B: Oh my goodness. [00:41:28] Speaker A: Thoughts, Thoughts. All right, we'll see how that goes later. So that was last week though for LT inward now let's go to predictions for this coming weekend here. God is this are the past couple episodes have fallen off the rails exceptionally and I'm loving it so far. Predictions wise we got four best of threes ahead of us. Saturday we'll have TL versus C9 with lion versus Fly and then 100 Thieves will be versus Shopify and Dig versus Disguise that Sunday games. Holy. That's some bad right there. The the banner ceremony did not go as expected. I hosted it and in the mom I'm not going to lie. I need to improve on it of reacting authentically when things happen. I'm not expecting I just didn't even mentally process when quid from Hundred Thieves selected Shopify instead of like lion or Liquid. [00:42:27] Speaker C: Do you think they told him what team to pick or did he just go out there and just be they're just like, yeah, just pick pick to pick whoever like did they did he. [00:42:34] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:42:36] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:42:36] Speaker A: I should have grilled him more on that in the moment. I didn't. That's on me. But he picked one of the undefeated defeated teams and that kind of messed up everything expectation was like yeah, Dignitas will pick disguised 100 thieves will pick lion team. Liquid will then pick Shopify and then we get fly C9 as like a pretty exciting match. That's what was like air quotes supposed to happen. At least it was Exciting because it wasn't what we expected because the lower ranked teams do decide the top linked teams. The big loser of this is freaking lion because they already played TL and C9. So of the remaining teams only Flush Quest was available. So they got stuck with FlyQuest because 100 Thieves. Anyway, that's a matchup. So we have predictions wise. C9 beaten TL. Me and Badger both think it's a 2. 1. RMC thinks it's a 2. 0. Badger. How do you have TL picking up one of these games? I'm curious. [00:43:34] Speaker C: You know C9, C9 control game. Every once in a while I feel like we haven't seen their. They're. They. They're undefeated game score wise. This split. They've got to have one that they just dropped. They dropped like they'll drop like a random game too to tl. [00:43:46] Speaker A: Sure. [00:43:46] Speaker C: Like that's what's gonna happen. [00:43:48] Speaker A: I think also to just add on to that. C9 are ego enough that they won't ban zigs for a game. APA will get it and TL AL if like that same game. Especially if Yan has a really good game. TL's good for one. So yeah, that. That's why I have C9. Two. I. I still think C9 is a better team clearly. But I. I think TL could sneak in with a win there. Next up, lion versus Fly. We all have Fly across the board. Badger actually has Fly losing a game. Exciting. [00:44:16] Speaker C: How come I did same point that copy and paste the C9 logic into it. I think there's gotta be one that Fly just like stumbles at some point. There's. There's always a game in the regular season that they just like fall flat on their face. They get down like 5k gold at like 18 minutes and then they just can't. They try and claw their way back but then it just isn't enough. And they will drop like a random game one to a team that they should. [00:44:42] Speaker A: So I. I will say based on the banner ceremony, Bipo actually kind of dropped a bomb that I don't even know if he realized he dropped or if anybody else has really picked up on. But he mentioned because I was like yeah. So are you versus 30 all the games or do you think Geckos gets in there? Like do you think geckos could take 30 and Bwipo. The. The impression I got was he wants to play sturdy, not have geckos versus 30. Which is if lion has 30. We'll. We'll see. We'll See, because it comes down to if Zamudo's in in time. But Pueblo also dropped. Yeah, I wanted Serdi to be my replacement. And, like, just nobody's talking about that. The Bipo just on live broadcast said, yeah, I actually wanted Serdy to be my replacement, but we'll see how things go. And I was like, okay, that was crazy. And I haven't seen anybody, like, making tweets about that or anything, but cool. Maybe we'll talk about that later. Maybe he wasn't supposed to say that. I'm assuming he wasn't supposed to say that. That. But that was interesting. But I do think Bwipo wants to play Serdes. So that's why I have a 2. 0 because I think Bipo is better than Serdi. It's gonna be a fun match, but the only win I would see is if Geckos came in and 30 was able to gap him. All right, 100 Thieves versus Shopify Rebellion. We all have Shopify across the board. You actually believe in 100 thieves more than I do at this point. 100 thieves have given me zero reason to believe in them. I have Shopify 2. [00:46:07] Speaker C: Oh, actually, yeah, you're right. I should do two of. I, I, I've, I've talked them enough at this point that indic. [00:46:13] Speaker A: I've just, I just don't. Thieves rmc. Why do you have Shotify losing a game, though? [00:46:17] Speaker B: Okay, 100 Thieves chose this matchup, like, so, first of all, like, I'm expecting them that they have something up their sleeves. And second of all, every time they play Shopify Rebellion, things get really screwy. [00:46:28] Speaker A: So, like, also a good point. [00:46:30] Speaker B: Yeah, I think that there's going to be one game where it just gets really weird. Like, I have no trust in Shopify. Rebel into close games to close series out. Clean the eyeball there, like the top side of the map. Fudge Contracts and pal Fox like to. They're like their, their sponsors, you know, like, they understand that a lot of it's about entertainment, so they try and maximize entertainment. Because of that. I expect them to lose one game and then Bevo and CS are going to quietly lose their minds in the bot lane and try their hardest to win the game. And they'll eventually be able to do that in game three. [00:46:56] Speaker A: Okay, all right, all right. Fair enough. Fair enough. Well, I at least like the breakdown of the the why Dignitas versus Freaking disguise. [00:47:05] Speaker B: Oh, the toilet. Let's go. [00:47:07] Speaker A: How did this happen? The only thing stopping this from being the definitive toilet bowl is the Fact that DSG picked up a game win versus Shopify Rebellion and at least have like two roster moves. 100 Thieves just look like ass and like they just don't want to play the game. So that's why they're at 02 with 0 and 4 game record. But maybe if, if Doko comes in that could turn around. [00:47:28] Speaker C: Who knows. [00:47:28] Speaker A: But dig versus DSG. I have DSG2O Badger S2O. RMC has dig to one. What's going on there? [00:47:36] Speaker C: RMC unserious. [00:47:39] Speaker B: I believe that somebody. [00:47:40] Speaker A: Did you see Dig's games first off? Even watching what they're doing on the Rift? [00:47:45] Speaker B: Yeah, but that was against C9. To be fair, C9 tart C9. C9 is a really good team, you know. And I also did watch Disguise games against Shopify Rebellion which is also actually why I think Shopify will drop a game against 100 Thieves. But that yeah, I think okay. Class on Xu did a lot of work in that series. I am still not completely sold on Rahel and I think Shaden can handle Xu. I'm gonna trust that Photon can handle Castle and they could go either way. And historically Dignitas has been better than Disguise. So I will still give Dig the benefit of the doubt. Not by much, but enough to me to go against the Tide a little bit. [00:48:25] Speaker A: Okay. All right. I still think I saw enough spark from Disguise. Dark Wings holding the line. Rahel at least is Ezreal looked really convincing of like yeah he can he can carry games. I I honestly think he's going to do just fine here. Especially against Tomo. All respect to Tomo. Like the guy he's the weakest ad carry in the region. Like I I think just bar non like he is the bar for can you compete in nacl? It's important to have that for for the NACL players trying to come up into lta. Sorry I think I said nacl. I'm at LTA tier one and and he's kind of holding that line right now. But I don't think he's competing with anybody else. If you watched Diggs games and how Tomo specifically like I, I, I'm doing this thing that I just called Tomo watch. We're in a team fight. I just watch him. I'm like not auto attacking, not auto attacking attacking running away. Okay. [00:49:16] Speaker C: Like that actually this, this is the maybe I did forget that Tomo was on Dig too. I don't know like how I forgot Dark Wings was undisguised. [00:49:27] Speaker A: I don't know know he doesn't do anything like. I don't think Tomo's had a breakout moment. [00:49:32] Speaker B: The biggest joke to me actually about Tomo is his champion pool, considering the way he plays. Like, if you're going to do that, play Jinx, you know, play. Play something long range where you can afford to kind of do that. Or even like Varus, you know, well, Varus Perma band, I guess. So he can't play it. He did play it quite a bit where, like, you can throw spells in from afar. Play Sigs instead. He plays things like Yunara, Xayah, Kalista, where it's like your range is kind of short, so he spends more time running than he can actually auto attack. [00:49:57] Speaker A: Or sling spells, literally. I. I know this is a tough moment because it's the end of the game. They're defending the nexus, but just versus C9. They're at their Nexus. Vulcan headbutts him like towards the fountain as. As he's playing Alistair C9 then hit the front line. Tomo, instead of running back up around the top half of the Nexus, he runs around the bottom half of the Nexus, juggles back and forward autos the Minion wave twice, walks up to hit in the fight. Vulcan has headbutt again. Headbutts again. And he does no damage in the team fight. I was like, God damn it. You are the Inara. You are like, what is that? It's fine. Okay, whatever. Yeah, that's week three predictions. [00:50:43] Speaker C: Okay, to prove this point, I pulled up of the Dignitas C9 game and there's a fight in the base and there's a team fight breaking out. You know what Tomo's doing? He's hitting minions. [00:50:56] Speaker A: Is. Is this the Ynara game? [00:50:57] Speaker C: Is this the Yunara game? Yes. [00:50:58] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:50:59] Speaker C: Yes. [00:50:59] Speaker A: And it's because Vulcan like engaged on him early. And then he walks around the bottom half of the Nexus and hits them. [00:51:04] Speaker C: No, this is. This is like they're out. [00:51:06] Speaker A: Oh, this is before that. [00:51:07] Speaker C: Between the inhibitors. They're saying between the inhibitors by that little, like post by the base game. And he's hitting minions as his teammates are fighting. His teammates are dying. [00:51:17] Speaker A: Like, I missed that. Tomo, watch. [00:51:19] Speaker C: Like, Shaden's habits have HP in the back line with Cyclone going. And he's hitting Minions like, hey, as. [00:51:30] Speaker A: An ad carry, you have to do damage. And I just, I. I think Tomo, in a way, Scary Jerry was worse at this. But now that Scary Jerry's not in the league, Tomo is the next one that we look at. Of like an ad carry that will not walk up and right click the enemy. [00:51:45] Speaker B: In his defense, he actually did the most damage on his team. [00:51:49] Speaker C: Oh, did he? [00:51:49] Speaker A: Okay, well that's in the. In the fight or in the game? [00:51:52] Speaker B: In. In the game, he did the most damage on take. [00:51:55] Speaker A: Okay. But we have a new stat that I love and I'm going to push this stat every time I can. Damage dealt that contributes to a kill. So we no longer just show damage. In the post game breakdown, we show damage and then the. The full bar of damage is shown. But then there's a deeper highlighted part of the damage, which is anything to a kill. [00:52:18] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:52:18] Speaker C: I. I was. Who brought this up? Because I see that Leo. [00:52:23] Speaker A: Shout. Shout out Leo. He's been on the. A couple of times. He is the LTA stats guy. Really good at his job. And he invented this himself, unprompted. Just gave it to the team and said, hey guys, I came up with this new thing. I think it's going to be really good for us. And then it was at msi, they're already going to implement it for worlds. Like, everybody's like, oh, wait, this is actually really helpful because now Rumble versus Scion on like, yes, Rumble's gonna have crazy damage. How much of it was actually impactful in a kill, like for a team fight or something? Right? Like that's what's important. So I'm curious where Tomo was in that regard. [00:52:57] Speaker B: Well, I can give you kill participation, even though I can't give you the exact damage there. And spoiler, Tomo's not at the bottom. Guess who is among 80 carries? [00:53:08] Speaker A: Oh, among 80 carries. Yeah. [00:53:11] Speaker B: 76. Sorry, 67.6. Pardon me. And he's not the lowest. [00:53:19] Speaker A: It's FBI. [00:53:21] Speaker B: No, FBI is right above. [00:53:23] Speaker A: Is it B Boy? [00:53:25] Speaker B: No. So B Boy is actually the second highest, which makes sense because around the ball lane or when they win, they play around the ball lane because people and seals aren't. [00:53:33] Speaker C: Are you telling me. [00:53:34] Speaker A: I mean, kind of, but sales just did. Sales also has the least proximity to ad carry percentage of any support. [00:53:41] Speaker B: Yeah, that's more. Yeah, because B boy doesn't need a support. This happened in Brazil. No, it's Van's actually the top 70, so the lowest is Rahel at 62.8. Kill participation between him and Tomo is Masu. That one blew my mind. Masu is only 66.5. [00:53:59] Speaker C: Okay, I. I was wondering which team. Which top team had their ad? I wasn't sure if it was. [00:54:03] Speaker A: I guess it's because quads having a great split. So maybe quads just taking a lot from. From awesome. Yeah. All right, that's a lot of time in LTA north, and we're already moving a little bit past where I want to be on the podcast right now, but great conversation. Happy to have it. Thanks for bringing up the stats there, but that was the last weekend as well as our predictions for this coming weekend. Now we're gonna hop across the pond to lec and I'm gonna admit something to everybody. I. I didn't watch LEC this weekend. I caught like a couple of games before LTA north. So all I'm gonna do is give you the spark notes for. For kind of where standings are and what I did see from the games. And by that I'm. I mean everyone look at the dot because I'm going to make the two of you actually help me out with this. Badger. Group A. There's two groups in lec. Group A. Give me the standings. Who's at the top, who's at the bottom, and just kind of what the series score is after week one. [00:54:52] Speaker C: All right, so at the top, Group A, we got Carmine Core 2. Oh. With a 4:1 game score. Second place is Giant X with a 1:1 and a 3:2 for games. McCoy. Chilling. [00:55:05] Speaker A: Yep. Haven't played. [00:55:06] Speaker C: Didn't play this weekend. And then tied for fourth is Navi. Welcome to the league. Navi with an vitality with both dropping their series this weekend and going 02 in games. [00:55:22] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I would like to. I don't know if the word is apologize or just. Just, you know. [00:55:30] Speaker C: No, don't be apologetic. [00:55:32] Speaker A: What's. What's the word where, like when you write an essay and then you make a change to the essay, you. [00:55:38] Speaker C: Revisions. [00:55:39] Speaker A: Revision. There we go. I'd like to make a revision to a statement I made last week where I said this was the group of Death and its vitality at the bottom. Everyone else competing? Nah, dude. Na. They're not very good. I did catch some of their games and. Oh, boy. [00:55:55] Speaker C: Is. Okay. When. When are we. Are we going to get. At any point Navi versus sk. Because I genuinely think this has like Renegades versus Dignitas in the quadruple execute game. [00:56:10] Speaker A: The only way it happens. Ass. The only way to. Is the bottom team from each group is not in playoffs. So that means Navi has to be fourth and not fifth in the group A and then SK has to be fourth and not fifth and then both of them have to win. It might be one it might be two lower bracket matches for them to match up. So un. Very unlikely. Very unlikely. [00:56:32] Speaker C: We're not gonna get. We're not gonna get the actual toilet bowl. [00:56:35] Speaker B: No, either that or Navi needs to place third in the group, I think three. Third from group A faces fourth from group B and third from group B faces four. [00:56:45] Speaker C: No. Okay. Yeah, that's not gonna happen. Let's be honest, after watching both of these teams, that's not gonna happen. [00:56:51] Speaker A: So, yeah, it's. It's unlikely. It's unlikely. So that was a group A rmc. What happened in group B? Where are the teams at the top? Where the teams at the bottom? [00:57:02] Speaker B: Well, to absolutely no one's surprised. Fnatic won their games and they played two series. So they are 20 in series score. 4 and 1 in terms of game score. Right below them is BDS. And that might surprise people until you realize that G2 hasn't played any many games. So they're not on it yet. BDS is 1 0. They won their series 2 0. [00:57:23] Speaker A: And BDS played SK too. [00:57:26] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:57:27] Speaker B: So let's go. You know what? We've got top three teams. We've got the two bottom teams. It's Team Heretics in fourth. They lost. SK is in fifth because they lost not just one series. They lost both their series and they lost both their series. 02. So they're 0 and 4 right now. Really at the bottom. Have not won a single game just yet. So. [00:57:45] Speaker A: But on the bright side, on the bright side for SK, they only have to play G2. Fanatic. [00:57:52] Speaker B: Yeah. Because G2 is a light spot. Yes. [00:57:56] Speaker A: That's all they have to do. They just have to beat like G2 and Fnatic and then not be fifth seed and then they can make playoffs. [00:58:02] Speaker C: It could happen. [00:58:03] Speaker B: You don't know. [00:58:04] Speaker A: You don't know. [00:58:05] Speaker B: You just need to beat Team Vitality and, you know, Giant X. Maybe we could get the sky. [00:58:11] Speaker C: We get the SK Vitality game that nobody wants. Actually, everybody wants it. [00:58:16] Speaker A: Who am I kidding at this point? They should play it anyway. They should just be like. Be like it. Let's stream scrims. You know, let's do it. [00:58:25] Speaker C: To ensure your spot next season, you two have to come in on the stage and play a best of five on like a random Wednesday. [00:58:32] Speaker B: Just like they have promo relegations the same way LTA does. [00:58:36] Speaker C: No, no. [00:58:38] Speaker B: If not the bottom, there's literally. [00:58:41] Speaker A: There's literally fan signs that the broadcast is showing and, like zooming in on that. Say, bring back like, like G, give Us a guest team Los Rotones. And it's like, yeah, I mean, honestly, they could do that. Like just drop vitality and bring in L and people would probably be much happier. One other thing I wanted to highlight though. This is one of the games I was able to catch. I watched this, watched this live shout out to Noah, the first pentakill of the LEC for split three. I picked one up. I believe he was playing Jinx and found like a really good team fight around a dragon. So that was awesome to see. Didn't win the series, but GX did take a game off of KC and I think that it just bolsters my opinion on gx. They are a team to respect. I don't think that they're the top two in their group. It is still KCM Coy that are fighting for that top spot. But GX are, they're putting their name in the conversation. They push kc. Noah had a really good game and Giant X could be, you know, that dark horse in playoffs. The way that I was saying it before we went live on the podcast was in my opinion, it's like MCO KC, G2 as the top three. I know Fnatic currently is 2.0in top of their group, but I imagine G2 will overtake them. Fnatic, I have in that fourth spot. GX maybe could beat out Fnatic like if there's a match between Fnatic, gx. I'm very excited for that. If that it's that like accumulates later on in the the bracket stage. So. But yeah, week one predictions weirdly went great for all of us. We got 100, but it was because the favorites won and we all, you know, predicted for the favorites. Week two predictions will be a little more interesting. Rmc, I realized I didn't put your name on there before. I just added it. So if you want to throw in your predictions, feel free. My bad. [01:00:24] Speaker B: I thought that was intentional because you know that I don't usually follow the lec. So it's just like, like, oh, I. [01:00:29] Speaker A: Will self report that. That just it wasn't there and I realized I was like, ah, whoops, That's. [01:00:34] Speaker C: A wild thing to do. So while he's doing that, can we Talk about the G2 shit post that they put out about them switching, switching SKU on and Broken Blade for week one and then how many people fell for it? Because I have people in my circles that like half followed the league and they're just like, wait, what's this G2 thing like they're switching top and jungle. And I'm like, I hate to break it to you. They don't play week one. It's a G2 shitpost if I've ever seen one before. [01:01:02] Speaker A: I did not see that, but that is very. [01:01:04] Speaker C: Yeah, they put out this, like, actual, like, statement that looks like it was a press release that was just like, you know, we've been trialing some stuff. Broken Blade's gonna be playing the jungle. There was some kind of memes in there. And Skimon's gonna play top. Broken Blade's gonna play the jungle. There was some, like, memes and stuff like that, like, callbacks. And then it was just. We. We will assess the. We will assess that for after this, for week two. And then I'm just like, God, they got it. [01:01:29] Speaker A: They. [01:01:29] Speaker C: I'm like, man, somebody fell for this and that. It was just like, wait, what do you mean, G2? It's like, oh, I. I know people that fell for it. Never mind. We got. It's basically getting sent hold, but you know, by an actual organization, so. [01:01:43] Speaker A: Nice. [01:01:43] Speaker C: Did I saw. Did I stall enough time? Okay. Yeah. [01:01:46] Speaker A: Oh, he stalled enough time. We have the predictions in now. We'll see. Go. Okay, now for week two of LEC, it is on Saturday, G2 versus Team Heretics. McCoy versus GX. And then on Sunday, we got Fnatic, BDS and KC versus M. Koi. They did not pick their opponents. It is just the single round robin between each group. So let's start off with Saturday. We get our first G2 games versus Team Heretics. We all have G2, 2 0. I don't even think there's anything to talk about here. Team Heretics not good enough to take a game off of G2 in my opinion. Then McCoy versus G, where things get a little more interesting. I do have MCO winning this, but because I respect GX and how well they've been playing, I do think it's a 2 and 1 for them. Badger, you agree? RMC, you still think 20 for McCoy though. Is this just Jojo Bias? [01:02:35] Speaker B: Yes, it is. [01:02:36] Speaker A: Just the Canadian back in the Canadian. Understandable, understandable. Then on Sunday, FNATIC versus bds. We all have fanatic across the board. I think BDS guess have enough to take down fnatic. I'm still not convincing fnatic. I. I know Poby came in. He's looking good for the team as the team tweeted out some roads lead to him, which I thought was very funny. Yep, some. Not all, but some roads Some roads. But I, I do think that again like if, if Nuke just gets popping, if, if ice gets popping like this team can actually do a lot of damage for BDS. So I, I respect them enough. I have a 2:1 Casey MCOI. I have MCOID taking it to one RMC has MC taken a 2o badger as KC taking it 2:1. You realize that there is a North American player on McCoy, right? [01:03:31] Speaker C: I'm aware. [01:03:32] Speaker A: Okay, well I rude of you. [01:03:35] Speaker C: I, I, I, I'm aware I'm taking all of my bias out and I, I still think Casey's probably one of the best teams if not the best team in Europe right now. [01:03:46] Speaker A: Now. Interesting. They did not make MSI question though for you. Will Vladdy play or will Niski play? Because Niski is fighting for that spot. [01:03:56] Speaker C: I don't see a world where Niski's in yet. I, especially in a game of this magnitude against a team like mco. I feel like it's going to be a, a little bit of a time before. Are they actually considering bringing NISKI into play mid lane for this? [01:04:15] Speaker B: That's the thing Badger. The fact they're considering this game the middle makes me really not trust Casey right now. [01:04:21] Speaker A: Yeah. So Niski was signed as like a positional coach slash mid lane player and they oh then public publicly said yeah he will be. Or no, it wasn't them, it was Calist. Fucking Kalist in an interview just dropped it like oh yeah, no, he's fighting for the spot. It's like okay, cool. That sounds like a great environment to be in. So that's what's going on in case. [01:04:48] Speaker C: Okay, maybe you know what, I'll stick to my guns. I'll stick to my guns. Maybe respect. Maybe Vlad has something in his contractor that he can't play on Tuesdays and with this stupid like midweek. [01:04:59] Speaker A: No, no, that's week four. That's week four that they're playing on Monday. Tuesday we're not going to cover. [01:05:03] Speaker C: They don't even play that. They don't even play that. Never mind. All right. Just kidding. What are we doing? Like genuinely, are we serious as a like is the west like serious at all? [01:05:15] Speaker A: Ok, you know what? [01:05:16] Speaker C: That's a time for story for another time. [01:05:18] Speaker A: Let me tell you. Niski was serious about not wanting to play support for Vitality. I can at least. [01:05:23] Speaker C: Yes, agreed. He wanted that. [01:05:27] Speaker A: He wanted the out of support for vitality. All right, well that, that's everything that we have for this week. Again, sorry for the lack of Lec kind of analysis, but I just, I didn't catch a lot of the games. And Yanni's the other guy that watches like all the LEC games. He's not on this week, but hopefully next week we'll have a little more to talk about about for lec. Plus, it will not be super weak. So there will only be two days of games to talk about. But thanks for tuning in, everybody. That is it for LTA and LEC action and another week, another episode of the league rundown rmc. If people had the time, if they had the interest, if they really believed in it and wanted to leave a review, how many stars, in your opinion, should they leave for us? [01:06:09] Speaker B: How many stars? That's kind of tough. One. I'd say one for each letter of disguise carry of their ID carry. So that's. [01:06:17] Speaker A: That's not how. I mean, if you want to do it, that's five. That's five. [01:06:26] Speaker B: You want to do it for henna Blame kangas. [01:06:29] Speaker A: Yeah, no, that's on me. That's on me. But for real, that's five. Thank you so much, rfc. And you didn't have to bring it up and throw me in the dirt again, but you did anyway. I'm gonna remember that. Thanks for listening, everybody. Don't forget that we love you guys are not back. [01:06:40] Speaker B: XP Tag Just did it. [01:06:42] Speaker A: See you next time. [01:06:44] Speaker B: Oh yes, Daddy. [01:06:48] Speaker C: That probably the best idea wherever we're at. [01:06:50] Speaker A: Actually, Sam.
