[00:00:11] Speaker A: The amazing gets hit Kimmy kids a little too far here. [00:00:14] Speaker B: He's gonna have to try and get [00:00:15] Speaker A: himself up Living o Tillery and the rest of the shots of fire. Zion is just killing the next Zion can eat single handedly win the game by game by game by game by [00:00:26] Speaker C: should be. [00:00:27] Speaker A: Oh my God. Stupid. Passes through and manages to the table with Messiah tanking it up. I do not believe he just believe. [00:00:41] Speaker B: What. [00:00:42] Speaker A: I cannot understand this game. Unicorns of love. [00:00:48] Speaker B: It wasn't a mutant. They're Nexus. [00:01:05] Speaker A: Hello and welcome to episode 629 of the League Rundown. This is your 2026 World Play Ins preview episode and it is lovingly entitled it's the most wonderful time of the League Year. I'm Kangas, your host. I'm joined by three esteemed co hosts to kick off Worlds season. Up first, fresh out of the can. Oh, we got Badger. [00:01:30] Speaker D: It's, it's truly the best time of year because like we're right in that crisp point where like Valorant Champs is just wrapping up immediately into Worlds. Plus all these like other secondary tournaments that we got going on. It's pretty good. It's pretty good. The, the Riot Esports fans are eating pretty good at this point. [00:01:48] Speaker A: Mm, it is. Every time this year comes up or this time of the year comes up, it's like, oh, she gets shivers. She's jitty with excitement. Jitter, jittery. There we go. [00:01:57] Speaker D: That's a word. [00:01:57] Speaker A: Also joining us, jitty is a word. Have the one and only and the big bickle pickle. [00:02:03] Speaker C: You know, Badger, you talk about all the ongoing international events. Demacia Cup's really starting to look like World's Light with how the results are going. [00:02:14] Speaker A: Dude, I stayed up till 3:30am Usually I just like watch them in the morning. But I saw Fly Quest win game four. I was like in bed laying down, I was like, all right, let's just check in. Win game four. I was like, oh, I'm staying up for game five. I really wish I did not stay up for that game. Oh, that was depression. We can talk all about that later. But before that, let's introduce the final member of the podcast, one of the best card game players in the world. Not. It's Yanni. [00:02:42] Speaker D: Wow. I. [00:02:45] Speaker B: You couldn't see it, but if I had my arms raised up and everything, like Randy Orton, I was like, ah, yes, finally my genius is shown. I'm really happy you guys pivoted slightly into the Demacia cup because I was gonna say like, yeah, you Guys are all ready for Worlds. I'm like, you know, I might be done with this tournament, but I don't know yet. I don't know if I'm gonna be on finals or not. All I know is that KT Vitality match was fire and I was glad to be a part of it. But I'm so excited though. This is gonna shout out of course [00:03:12] Speaker A: to all the LPL unofficial English folk that are covering all of the Demacia cup as well. It's been awesome coverage there. Let's just start with that. I mean we got a lot talk about this week leading into Worlds. Some fun returns for players, some cool opinion pieces here, but Demacia cup is the most recent thing that just happened. We just saw some quarterfinals last night. So Yanni, take it away. Where are we in the Demacia Cup? Who is still in the running and advancing through semi finals. [00:03:40] Speaker B: So our semi final matchups are set. KT Rolster will be taking on BNK Fear X and then Team W E the last hope of the LPL will be taking on the Bros. Hanjin be on Brion. Sorry. Anyway, this quarterfinals slate was so awesome. We were one LGD throne game away from having back to back 10 game days. KT with the 3:2 over Vitality which was such an awesome series. BNK Ferx A32 over JDG obviously team wow beating out Fly Quest. But then the bros 31 over LGD. But LGD had a lead in in one of the games that they threw [00:04:23] Speaker A: and they were not specifically the Vitality one. That was a reverse sweep, right? That was the one that I was [00:04:28] Speaker B: on and you know Spring MVP Knock Knocko. No. Knock Knock. No, he. [00:04:35] Speaker A: No, he had a very knock knock. [00:04:39] Speaker B: He got ran over in five games by Perfect. He got ran over every single game. Like even the game where he was rumble into Cassante was not great and it was really disappointing. Actually I was highly disappointed in Knock Knocko. Especially because Perfect has some of the worst laning stats in LCK rounds. 3, 4 compared to knock knocko has some of the best laning stats in the lec. So this is, you know the second best top laner in the LEC against the second worst top laner statistically in the lck. And Nagago just got beat all five games. It was bad. I mean his. His first death in game five was appalling. He wards properly for the jungle gank and just shoves the wave in and I guess just isn't looking at his mini map and Just dies for it. It was disappointing. [00:05:31] Speaker A: Have you seen the meme? Like the invincible meme? Like, I thought you were stronger. [00:05:34] Speaker B: Yeah, exactly. [00:05:36] Speaker A: It was exactly where Celsi Gay top lane here. Like, oh, no. Yeah, I didn' realize I haven't done these internationals. You know. Also, let's get this straight, I think. And you can disagree, but I think it should be not Naco when he's doing poorly. [00:05:50] Speaker B: Yeah, maybe not. Not. Maybe not Nako, you know? [00:05:53] Speaker A: Yeah. You see, the one thing maybe. Yeah, maybe not. [00:05:56] Speaker B: The one thing I love, though. Listen, the one thing I love about his name is that when he was. He made a nice play on Ambessa to break into the base of. Of kt and I was like, he's knock, knock, knocko on the door, you know. [00:06:08] Speaker A: Ah, that's good. That's good. No, there's a lot of fun stuff you can do with his name as a. As a caster. [00:06:12] Speaker B: Yeah. He just needs to start winning. [00:06:14] Speaker A: Yes, yes. Because unfortunately, otherwise they will be negative things that are said with his name. Okay, so Biggle, it seems like you've been following the Demacia cup as well. What. What matches or who do you think is going to win it? Let's get predictions. We'll just finish off with that. You think kt, Kat. That does make sense, actually. [00:06:35] Speaker C: They were my favorite coming in. They were my favorite coming out of group stage. They're my favorite coming out of quarters. Like. Yes. Am I slightly concerned the fact that vitality took them to five games, but I think that was more KT just not doing much and playing with the food until suddenly they're like, oh, we have to try. And then it happened. The KT just took over cars. He put up a goddamn fight, though. [00:07:05] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm gonna. I was gonna say, I don't know about that fifth game. Like, games. No, games three and four. Like, KT just ran them over. I mean, kt. KT had a huge leading game too, right? They were. [00:07:15] Speaker C: Oh, Katie had a 9K gold lead. [00:07:17] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah, it was. It was something ridiculous. And they. And they threw it right. And you know, but. But that Game 5, I think, is very telling how close that Game 5 was wired. [00:07:27] Speaker C: Such a good game. It just came down to cars. He getting caught one too many times. [00:07:32] Speaker B: Came down to cars he getting hit by a Vex ultimate that very clearly did not hit him. [00:07:37] Speaker C: Oh, yes. [00:07:39] Speaker D: Yeah, that one was kind of rough. [00:07:41] Speaker A: Did he get lollipops? [00:07:44] Speaker B: As Cayman put it, a generous hitbox. [00:07:49] Speaker A: That's good. I like that a lot. That's that's unfortunate. Sometimes it do happen like that. Badger do you agree KT winner? [00:07:57] Speaker D: Yeah, I mean it was just the KT Coronation tournament basically going into it from the start and if you thought otherwise I one you're crazy. Two, can you share whatever substance you're on that's getting you to be the point of that Crazy. [00:08:11] Speaker A: So probably not legal in in your state or any states for that reason. [00:08:18] Speaker C: Just go ask Duffy. He's got full faith in we. Does it have anything to do that he has no clue about what the games are and just likes we Yep. [00:08:25] Speaker B: Hey, I also, I also have full faith in W e. I in fact [00:08:31] Speaker A: do you predict WD to win it? [00:08:33] Speaker B: I in fact think that Fly Quest was probably one of the worst matchups they could have drawn and that's why they went five games. I don't think any of these other teams are going to be willing to try to match their early aggression. [00:08:45] Speaker A: Curious. Interesting. [00:08:47] Speaker B: And we saw, I mean we saw KT try to do that against vitality and like oh, the first two games they got first blooded for it and like had really bad starts because of it. [00:09:00] Speaker A: Well, I only saw very limited games and I was very sleepy while watching these games. [00:09:06] Speaker B: Sometimes you see the people. [00:09:08] Speaker A: But I will say we did kind of run over the bot lane a little bit and also Geckos did not look great on the Aatrox. But yeah, I'm getting, I'm getting real sick of a scene like Caitlyn and Jen Flight Quest. [00:09:26] Speaker B: Well, have I got news for you about Caitlyn in the next patch. [00:09:30] Speaker A: Oh, it's okay. Well let's say I'll save that for later. I'll save that for later because it's time to move on to our next news topic. A returning player. Pretty exciting to talk about this one because of how emotional it was when he departed his whole last dance conversation. Badger I am of course Talking about the one, the only, the world champion of 2022, the greatest data carry of all time returning from military service and it looks like he's already got a team. So what do you what do you think about the likelihood of him coming back rumored? Is this all rumors or do you think it's rumors? [00:10:06] Speaker D: So it's very interesting the fact so the rumor is at this point Deft is going to come back for military service. He's been playing solo queue during his training to keep his form up and he's gonna join Nong Shim. My only question in the situation is why the did you pick up Diabble if you're gonna just go for depth anyways. Unless you want like insurance just in case like he doesn't go to your team. I mean there's always the. I don't want to say the Casey option is floating right there and there's you know, a couple of other teams. God, please don't go to the poopers. I swear to God, if your career just ends with you playing for DN with PIO sick. I'm. I, I will. I, I'm gonna be so sad. But I just think it's the idea that he's floating a potential comeback after this. I mean we don't really see too many players come back from like this two year mandatory military service. We've only ever come back and play league. [00:11:02] Speaker C: We've only ever only and ole. Right. [00:11:05] Speaker B: Only. Olay. It has never happened before in the LCK where the player has left. [00:11:10] Speaker A: I was gonna say okay because didn't. Didn't forgiven try and come back. [00:11:15] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:11:16] Speaker C: That was Greek military service. [00:11:17] Speaker B: Yeah. From his mandatory Greek military service. Shout out my dad for dodging that Anyway. And he was, he was terrible. He was God awful. When he came back he had even less hair and even less skill at AD carry. That guy. That guy's like my favorite player of all time for obvious. [00:11:33] Speaker D: Yeah. So I mean there's a case in Valorant where it's worked out really well for a player but I don't think league you can have that like same trans horrible set of skills just based on being away from this like what, what a shooter game? [00:11:49] Speaker B: Listen, listen. The concept of a role quest is foreign to death, right? [00:11:54] Speaker D: I mean obviously he doesn't know because he's been playing. The fact that like there, there's so many like hours that go into scrims and like the fact that they're you know, Basically it's a 247 thing at this point. And if he's on military service it's going to take him a lot of time to come back is the thing about it. I just think it's kind of weird that nonchalant is the team that's like pursuing him at this point. [00:12:17] Speaker C: That has to mean nonchalance blowing everything up, right? [00:12:22] Speaker D: Yeah. Unless they're like having him roll roll swap to support like they had like Ghost was forced to do. Please God, don't let that happen either. [00:12:30] Speaker C: There's no way we see 2027amid jungle of scouts with theft. Right? [00:12:39] Speaker A: Hey listen, it works. Back in the day it worked for [00:12:44] Speaker D: score that, that, that's a thing, right? [00:12:49] Speaker A: Well, either way, however you slice it, I think it's cool to see him at least, like, talked about. Whether it's a rumor and it means nothing or it actually comes to be. I. I love Death as a player. His story was so cool, especially the world story. He made the run. He's a literal world champion. So if he does want to come back, I would love to see him back in pro play and we'll see what team he ends up on. [00:13:13] Speaker B: Okay. [00:13:14] Speaker A: What are other things? I feel like there's a lot of stuff. So we did Demacia Cup. We did that. Promotion Tournament time, baby. Shout out Congratulations to Disguised for defending their LCS spot. There were so many tournaments going on, this one probably got buried under a lot of the noise. But Disguised took down Maryville after getting dropped into the lower bracket much earlier by the collegiate squad. It was the first time a collegiate team had beaten an LCS team in like a Riot sanctioned event. Really cool story for Maryville, but then they just kind of fell apart like disguise. Three O's Cupid in the lower bracket finals. Three O's Maryville in the finals and retained the LCS position. It really looked like they were going to be shaky and have to fight tooth and nail for it, but no, they just kind of walked in, took it back. But still cool for Disguised and all the the DSG fans, because there are a decent amount of DSG fans that show up in the studio every week when they play and just have to watch their team get absolutely waffle stopped and their teeth kicked in. And it's kind of depressing, but they show up every week and they're there. So they're still there. [00:14:22] Speaker D: Shout out to call me. Yeah, that finals performance, it was insane. [00:14:27] Speaker B: If there's one thing that I could say about the Sky's run is what do. What do the athletes say? I don't play school. I play. I play. Insert my sport here. It's exactly what this guy said, the mayor. We don't play school. We play League of Legends. Get out of here. The spot's ours. [00:14:43] Speaker A: It would have caused a lot of interesting conversations. [00:14:46] Speaker B: It would have certainly been fun. [00:14:48] Speaker A: Mark Z even chimed in, the commissioner of the lcs, because a lot of people were like, well, what happens if Maryville wins? Can a collegiate team compete in the lcs? That's kind of odd. And essentially it's like, no. The team, the roster, if they wanted to compete, could find essentially like another org to sponsor. [00:15:08] Speaker B: Totally not Marville University skin, right? [00:15:11] Speaker A: Yeah, but it Would have been at least like the same players that qualified in but they would not have been able to compete under the Maryville banner. And Maryville, the university would not like have a spot in the league because that. That would cause all kinds of confusion. [00:15:26] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:26] Speaker D: Who owns the team? [00:15:29] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:29] Speaker A: Is it the school? Is it the esports? Manage like what's going on? [00:15:35] Speaker B: Yeah. Is it. Is it clergy? Like I don't know. [00:15:38] Speaker A: Could you imagine? [00:15:39] Speaker B: Oh man. [00:15:41] Speaker D: Running back. [00:15:43] Speaker B: Yeah. That would have been disaster at that point. [00:15:47] Speaker A: But we avoided that. [00:15:48] Speaker B: We got the five. The five friends in a dream rule. You know, if you have. You know, it would have just been players part two, right? [00:15:54] Speaker D: Yep. [00:15:55] Speaker C: The Tony top rule. [00:15:56] Speaker B: The Tony top rule is crazy. [00:15:59] Speaker A: Oh, I. I really wish that we got a player season two. That was such a fun show. It's on YouTub for free right now. [00:16:06] Speaker B: Is it? [00:16:07] Speaker A: Because where I can't find on Paramount plus if you just YouTube search. [00:16:11] Speaker B: Yeah, I haven't been able to find it. I think it's like all gone. Unless you looked recently. [00:16:14] Speaker A: Maybe it's on the Twitch. Maybe it's on like Riot games is like official Twitch. It's somewhere. I. I'll. We can find it later. But go watch that show if you have. [00:16:25] Speaker D: Not yet. [00:16:25] Speaker A: It's very funny. Okay. Other news. A lot of news going around World song was released. Just getting back into the world's topic here. Know my name from true damage. Maybe I don't know. Didn't see the video and people are [00:16:41] Speaker B: pretty opinion about it. [00:16:45] Speaker A: Yeah, I. I feel like I. In terms of the song, I'll go first here because I want to get everyone's opinions on the song and then the music video. Music video was awesome. Like the animation was incredible. I loved the narrative and I know yes, it was like a full faker narrative. But his story the last three years has been incredible. Like winning back to back to back is crazy. And they did a really good job of kind of paying homage to his. His first win all the way up to now and like his whole story song itself. I. I'm like it's the least offensive world's anthem. It just kind of feels like they asked Grock, hey, can you just like make a template from all the other world songs? And then like we're just gonna model this world song after that template. It doesn't really do anything new or surprising or exciting for me. And it just hits the same beats as some other world's anthems. But that being said, it is far from my least favorite anthem. I would put it Comfortably in, like, bottom of the middle of the pack. I don't hate it, but I'm not, like, in love with it, so that's where I stand. Yanni, I'm gonna throw it to you and then we'll do the other guys. So. [00:17:57] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:17:57] Speaker A: Yanni, where are you on Know My Name? [00:17:58] Speaker B: Oh, I couldn't disagree more with you, Kangas. I have it as the second best world song. [00:18:03] Speaker A: Yeah. You're smoking? [00:18:04] Speaker B: Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. And I'll. I'll talk. [00:18:06] Speaker A: We kick this guy out of the. [00:18:07] Speaker B: I'll. I'll tell you. I'll tell you why. So I don't go just based purely off the song. I. We have to incorporate everything to it. Right. The music video is phenomenal. It was awesome. Yeah, the. Everybody's saying, like, the song is the same as everything else. It really isn't. The. The tempo of the song is fundamentally different than a lot of the other songs that they've done. Like, this is probably one of the faster songs they've done in terms of tempo since it's like, really? Yeah. It's faster than Gods. It's faster than Rise. [00:18:40] Speaker A: Gods is probably one of the slowest. [00:18:42] Speaker B: Yes. It's faster than Gods. It's faster than Rise. It's faster than Takeovers. [00:18:47] Speaker A: Much like Sacrifice. You listen to Sacrifice and then listen to Know my name. It's like this. [00:18:53] Speaker B: All right. I don't know. [00:18:54] Speaker D: Okay. That's actually crazy. [00:18:56] Speaker B: That's insane. [00:18:57] Speaker D: It's actually kind of. You. [00:18:58] Speaker B: You got to get your ears checked, bud. You know, the last time I saw you, I didn't see any ears. Like, I wasn't looking at your ears, but I didn't see them. So, like, you could convince me that Kangas doesn't have just a thumb. [00:19:10] Speaker A: I actually. [00:19:11] Speaker C: I've known. [00:19:12] Speaker B: Yeah, you know what? [00:19:12] Speaker A: You might be just, you know, like Spy Kids, like those thumb guys. [00:19:19] Speaker D: Jesus. [00:19:20] Speaker B: That's crazy. [00:19:22] Speaker A: So you love. [00:19:22] Speaker B: Know my name. Yeah. [00:19:23] Speaker A: You actually rank it very highly. [00:19:25] Speaker B: I think it's okay now, for what [00:19:27] Speaker A: it's worth, I love that for you, it's always a subjective. [00:19:29] Speaker D: I did. [00:19:29] Speaker B: I did drop an entire tier list. There's only one song that I put in F tier, and it was Worlds Collide. And there's only one song, one world song that is not on my playlist, and it is Worlds Collide. I. So I like. Despite where I've put them, I like every single world song except for Worlds [00:19:44] Speaker D: Collide, which I think is actually crazy in itself, but that's beside the point. [00:19:49] Speaker B: What that I like every single one. Or that I put worlds. [00:19:51] Speaker D: No, no, that you. That you don't like Worlds Collide. [00:19:53] Speaker B: Yeah, no, that one stunk. [00:19:57] Speaker A: I think it's okay. [00:19:58] Speaker B: I pissed off the heroes with that one. They have. They've got very positive opinions associated with World's Collide. [00:20:04] Speaker A: I think Sacrifice is my least favorite. I really don't like up there. [00:20:08] Speaker B: For me, it's up there. [00:20:09] Speaker A: Yeah, it's just, like, too slow. But that all. That one also, I feel, has the same, like, formulaic feeling to it. But anyway, I've talked too much. Let's get Badger's thoughts. Badger, what do you think about the world song? [00:20:22] Speaker D: I. I think it's probably, like, four for me. I. I think I would go Rise, Gods, sacrifice, and then. [00:20:32] Speaker A: No, my name. [00:20:33] Speaker B: Fellow sacrifice enjoyer. Big fan. [00:20:37] Speaker D: I think it's just. It's just a good song. Like, you know, slowing down the temple really worked out well for him, kind of. [00:20:44] Speaker B: Yeah. This guy makes his whole life worth the sacrifice. [00:20:48] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:20:49] Speaker A: Okay. All right. So know My Name. Top four, but not in the top three. Not a podium finish. Bickle, your last stop. What do you think about Know My Name? [00:20:59] Speaker C: I think I'm closer to where Badger is on this. I think I got it, like, fourth or fifth. [00:21:07] Speaker B: Oh, I'd say solid. [00:21:09] Speaker C: It's behind Rise, it's behind Gods, it's behind Warriors. [00:21:14] Speaker A: And is it ahead of Legends never Die? [00:21:18] Speaker C: Yes. [00:21:19] Speaker B: I. I don't know how to tell you. I don't know how to tell you. [00:21:21] Speaker C: Legends Never Die is Never die sort [00:21:23] Speaker A: of song, and that's crazy. [00:21:26] Speaker C: I. It's fighting for fourth with a very controversial song that I actually big for. [00:21:32] Speaker B: No Ignite. [00:21:34] Speaker C: I love Ignite. [00:21:35] Speaker B: I love Ignite too. Ignite is number six for me. [00:21:39] Speaker C: Ignite ignites in my top five. It's just a matter of. [00:21:43] Speaker B: I got beat by Star Walking for me. I love star. [00:21:46] Speaker A: I love star walking. [00:21:47] Speaker D: Also. [00:21:49] Speaker C: I'm not a star Walking fan. [00:21:51] Speaker A: Star Walking. I was a hater when it first came out. I jumped on the bandwagon of, like, this is not a world song. This sounds nothing like a world song. I don't like it. But now with hindsight looking back, I'm like, it's is so unique, and I know it wasn't written to be a world song and that you can still hold against it, but, man, don't ever say it's over if I breathe. [00:22:11] Speaker B: Yo, I got over inundated with it at. Because I went to. I went to Swiss and Quarters. So after a while, like, at First I was like, not as positive. And then I was like, you know what? This song is actually just really good. I mean. [00:22:25] Speaker A: Yeah, it's. It's a good one. Okay, well, hey, we all have know my name differently ranked and I love conversations like this because there is truthfully no wrong answer. It is just a subjective, like, matter of taste. But it's fun because it gets people riled up and everyone's got a lot of opinions. [00:22:45] Speaker D: The people going get stuff. [00:22:47] Speaker B: It's provocative. [00:22:49] Speaker A: I'm surprised. I actually had it ranked the lowest out of the group though. So overall it seems like we are very positive on this song because even I like don't have it at the bottom. Like, I think it's a fine song. There's definitely songs that I dislike more for World's anthems. But I, I. Yeah, I just wasn't like. It didn't speak to my soul, you know. Yeah. [00:23:08] Speaker B: I just have one problem with the song. I still don't know their name. They. They said now you know my name, but they never told me. Well, they said now you know my name, but they never told me their name. [00:23:18] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:18] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:23:19] Speaker D: What's his name? What's his name? [00:23:20] Speaker B: I got nothing on his name. [00:23:24] Speaker A: World's Crystal Balls the next thing for worlds. Before we actually get into talking about plans itself, Crystal Balls is up and live shout out to the community for creating our own in in community pickums as well. We do have a link to that I believe in the community Discord right now. So you can join the leaderboard. I've joined Yachi and Badger. Have you two joined? I know Bickle was on. [00:23:48] Speaker B: Oh, I haven't. I. I will do so after but I also recording. [00:23:52] Speaker D: I also did my picks on Sunday when it opened up and I kind of haven't really logged in to the website since then, so. [00:23:59] Speaker A: Okay, well there's a link in our host chat and then you should if [00:24:02] Speaker B: you're even after I made my picks. Is it okay? Can I. Can I still join? [00:24:05] Speaker D: Yeah, you can. You can. [00:24:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:06] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:24:07] Speaker A: You should be able to. [00:24:07] Speaker B: Okay. [00:24:07] Speaker A: It'll just like have whatever picks you've already picked. But everybody that's listening to this. If you have not joined yet, hop into the community discord. Find the link in the world joined. We do have a link. [00:24:17] Speaker B: Maybe I could just. [00:24:18] Speaker A: There. And then we also have the crystal ball conversation because that I haven't done Microsoft all yet but a lot of people were talking about it. There's some weird picks. Badger, what were some of the picks that you wanted to highlight, though, because you have done yours, right? [00:24:34] Speaker D: Yeah. Yeah. So there's some of them that I'm just like. I'm just not gonna, like, we're not gonna acknowledge. We're just gonna kind of breeze over real fast. It's like, we'll faker reach 700 world's kills this year. He's at 616. He needs 84 in this world. There's. Will Teemo be picked? Will we see any pro get 15 kills in a single game? What else is there? There's a lot of, like, Han was interesting. The Hanwha vs T1 ones are weird because there's like, which team will place higher, Hanwha or T1. And then it's like, which. Which will have more kills, pays or guma? Usually, like, they're trying to push that narrative and it's like, it feels weird. So, like, the three that I want to post to the. The people who have already done it and Kangas, you can follow along too. And since you've already been doing your prep stuff for Worlds, congratulations on Cassie, by the way. We haven't acknowledged it on Congratulations on the cat on. On the podcast. [00:25:29] Speaker A: So appreciate it. [00:25:30] Speaker B: So proud of you, brother. [00:25:32] Speaker D: So the ones that I kind of just want to highlight or go over real quick are what champion will have the highest presence? What champ will have the highest win rate in minimum of five games, and then which will have the highest average deaths per game? Those are the three that I just wanted to listen. I got mine locked in specific ones. [00:25:51] Speaker A: Well, the third one's obvious. It's always Nautilus. [00:25:54] Speaker C: Right? [00:25:54] Speaker A: Like. [00:25:54] Speaker B: Well, that's. [00:25:55] Speaker D: Well, see, that's the thing. [00:25:56] Speaker B: It's just like, not always Nautilus. [00:25:58] Speaker D: It's not always. [00:25:59] Speaker A: Nautilus is always this obvious. [00:26:02] Speaker B: But I'll kick things off and say that Nautilus was my pick this time around. [00:26:06] Speaker D: Yeah, Nautilus is also my pick this time around. [00:26:08] Speaker A: I would pick Nautilus if I had to for that. Okay, cool. [00:26:11] Speaker D: What about yours? Going forward to backwards or backwards to forward? What's your. What's your highest average deaths per game champion that you picked? [00:26:21] Speaker A: Oh, is that a question for Pickle? I believe Biggle has stepped away for a moment, as is in the chat right now. Yeah, surprise. Little peek behind the Peek under the hood for everybody listening. Sometimes we message each other in the discord if we have to get up and go. So sometimes I just didn't notice that. [00:26:38] Speaker D: Okay, we'll just go to the next one. We'll just rapid fire the rest of these off and then we'll just get his at the end of it. So what champion will have the highest win rate in a minimum of five games played? [00:26:51] Speaker B: Highest. [00:26:52] Speaker D: Yanni, top of your head. What are you thinking right now? [00:26:54] Speaker B: So typically I go with Silas because Silas has been an excellent counter pick. However, that hasn't really worked out and this champion that I'm gonna select has gone down in priority but is also like a game winning counter pick. I'm going with Poppy. [00:27:08] Speaker A: Oh, that's actually really interesting. [00:27:11] Speaker D: I wish I thought of that. Kangas off the top of your dome right now. What are you thinking? [00:27:20] Speaker A: I feel like. Was that, was that like Toronto slang? [00:27:27] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:28] Speaker A: That's crazy. [00:27:29] Speaker B: Yeah, brother. [00:27:29] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:27:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:27:31] Speaker C: Okay. [00:27:31] Speaker A: Anyway, I, I'm gonna go with another one that's kind of like more of a counter pick and it is just crushing in certain matchups. I'm gonna go Trundle. I feel like if you get the right Trundle angle, Trundle can actually just kind of take over games. It would be like that or Olaf for me, but I feel like Trundle's a little more stable whereas Olaf oftentimes like just doesn't get rolling. So if there's tanks on the enemy team and you got a room for Trundle in a fearless draft, I think Trundle's the pick. [00:27:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Don't you know, has has applications in two lanes. I think more than Olaf, he's counter [00:28:05] Speaker A: pickable, he's great at certain comps and he's not going to be picked super early in fearless drafts. So he's probably only going to have like five to 10 games in the tournament, I would guess. [00:28:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:15] Speaker D: Okay. [00:28:16] Speaker A: What you got? [00:28:17] Speaker D: I went Shyvana. [00:28:19] Speaker B: Okay. I think that one's interesting. [00:28:22] Speaker D: I think it's interesting just based on the fact that like it was really good going into this like last like playoff cycle. It got some nerves. It still is playable and the people who are committed to playing Shyvana will know how to play the champion. It's not going to be one of those that it's going to get slogged down by teams and like the play ins or like in these lower tier teams. I feel like it's one of those that it's just, it's going to be reserved for the Junglers who are like the upper echelon tier of junglers in the world and they're going to be the ones that decide to pick it in these games. I don't think it's going to get slogged down by the trash. [00:29:01] Speaker C: You think it'll be low enough that only the people who are really good at it pick it. [00:29:06] Speaker D: Yeah, I think it's good. I think it's just. It's not as strong as it used to be and there's going to be certain situations like it's going to require like the Silas ban and there's going to be all this other opportunity for it. It's basically a counter pick at this point. You're not really blinding it. So I just think it just comes down to the fact that all those factors put together. So. And then. Okay, we'll come back to you because we'll just get your three across the board when we do it because we kind of went backwards to forwards. [00:29:34] Speaker C: That's fair. [00:29:35] Speaker D: So I said so. All right, which champion will have the highest presence, percentage of games picked or banned across all the drafts? I think this one's very interesting. So we'll start with Bickle on this one. Pickle, what you got, bud? [00:29:51] Speaker C: I can't pull it up right now because lol. Esports is being weird, but I'm fairly sure you go first. [00:29:56] Speaker B: Then I can go. [00:29:56] Speaker C: I think I put Kiana. [00:29:58] Speaker B: Oh, that one's interesting. Disagree. [00:30:01] Speaker A: That's a very interesting disagree. [00:30:05] Speaker B: Mine, that's actually fascinating. Mine is an ad carry. I'm going with Ezreal. [00:30:10] Speaker D: Damn it, dude. That's awesome. [00:30:12] Speaker A: Oh, were you also as. [00:30:13] Speaker D: Yeah, no. Ezra's like. It was gonna be like 100 pick band. [00:30:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:30:17] Speaker D: Tournament. [00:30:17] Speaker B: Come on, guys. [00:30:19] Speaker D: Why? [00:30:20] Speaker B: Because I'll tell you exactly. [00:30:22] Speaker D: Strong in the meta. [00:30:23] Speaker B: Yeah. You know. Yeah, you go, you go. [00:30:25] Speaker D: You let him know he's strong in the meta. He's safe. You really want to be playing towards the top side this tournament. That's. That's my read on the meta. I don't know kangas how many conversations you've had with people going into it, but this is going to be a very top jungle mid focused tournament. And if supports are able to roam and put themselves into situations where they're going to feel like their ad carry can play fairly safe on the bot side of the map. Who's the safest ad carry in the game besides Ezreal? You're just going to be able to hold off in the 1v2 lanes if. If need be. You'll be able to mystic shot farm from range. Just be able to play towards back towards your turret. Have that situation where you can play back and not have to worry about getting dove. If the jungler is on the other side of the map, it's going to make it so that it's harder for them to dive on you on the bot turret and put your support in a situation where they can win the 4v2 or 4v3 on the other side of the map if the other team doesn't match it and objective snowballs get rolling and you're able to carry the mid game or the early game into the mid game into the late game and win games. [00:31:31] Speaker B: I think it runs a little bit deeper than that too. I think that it starts in draft because you could draft the poke lane or you could say, hey, we're going to take an Engage champion here because like we want the engage. And it's like, okay, this is still a fine lane because it's just an Ezreal lane, right? And the unique part about Ezreal is that Ezreal can scrap like M2V2 skirmishes. Like so you're not just locked into playing weak side Ezreal, you can play strong side. With Poke, you can play strong side with Engage, you can play weak side. Like there's just so many options that you have as a team that allow you to change your strategy on a dime in the middle of a game based on conditions elsewhere on the map. [00:32:15] Speaker A: Well, I think that's a good choice. I will say part of me just wants to go like a zero just because it's God. [00:32:24] Speaker B: But listen, he got buffed this patch, right? World's patch. [00:32:26] Speaker A: No, not this next patch. [00:32:28] Speaker C: It's 21. [00:32:30] Speaker A: I'm looking at the patches right now. The only other thought I thought maybe for like competitive is Kenan or. Sorry, this was for the previous one for like more than five games. [00:32:39] Speaker C: Oh, that's for highest win rate. [00:32:42] Speaker A: Yeah. I was thinking Kenna could be a pick for that but like for this one, which is highest presence? I'm not really seeing anything from the recent buffs. Maybe Lucian just because he got a mini buff this patch and he had the adjustment last patch where they took away some of his passive on hit bonuses that he gets from like barely and Nami and gave more to his Q. And so that means that you can play him with like Rells and Alistair's a little more now more engage supports as opposed to being locked in with just the enchanters. But that said, I don't think it's enough to make Lucian like the most presence champion. I think it just gives him a couple more options. So I don't have a good pick for that one, but I think that's a really cool one. So I guess I'll just steal your guys's homework. But, yeah, Crucibles is fun. It's a fun time. I haven't done my whole pick yet, but I will get in and do that at some point after this episode. Thanks, Badger, for highlighting. [00:33:30] Speaker D: Wait, we gotta go. We gotta get pickles across the board. [00:33:32] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, pickle real quick, bottom to top. [00:33:35] Speaker D: All right, so recap. Highest, highest presence champ across all drafts. [00:33:40] Speaker C: For you, presence champ, I have Kiana. [00:33:43] Speaker D: Okay, what's the highest win rate champ? You have Shem. Oh, I like that one. And then highest average deaths. [00:33:52] Speaker C: Let's join the Nautilus Death fund. [00:33:55] Speaker B: Okay. [00:33:56] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, there it is. Four for four on. [00:33:59] Speaker A: Does anybody remember who won that last [00:34:02] Speaker D: year in terms of highest deaths like Jarvan? [00:34:05] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, I think it was. [00:34:06] Speaker A: It's gonna be lethality Jarvan. [00:34:08] Speaker B: This year that champion is not getting picked nearly as much. [00:34:11] Speaker D: No, Jarvan's. Jarvan's gonna be very heavily banned throughout the tournament, I suppose. [00:34:17] Speaker A: Yeah, okay, fair enough. Cool. Well, there we go. That's all of our world's preview. Well, not world's Preview. Our teaser stuff of the adjacent news around Worlds. And that will also do it for our news around the horn reminder. Again, join the community. Discord. Get that link to join our pick' EMS page. Get on the leaderboards. We'll be updating that as we go along throughout Worlds Tournament. And also shout out to everybody who supports the podcast, either through our Patreon or through the merch store, which, by the way, a little teaser. Shout out our European correspondent, Sam, who is currently designing some new merch specifically for this year's Worlds to help towards the fund for our off season content. So hopefully we'll have more information for next week's episode if we can get some of that locked in. And if so, then we can plug the new merch that we'll have up on the website, which will be very fun and maybe give us ideas also, if you want to, if you hear this, because hopefully this is out tomorrow. That's the goal. So it's out before a play ends. Let us know if you have any recommendations. One that I really like and really want us to do is a bucket hat that says, I went to Worlds and all I got was this bucket hat in like parentheses. Shout out the LCS Bucket. Okay, so with that said, gentlemen, it's time to talk Worlds season. We have play ins starting this week and one team will be joining the big dogs in the Swiss stage. But we got four scrappy dogs battling out it out down here. I'll give a quick preview of the format of plans and then we'll get our kind of preview of each team. Each of us on the cast here is going to have one team that we are kind of like piloting the narrative for and then we'll all throw in our opinions here and there. But first off, info dump, it's gonna be four teams. It's going to be a double round or sorry, not a double round robin, it's a double double elimination. [00:36:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:36:23] Speaker A: Bracket. So you have two lives. If you win twice in a row, you're in or rather three times in a row, but you have two lives. Essentially. All matches are going to be best of fives. No best of threes. No best of ones. Everything's the best of five with with Fearless. That's awesome. And only one team's going to advance the game. Start Thursday, October 15th at 11:00am so mark your Cal calendars and sorry, I know that people are talking about this online. This happens every year like, oh, which time zone should we be doing this in? And all this stuff. But it just means that for folks, Pacific time it's gonna be 11:00am Eastern time, 2:00pm, kind of middle of the work day. So pull it up on the second monitor or jump on your phone, you're at work. You can say that kangas told you to. And then that'll be two best of fives Thursday and Friday with one best of five Saturday and Sunday. Sunday being the qualification match for Worlds. Boom. Info dump. So, you know, kind of when things are happening and what's going on now let's throw it over to Yanni to preview the first representative in the play ins that being from the LCS. It's Cloud 9 from North America weighing [00:37:33] Speaker B: in on a seven man roster that can, that can really only bring six men. It is Cloud 9. Cloud 9. You know, what a very refreshing year for Cloud 9 after the start of the year was rather poor, right? And you know, in spring everything was in the doldrums, right. Summer comes around, things are still not going great. They make the roster changes. They look so much better. They did not look great against lion in at LCS finals. But that's okay. This team still pretty good. Thanatos, Loki, Vulcan, generally playing good. League of Legends. I have questions around blabber and tactical Tactical for obvious reasons. It's, you know, he's done quite well since since coming into the roster. But you know, things get ratcheted up a little bit. You likely going to face KC and you're gonna have to go up against Kalist and Busia. That's tough. And then of course Blabber because Blabber is always prone to doing something. But this guy can also win you these games. He is the coin flip player of this team. And if it lands on Heads more often than not. Maybe, just maybe Cloud 9 is getting into the main stage. [00:38:46] Speaker A: I think Blabber had a fantastic last two series of playoffs. Actually even the the loss versus lion he had some really pop off oh yeah performance moments. So I, I actually have a good amount of hope for Blabber going into this Worlds. But you're right that sometimes he does flip tails, especially in like the big pressure moments. Tactical as well. Saving Flash for play ins from the playoffs. [00:39:12] Speaker B: Hey, you can use it. [00:39:13] Speaker A: Now they had. Yeah, now we can use it. Now I can use it. [00:39:16] Speaker D: He gets multiple charges. Game one, right? [00:39:18] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. I think so. If he's playing Aaron Mayhem. [00:39:22] Speaker C: Yeah, he's flashy with it. [00:39:26] Speaker A: Unfortunately I think it's HR rules and you lose your vacation days if you don't use them. [00:39:31] Speaker B: Damn hr. [00:39:33] Speaker A: Yeah, I think it's. It's more like that. But the curse is broken for this team. They're back at Worlds. It had been a while. That's what you were alluding to Yanni and like they couldn't get over the hump. They had a great regular season in lock in and then they throw it in the finals. Decent spring season still bomb. Yeah, I say decent like they, they ran through the the upper bracket as well and then lose to lion and then lose to team Liquid in the in the lower bracket playoffs. This C9 roster like looked so good when it didn't matter. They were kind of like our version of kc which is ironic because that is their first opponent in the play ins stage. Yeah, I, I still have faith in this team but it seems like I'm kind of alone in that Little teaser for some of our predictions going forward. So Bickle Badger, let's start with Bickle. Do you what are your thoughts on C9 coming into this plans of everyone here? [00:40:25] Speaker C: I am likely the person with the least amount of faith in Cloud nine. Oh I. Yeah, I think they showed some severe issues in that best of five loss to lion where they should have won every game in that series and found a way to lose three of them. Like it's very concerning. Blabber has his highs and has his lows. He looked, he's been playing really well. My problem is I think he's up against Some very good competition here where he will need to be at his absolute best throughout basically all of play ins and I don't know if he can consistently do that. And also I have worries about Tactical Vulcan against some of these bop duos. Specifically Calliston Busio. [00:41:24] Speaker A: Specifically Callisto Busio. Interesting. You don't think that the spring split MVP Vulcan can hang if you're going [00:41:32] Speaker C: off a spring split. Tactical was in Tier two, so. [00:41:37] Speaker A: Okay, well, yeah, yeah, I know, but [00:41:41] Speaker C: then you have to consider the fact he's going against the summer split MVP Callisto. [00:41:46] Speaker A: Ah, yeah, but close. Got it through in playoffs and so [00:41:52] Speaker C: did most of Cloud nine. [00:41:55] Speaker A: Come on, man. I'm just trying to cope over here. [00:41:57] Speaker C: I'm aware and I don't do well with coping, so I'm just expecting the worst from this Cloud 9 roster. Like, I. I think somebody wished on a monkey's paw for them to make worlds and they'll make it, but not in the way you want them to make it. [00:42:13] Speaker A: Oh, like right there. [00:42:16] Speaker C: I. I am not going so far as to say they have the worst possible outcome, but I'm going pretty damn close. [00:42:26] Speaker B: Ooh. [00:42:27] Speaker A: Okay. So temper expectations is Bickles message. Badger, what about you? [00:42:33] Speaker D: I. So I'm hesitant because of a team that we'll be talking about later on that has the potential to run laps around them in the play in stage that's outside of Casey. Am I. Am I going to have a little bit of hope going into it thinking hopefully, you know, defend home soil and that they're able to put themselves into a situation where they're going to be able to take, you know, games and make it close against teams like Casey. I mean, maybe we'll see. But I'm not overly convinced at this point that this team is ready to go on the international stage and play full best of fives. I feel like there's concerns with potential champion pool stuff going on with like, I mean the top of tacticals pool looks good. Once you get down towards the middle and the bottom of it, you throw a couple of bands that way. It's. It's not looking that great potentially. I mean, can Thanatos getting a topside advantage with Loki having the coin flip performance potential in mid enough to carry them across the board. Because that's the thing that I'm concerned about at this point, that they just feel like there's way too many dice rolls, coin flips, you know, rock paper scissors matches that goes on that for a team that can struggle with a little bit of Aggression, they need to be controlled. They need to set stuff up. When you have teams that can come in and play fast and somewhat loose, how are they going to respond to it? [00:44:20] Speaker A: I think quite well. I actually have so much more faith in this coaching staff now in Dom and Yamato than I did earlier. I was actually quite down on the whole Dom taking over from an arrow until getting more of an arrow side of the story and like why he wanted to step down as a coach and actually him putting a lot of faith in Dom saying that he was, he thought that Dom was ready to step up. So that partly why an arrow was willing to step down. And also reminder, Casey's draft coach and coach is just reapered. So if we're talking about who's going to be winning, drafted the best of five, I actually have way more faith in C9 but. But that's the C9 side. Let's talk the KC side because I think that's the big rivalry everyone's going to be highlighting is like which of these teams is going to be the one to make it out. A lot of folks, assuming it's one of these two. KC is coming in a little bit of a surprise. Bickle getting upset by MCOI in the LEC playoffs. So what do we feel about Casey right now? [00:45:19] Speaker C: KC this entire year has just been the second best team in the LEC. They've lost two G2 in the finals of winter and in the finals of spring before like you mentioned, getting upset by MCOID who knocked them into third place of summer and sending the play ins which is very surprising considering they had an undefeated summer split before heading into playoffs. [00:45:45] Speaker A: Didn't drop a series. They had what, four game losses and I don't remember how many game wins. [00:45:49] Speaker C: I think they only had two game losses. They dropped one to G2 and one to shifters. [00:45:55] Speaker A: Oh my goodness. I, I, maybe I had the force. [00:45:58] Speaker C: Yeah, I think they went like 18 and 2 if I'm thinking right. [00:46:03] Speaker A: Oh okay. Well yeah, that's crazy either way. Only dropping a couple of games along the way. No series losses. Yeah, that was an upset to, to even be. [00:46:13] Speaker C: Oh yeah. [00:46:14] Speaker A: Like I think expectation was definitely. [00:46:16] Speaker B: Oh yeah. [00:46:16] Speaker A: This team just go into Swiss stage. Right. [00:46:19] Speaker C: Definitely. That's why so many people have so much faith in them. Though there is the concern of are they choker artists because Yep. We've seen this core of Kana, Yike and Kalist fail to show up and even qualify for worlds last year after a really solid year, have the addition of Kyahu and Busio or Biehu or however you want to call it really leveled them up. It seems like that way in regular season, but they've yet to show their peak levels in the postseason, which is what some people have concerns about. But overall this is just a solid roster. Top to Bot Callist is the summer split mvp. Every single member here was on the first team all pros team. I think Yike is the best jungler in play ins Kalist Busio is the best bot lane in planes and KANA and Yahoo have an argument for the best solo laners. Kana Thanatos will be really fun. I think that's like something Thanatos clears [00:47:31] Speaker A: KANA for the record. But I do agree with Yahoo. I think the Yahoo is the best mid laner I don't like. I think Loki is really good but man Yahoo it was like the only mid laner to step up to caps and I don't see Loki stepping up to caps. [00:47:45] Speaker C: So Yahoo's issues is he has high highs and low lows. So it's just a matter of who shows up on that day. Though that can kind of be said about the entirety of Casey on their day they're the best team in plans hands down off their day they won't make it out. I just have more faith that they've beat themselves up about what happens has happened enough that they'll write the ship heading into play ins [00:48:16] Speaker D: I if they [00:48:17] Speaker A: don't make it out of play ins that would be so disastrous for the team, the org, the roster, the region. [00:48:25] Speaker C: If they don't make it out I'm wondering what their roster changes are because something needs to change. [00:48:33] Speaker A: This would be the summer split MVP and a sweep of all pro first team like this was the LEC first team All Pro which is kc. Also if they don't make it out of play ins that'd be crazy. [00:48:44] Speaker C: And if it is to Cloud nine where Cloud nine gets out over kc North American fans are never going to let Europe lift this down. [00:48:54] Speaker A: Oh never. [00:48:55] Speaker C: Like the LCS is already on a really solid win streak if you ignore that one best of three that happened at Demacia cup with Fly Quest just choking the choke of all chokes but so we'll have to see what Casey can pull out to kind of turn this around. I just feel they are the definitive favorites in here right now I would [00:49:20] Speaker A: have to concurrent but that said I still have faith in C9 as a any believer so but I yeah on paper everything's pointing to Casey being the the number One team in this playoffs or the little play ins bracket here and now let's go from best to worst I guess because up on the list Here we have LCP's representative in MVK formerly the Vikings. Now they are just MVKE Esports. No Vikings in the title anymore. Technically they're just a tricode that makes stands for nothing. They're just MVK roster is Kratos. That's not the correct Jungler name. [00:50:00] Speaker D: What? [00:50:01] Speaker A: What did I put there? Why did I write that? MVK's jungler? It's not Jim, it's Gurney. There we go. Guri yeah some something happened in that typing. [00:50:10] Speaker D: Probably autocorrect [00:50:14] Speaker A: Chica Harky and Sweelu. I think it's Swee Lou technically even though I my Anglican accent would want to go. See you Lou. But sweet loop support. This is a very young roster. It's actually going to be the youngest roster in the tournament. They have two call ups from the academy squad which is Harky and Swee Lou. Their mid laner from split two was also a call up from a tier two organization. But then they change rosters a lot every single split. This year has been a different iteration of some players. Even SOFM was jungling at the start of the year. He is their coach for mvk. Shout out sofm. If you remember he had been coaching the Vikings even at Worlds 2024 but last time we saw him as a player at Worlds was of course the suning roster in 2020. I believe it was a 2020. Yeah I think there's a 2020 sooning where they made it to the finals. So shout out sofm. He's very passionate about the game still and LCP is one of the regions that has in game coach comms where a coach can like a couple of times I think it's like three, two or three times during a game they get like a short window where they can actually join comms and communicate with their team. I don't remember exactly the mechanics of it but SOFM is like by far the coach that uses that the most in the lcp. There's all information I've gotten from one of the English casters, Logan over there. So shout out Logan. And then also just other folks in Worlds Prep. I've heard a lot of these stories but SOFM is just like a super involved coach in this team to the point where the first like 30 seconds of the game he is walking his bot lane through how they need to Mechanically play the 1v1 and position like against Lane opponents and stuff. You can't do that at Worlds. So that, that was like the training wheels, the safety net for the team of a very young roster that had a lot of like difficulty getting to this core five and making changes throughout the year. And the thing that got them to third place was this coach that was so active in the games themselves. Now we get to see what they look like without that coach talking to them during game. And everybody that I have talked to that has any information on this team says they're going to be the worst team at Worlds. Like the expectation for this team is so low. I know LCP historically is like had representatives can do damage. I know most of that's like from VCS in the past, but still like this team has so little faith behind it from the community and from the pundits that I've, I've spoken with that I would also default rank them last. I haven't seen enough tape on like their entire year or like their season to, to really give like a strong opinion. I just watched their playoffs run and playoffs run was like yeah, there's, there's clear weaknesses to this team. They're very impatient around objectives. They have some of the sloppy subjective setups. Like if they get to an objective early, they'll just like yeah, I don't know. They'll like. Half of them will turn for the fight, the other half will stay on the objective. One person's like pushing a wave while it's happening. It's like what are we doing guys? So I'm expecting this team to have very, very sloppy games in terms of macro micro. They're fine. Like they have good carries. I think that Harky is like mechanically a good ad carry. Chica's probably going to be able to hang with the likes of, of Toots and Loki. Yahoo on a good day is probably going to smoke everybody in this, in this plans though. So keep your expectations low for mvk. They're a very young roster but they don't have their coach talking to them in game now. So we'll, we'll see what they're able to bring. Does anybody else have thoughts on mvk? I wanted to summarize it just because I've done a lot of prep already. [00:54:04] Speaker C: I want to give them a little props. You say MVK stands for nothing. I was able to find this. It does have a meaning. [00:54:10] Speaker A: Oh it does. [00:54:10] Speaker C: It stands for mind out of the box vision, seek our peak and kinetics. The arrow points forward. [00:54:18] Speaker A: Yeah, that's really stupid. It is okay, well, we're gonna move on cb. [00:54:22] Speaker C: Lol. [00:54:24] Speaker A: Badger, introduce us to Furia. [00:54:27] Speaker D: Vamos, Brazil. Furia is the second seed coming out of the CB Lull behind los, also part of the Made in Brazil organization. If you follow Valor in her counter strike, that's a very common name. And Los was actually the guest team. They won their spot back in the CB wall, and now they have to travel to America and play at the Worlds at for world's play ins. So one of the things you need to know about Brazil as a region coming into this is they love to scrap. They love to fist fight. They are. They are LPL light, essentially where the map movements are important. That's great. Hey, we just took a dragon. There's like 3 minutes and 30 seconds up until the next objective. We're gonna go get vision. You want to just, like, punch somebody in the face real fast while we're there. Like, they will go actively seeking out engagements. When it comes to just random times of the game where it makes zero sense to fight, they'll just be like, yeah, we can do it. Let's go. Let's find somebody. Let's scrap. Inferior in the finals against LOS was kind of on the back foot for most of it. It felt like. One of the things that I think about this team is that if the early game does not go well, they don't really have themselves. They don't really put themselves into position where they're able to come back and gain an advantage, back again and roll forward with it. If. If they lose the early game, they're kind of, I would say, somewhat screwed for the rest of the game. They have to. They have to get the advantage early. They have to rely on Tattoo and Tootsie. Tootsie, Tootsie. Do you know the pronunciation for it? [00:56:23] Speaker A: Tuts? Just tuts. [00:56:24] Speaker D: It's tuts. Okay. [00:56:25] Speaker A: Tuts. [00:56:26] Speaker D: Tuts. [00:56:27] Speaker A: Some people say toots, but I've been told it is just, hey, toots. I really wish I could say toots. [00:56:37] Speaker D: Don't. Don't piss off the Brazilians. I'll just tell you that right now going into this. But they. These rely so much on the map plays coming out of Tattoo and Jojo. Not. Not that. Not that Jojo. The other Jojo. So it just feels like if they're not in a situation where those two are creating action on the map, they are going to struggle. Now counterpoint the way that they play and the aggression that they come out with. If they're able to get themselves into situations where they're able to take fights, they're able to pick people off, they're able to find the advantages. I think they have substantial upset potential coming in. We'll talk about it later on. Somebody has, somebody on this cast has Furia playing for the final play in spot like the final series. And I wouldn't be surprised by it. I have them winning the fastest game at Worlds because I think they just stomp mvk just one game that hard. [00:57:49] Speaker A: Yeah, definitely the expectation. And that's their first round opponent. [00:57:54] Speaker D: That's their first. That's the first opponent for them coming into Worlds is mvk. I think that's a great landing spot for them to get in. I think the brackets are. It's very favorable for them in that situation just because they can have somewhat of a. I don't want to call them an easier opponent because every team had to qualify for Worlds anyways. But it just puts themselves, it puts them into a pretty good circumstance where they're able to get their, get their bearings underneath them. I mean, this is a roster we've seen for. This is the same roster we saw last year for Furious. So they've had, you know, time to mesh together, get on the international stage, get going. And I, I think they, I think they have severe upset potential against Casey or C9, depending on who they would play later on in the bracket stage of this. [00:58:38] Speaker B: So what you're saying is vamos Brazil. [00:58:41] Speaker D: Vamos Brazil. [00:58:42] Speaker A: Brazil. This roster was expected to win. Cb, lol. Lost. Beating them twice was very surprising. The first time the excuse from Fury was, oh, we didn't have Tatum or if you remember, he did that whole thing where he like walked up on stage and should not have gotten a suspension for that. Got a suspension and wasn't able to play the next round. And that was the round that they lost to Lopes. So most people are like, ah, that doesn't count. Lowe's beating them like it was just wait till we get to the actual finals and then Fury will have the real roster. They lost again five game banger. And I gotta say, yeah, Toots kind of, kind of threw it. Gigo. When I think of Gigo as a player like, like their solo laners just don't have a lot of clutch. They have a lot of aggression in the early game. I think that Furious most comfortable part of the game is the first 15 minutes. But once we get past that point, they, it's kind of like jazz as they go. And they did straight up walk their support ad carry and mid laner onto A visible Orianna ball and get shock waved at the Baron to lose Game 5. And that was the most embarrassing way to fucking lose a game. I've seen it a while. I'm like, it was right there. Like, it wasn't like hidden in a bush or anything. He had it in one spot, moved it. All three of them walk on top of it after he moves it. And I was like, yeah, what are you doing? There's an Orianna ball right there. Yeah, actually, sorry. I threw the mid laner under the bus. I think it was Gigo, if memory serves. It might have been the top laner with it. [01:00:24] Speaker D: Yeah, it might have been. I think it was actually Gigo. Not. [01:00:27] Speaker A: But again, like, this team, they just. When it comes time to, like, approach bear and approach elder dragon fights, things like that, it does kind of feel like they're just freestyling it, and it's not something that they've drilled and gotten down. You watch Team liquid, you watch G2. You watch, like, the better teams that we cover a lot on this podcast. And the way they approach objectives is, like, pretty clinical most of the time. Some it gets funky, but most of the time it's like you can see what they're going for. I don't see that with Furia, but that's also the Brazil special is that they are just kind of crazy in. In how they played. It does feel very LPL light. [01:01:03] Speaker C: So all gas, no breaks. Punch you in the mouth. [01:01:07] Speaker A: Yeah, dude. Like, I literally saw Tatu in game one of that grand finals. Gank. Three. Three times in the first five and a half minutes. He goes, clear top camps Gank. Clear by camps Gank. Go back. Clear top Kings Gank. And it's like right now, it's crazy, but very fun team to watch and yes, I am excited for them as well. Any other thoughts on Furia from the rest of the cast, or are we ready to move on? Predictions going once, going twice. All right, sold. Predictions time. This is where to put the money. Where our mouths are. We. We got a lot. And a lot of this is going to be kind of like just listing the team that we think continues on in the tournament because it is a double Elim bracket, so we only know the first two matchups. Then we'll just have to give the reason why we think the team that had lost in a previous round will. Will win. From there, it can get a little confusing to follow along audibly, but we'll basically just be saying who we think [01:02:03] Speaker D: is continuing, and we'll Try our best to explain it as we go. [01:02:07] Speaker A: Spoilers. All of us have MVK bombing out immediately. So round one, C9 versus KC. The EU versus N. A grudge match. Let's see if NA can keep the win streak going. If you close your eyes and ignore the Demacia cup, I have C932, baby. Yanni agrees. C932. Badger and Bickle, the naysayers with Casey's. Badgers got a 3 1. Pickles got a 3 2. I feel like we already got kind of Bickles explanation of Casey from his breakdown. So, Badger, I'm gonna throw it to you. Why do you have Casey 3:1? That's like the most definitive prediction that we have here. [01:02:50] Speaker D: I. I just think that Casey, with all of the layoff time, I. I can't imagine that they haven't just been spending the last three and a half weeks since the playoff run ended for them in such a disappointing manner that they haven't just been going back, watching the tape, seeing what's been going on, screaming a hell of a ton against, you know, G2S or against MCO. Just. I'm like, wait, who's the other team? Yeah, who's the other team? Fanatic. [01:03:26] Speaker A: Where? [01:03:27] Speaker D: No, I just feel like they've been boot camping essentially for the last three and a half weeks. I think that the EU teams have probably just been like, hey, let's scrim each other. Let's get this going. Let's see what we can do in this situation just so that we're able to ensure that we're in our best form coming in. And I think they're going to come out and they're going to deliver their best first punch that they can imagine to the hometown team. And I. I think they just do it in convincing fashion. I. I'm not a big C9 believer at this point. Like, congratulations, you've made it back to Worlds. Now you need to show me something. [01:04:05] Speaker B: Sure. [01:04:05] Speaker A: I think I actually have a different opinion on the whole boot camp thing. I feel like it's kind of crazy to leave eu, go to Korea boot camp and then fly to America. [01:04:17] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [01:04:18] Speaker A: It's like so many different time zones you're getting used to and you're just making your potential jet lag worse. I feel like it would have made more sense either stay in EU or just come to America early and then scrim our teams. Because I guarantee you, like, lion and TL would love to scrim against a team like Casey ahead of. Ahead of Worlds. So it Was a little odd to me to see that, but I guess you can spin in a positive way. I look at it more in the. I'm worried that the team's just gonna be tired. And part of that is why I have C9 taking it. But also just the narrative. We got to keep the win streak going, guys. [01:04:56] Speaker B: Come on. [01:04:57] Speaker A: What the hell, right? Sanctioned events. We put the asterisks on it because demasi cup is not a riot sanctioned event. So as long as we just say those words, we have the win streak still against EU next. Ariana, do you want to chime in here? I feel like this is the most exciting matchup for sure. [01:05:13] Speaker B: Oh, no doubt about it. Yeah, it's gonna be great. A great way to kick off plans. As you mentioned earlier, I also have Cloud 9 winning 3. 2. Yeah, it's ll jet lag bozos versus the home field advantage team. Right? Not only that, but the last time. The last time that Cloud 9 was on stage would be 12 days prior to game one. The last time that KC played on stage was September 19th. So that's one, two, three. Three and a half weeks since their last actual stage games compared to Cloud nine's less than two weeks. That's. [01:05:56] Speaker A: I didn't even think about that. That's actually. I did say three and a half [01:06:00] Speaker D: weeks at my point. [01:06:01] Speaker A: Like. Yeah, I was. [01:06:02] Speaker D: They've been spending three and a half weeks preparing for this. [01:06:05] Speaker A: Yeah, I think stage is different. [01:06:07] Speaker B: Yeah. You've been spent three and a half weeks preparing and going to EU and going to Korea and going to. To NA when Cloud 9 has just been chilling and chilling back at home. Yeah. [01:06:20] Speaker A: Yeah, fair enough. [01:06:22] Speaker B: What were you saying? [01:06:22] Speaker A: Okay, well, for all those reasons, specifically the narrative, C9, they could take it, but this is the one everyone's gonna be watching. Set your alarms. 11:00am Pacific Time through 2. 2:00pm 2:00pm There we go. Nope, that's not math. 2:00pm Eastern Time. This is the one everyone's gonna be talking about. [01:06:39] Speaker B: 1400 military time. [01:06:42] Speaker A: 14. There we go. Furia MVK is the next one on Thursday. This one will be starting just whenever C9KC ends. And we have Fury across the board. Two 3. [01:06:53] Speaker D: 0s. [01:06:53] Speaker A: 2. 3 ones. I do think that furious, like, sloppy enough that they can throw a game. That's essentially what I have here. That's why they're gonna lose one of them. [01:07:03] Speaker D: But yeah, we. [01:07:04] Speaker A: We all think the Furia is the better team. Which means that moving along, we have either C9 or Casey versus Furia in the next round. Those that had. [01:07:16] Speaker B: Oh, sorry. [01:07:17] Speaker A: No. This is the the losers next up. It's gonna be either the loser of KC or C9 versus MVK. And we all have Casey or C9 winning that. So just continue on. It's all three O's. The best that MVK has been given is a game win in a best of five series. So now it goes to the next winners here which would either be C9 or KC or Furia. Unfortunately, none of us have Furia making it through. We do think that it's just either n A or EU that's going to continue. A couple of three ones. I have a 3. 0 for C9 and then we get the loser of this match versus the winner of the previous match in the the first round lower bracket. Again, it gets a little confusing, but basically we all have so much faith in NA and EU that we think it's going to be an NAEU qualification match at the very end. Except for Bickle. Vamos. Brazil has beaten C9 32 in the lower finals to challenge and then lose to KC3O. Defend your take, sir. [01:08:28] Speaker C: Listen, I said I'm not high on Cloud nine and I'm really not expecting much from them. The reason I couldn't have them drop out right away is because MVK is just that bad comparatively. But I think Furia might just punch them in the mouth a couple too many times. I think Blabber gets a bit too happy. Go Lucky when he starts getting in these big brawls. Like they get his blood flow and they get the adrenaline pumping and we see some of the blabber that they've been trying to hold back on. We saw what happened when Cloud 9 and Fury have faced off at America's Cup. Yes, this was a while ago. Yes, this is completely different portions, but Furious beat them pretty badly. Yes, things have changed. Yes, It's a different Cloud9 roster. Yes, South American environment and all that Furious. Nothing to shake a fist at. Like they're gonna fight to the death over and over. [01:09:37] Speaker A: Okay, but hear me out. Hear me out. The the alternative because this is how my bracket's shaken out. Eagle eyed listeners will spot that I actually have Casey going to the finals. Rare for me. Typically I predict in every international event for all the EU teams to just bomb out as quickly as possible. And I'm bucking that trend for the specific reason that this is C9's year. C9 were cursed. They were Etsy witches coming for their throats. They could not make it to an international event. But what happened, guys? For the first time since 2023 they made it to worlds. They broke the curse. And what is their play ins opponents? The team that beat them in America's cup and the most hyped team from Europe that bombed out in their playoffs as well. All team, first team, all pro, plus the MVP. This is the fairy tale narrative. This is C9's chance to redeem themselves to the C9 fans for all of the years of disappointment pent up into one glorious release. I don't like the visual that I'm painting now that I've framed it and phrased it this way. Yeah, but we're just gonna roll with it. They're just gonna splurge all over this playoffs. [01:10:58] Speaker C: So kangas by this, by this is Cloud Nines year, you mean this is Cloud nine split because they choked in winter and they choked in spring to miss both international events in the qualifying games. [01:11:13] Speaker A: And it was so disappointing that, that all that energy has been built up and is now being directed at this play ins. It's gonna be. [01:11:22] Speaker C: And we're so excited because the team everybody expected to finish third place. Finish third place. [01:11:29] Speaker A: Yes. That which is C9's comfort zone, remember, eh? [01:11:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I agree. Third place is Cloud 9's comfort zone. That's why I have them finishing in third place in play ins. [01:11:49] Speaker A: I have them getting revenge for America's Cop. I have them taking out Europe not once but twice in the bracket. And I am alone in that, nobody else. [01:11:59] Speaker C: I would love to be proven wrong. I just am not getting my hopes up. [01:12:06] Speaker A: Okay, fair enough. Well, that's our expectations for play ins. And yeah, now we just. All that's left is for the teams to play in the play ins. One other thing that we do every year, it's tradition at this point for the play ins episode is a bit of a video or visual gag in an audio medium. And that is something Yanni has not actually participated in yet. So what better time than right now to introduce him? You know what? You love it. It's time everybody for the league rundown logo tier list for Worlds. In years past, we would only do it for play ins. Last year, play ins was literally two teams. So we just did it for all of Worlds and we're just going to continue that because it's just fun, you know, it's fun to put more logos on a tier list thing. [01:13:00] Speaker B: So [01:13:03] Speaker A: this always goes well. There's never any issues that happen when we do these visual gags on the audio medium. But for a reminder for everybody, there are logos on A screen that I'm looking at that I'm going to put on a tier list. And between the four of us, we're going to do a little snake draft. If you're not aware of what that is, it means that we start on one end and then. So Bickle is top of the discord call. He'll go first, then me, then Badger, then Yani, then Yanni gets to go again and then Badger the me, then Bickle and then Bickle again. Me, badger, Yanni, and we just keep doing that until all the teams are placed on the tier list. When it's your turn, you get to choose a logo for a team and then place it in S, A, B, C or D tier. Actually F tier. I feel like we need an F tier, right? [01:13:47] Speaker C: We need an F tier. [01:13:49] Speaker D: We need an F. Sure. How do I. Dear listener, if you are confused at this point, don't worry. So are we. [01:13:56] Speaker A: It happens every year. Every year they're like, how did. Why are we doing this? And I'm like, just trust. And then it, you know, it happens. But this year is gonna be great. Okay, so I'm gonna share screen to everybody in the call and we are going to create our tier list for the league rundown logos or the rather the world's logos. We do not own these logos. Yanni, as it is your first time, do you have any questions before we get in? [01:14:25] Speaker B: Nope. This makes sense. [01:14:27] Speaker A: Beautiful. [01:14:29] Speaker C: Point of order. I don't think that's Los's logo. [01:14:33] Speaker B: It better not be. [01:14:35] Speaker D: That's not Los's logo. [01:14:36] Speaker A: That's not Los's. Oh, I just grabbed this on tier list maker. [01:14:40] Speaker B: It better not be. [01:14:42] Speaker D: Well, they're actually close written out. [01:14:46] Speaker A: Okay, let's look up league pedia Los and see if I can find it on. [01:14:51] Speaker D: It's already going really well. [01:14:53] Speaker A: This is already going fantastic. [01:14:56] Speaker B: Guys, guys, we could just. [01:14:58] Speaker A: It kind of is, guys, because I [01:15:01] Speaker B: think we're nowhere we're putting this one. I think we could just. I think we could just let it go. [01:15:07] Speaker D: Can. [01:15:07] Speaker A: Let's just. [01:15:08] Speaker D: Do you just want to do it right off the rip? [01:15:12] Speaker A: It's up to Bickle. Oh. Oh, yeah. Actually, yeah. Let's have Yanni go version. Also, since I started sharing screen, I am now above Bickle, so I will go last. [01:15:19] Speaker B: I'm just first. [01:15:21] Speaker A: We'll do it. [01:15:21] Speaker B: I'm just gonna make this easy so we don't have to worry about it losing. Whether this is their logo or their logo on Leakpedia is their logo. This shit's still Going in F tier. [01:15:30] Speaker A: Whoa. Okay. [01:15:32] Speaker B: It's terrible. It's bad. [01:15:36] Speaker A: Describe it visually. For those that might not just. Okay, listening along. [01:15:39] Speaker B: So for the one that we have here, imagine an orange square with a slash through it. Now, for the real one that's on Leakpedia, imagine los is spelled out with the L slashing through the O and starting the top of the S. But there's no. There's nothing else. It's just a normal font. It's just yellow or. Not yellow. White text. Like, there's nothing. There's no pizzazz. There's not. It's three letters in the most boring way possible. [01:16:09] Speaker A: There's no sauce. [01:16:11] Speaker B: No, they. They lose the sauce. [01:16:16] Speaker A: Okay. F tier. I think I would. Maybe. [01:16:19] Speaker D: I would. [01:16:19] Speaker A: No, put it C. But I think F is. Is appropriate. That's fine. That's fine. Okay. And at the end of this, we'll all get to go down and move one logo that we disagree with up or down a tier. So a reminder that this will be adjusted slightly. We'll hive. Mind it. Badger, you're up next. [01:16:36] Speaker D: You know, I gotta do it because I took. So in 2013, I took a graphic design class in my first in college. Oh. And I wore. And I wore this team's logo to the one time. And my professor looked at me and said, that's the perfect logo. And I said, no, it's not. It's kind of just a bunch of nines thrown together. And they said, exactly why? It's. It's. It's perfect. And I argued with that professor all semester long. So out of spite to that professor that I cannot remember his name because I've blanked it from my memory banks. I have to put C9 and 8 here. [01:17:21] Speaker A: Okay. He said C9 is a perfect logo. As the graphic design instructor. [01:17:26] Speaker D: Yeah, but he was also. [01:17:28] Speaker B: Graphic design is his passion. [01:17:30] Speaker D: Graphic design is his passion. [01:17:32] Speaker A: No, he's a professor. That's not his passion, brother. It's also his profession. [01:17:36] Speaker D: He was also kind of a weird individual. But we. That's a story for another time. [01:17:40] Speaker A: Okay, well, let's not get into that on the. But C9 starts in a tier. I think that's a great place for C9. It's a classic logo. Bickle, you're up next on the draft. [01:17:52] Speaker C: Listen, I could go positive or negative here. I'm a pessimistic person. We're going to keep it low tier. This team's name means nothing. Their logo means nothing. [01:18:01] Speaker D: MV tier. [01:18:03] Speaker C: Like. [01:18:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:18:04] Speaker D: Wait, who? [01:18:05] Speaker C: Mvk. They're going after yeah, like, they should be on a tier all their own. It's that bad. They deserve to be below los. [01:18:13] Speaker B: I think it's. I think it's better than los. [01:18:15] Speaker A: No, their logo looks like Star Trek, like a Japanese racing anime. Like the side of the car, you know, like. [01:18:25] Speaker D: Like. [01:18:26] Speaker A: Like an old Speed Racer episode. [01:18:28] Speaker B: It looks like the Star Trek logo just tilted on the kind of like [01:18:31] Speaker A: a Star Trek logo, actually. Yeah, it basically. Star Trek logo just turns 90 degrees to the right. [01:18:36] Speaker C: Logos are supposed to mean something like LOS with their leaguepedia. You can look at it and say, okay, that is for los. I have no idea what I'm looking at. [01:18:50] Speaker B: You know what? [01:18:50] Speaker A: Well, it's. It was. What did it stand for? Mostly unoriginal, very dumb [01:18:57] Speaker C: mind vision and kinetics. [01:19:00] Speaker A: Okay. Oh, I. I was close. [01:19:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:19:03] Speaker A: I think FTR is completely appropriate for that. All right. It's up to me now. I'm gonna go, oh, I get two in a row. [01:19:09] Speaker C: You get two in a row. [01:19:10] Speaker A: Let's just pick one. I'm gonna do. I'm gonna focus on the animals. I like animals. I think Team Liquid, it doesn't make sense that their logo is a horse, but the fact that they have committed to having the horse be not only the logo, but a movie mascot for the team immediately puts them in a tier for me. And in fact, I kind of like it more than C9. C9's logo is exceptional. But the fact that it's. It's. It's a cloud, which is sick. It's a cloud made out of nine. Their team's cloud nine. It's a great logo, but I. I'm going all encompassing of what the logo means. And Team Liquid, the logo means a mascot, and I love mascots. So I think the Team liquid's slightly above C9 for me. And then. Let's go another animal. I'm gonna go Furia. It's like. It's a. It's a panther. I think that's a panther. I believe if I got my jungle cats correctly, and that seems like an appropriate cat for a team called Furia. So we're gonna frick it. We're gonna throw them up in A tier. Also, I like animal logos. I. I feel like they're a bottom of a tier right now. I wish that they were facing Team Liquids way, but actually it's cool that they're facing Lions way in case they ever match up. Probably not gonna happen, but, you know, either way, okay, that's my two. I put two in the A tier. Bickle. It's up to you. [01:20:35] Speaker C: All right, I'm gonna bookend this. I put the worst one on the tier list. I'm gonna put, in my opinion, the best one on the tier list. They're there every year. They're the definitive definition of an s tier logo. G2 belongs in S tier. [01:20:49] Speaker B: Boom. [01:20:50] Speaker D: There it is. [01:20:50] Speaker A: The samurai helmet with a G and a 2 as like the mask on the helmet. It is iconic. Why they're a samurai, still don't know. But it does look really cool. It does look really cool. I'll give you that. All right. Down to Badger. [01:21:10] Speaker D: You know, I put this tv. I'm pretty sure I put this team in B tier last year. So I'm just gonna continue the. The tradition of doing it. Team Secret Whales, you are a B tier logo for me. [01:21:23] Speaker B: Ooh. Right where I have it too. Not bad. [01:21:27] Speaker D: Yep. [01:21:28] Speaker A: It's like the mysterious, mischievous or just intense looking. [01:21:33] Speaker D: If it was just teams. If like, if it was just Team Secret proper, I think it would be so much better. But there. How does the whales incorporate into this? Tell me. [01:21:41] Speaker A: Well, it kind of looks like there's a fin. Like if you. [01:21:44] Speaker D: I need the whale. [01:21:45] Speaker A: Like, do you see a duck or a rabbit? It's like, do you see an eye or do you see like a whale in the water? [01:21:52] Speaker B: I just see an alternate. [01:21:54] Speaker D: I just want you to stop saying odd. [01:21:56] Speaker B: I just, I just see. I just see an alternate. Anyone's legend logo. [01:22:02] Speaker D: Oh, we'll get to them, don't worry. [01:22:04] Speaker A: Oh, I guess kind of if you're doing like, think a Rorschach test of logos. [01:22:09] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:22:10] Speaker A: Okay. Yanni, it's up to you. [01:22:11] Speaker B: Speaking of anyone's legend, Pandissimo. Gotta go in S tier. One of the best logos of all time. [01:22:19] Speaker A: I Love this logo. I 100 agree. It's so cool. [01:22:24] Speaker B: Now you're laughing. Are you laughing because you don't think so? [01:22:27] Speaker D: No, I, I just, I, I knew exactly where you were going with it as soon as you. As soon as you brought up the editing. [01:22:33] Speaker B: Anyone's like, I gotta, I gotta rep the LPL now. [01:22:36] Speaker D: No, it's good. I like it. It's a good one. [01:22:39] Speaker B: It's time for another logo and where we just put one at the top. So we gotta put one near the bottom. I don't even feel good about putting this in C tier. If somebody bumped this one down, I wouldn't feel bad about it. We gotta get D Kia in C tier. This logo stinks, bro. [01:22:56] Speaker A: Yeah, it's like a Chiron I actually [01:22:59] Speaker B: think it might be worse than MVK logo. I'm gonna put it in seats here though, because you guys really seem to hate MVK's logo and D D. Kia's logo is just boring. It's not that it's bad, it's boring. [01:23:16] Speaker A: I hate the more I look at MVK's logo actually, the more I start to kind of become endeared to it. So I'm gonna stop looking at that logo. Yes. Dk. [01:23:23] Speaker B: You're gonna be bumping that up in a second. Huh? [01:23:26] Speaker A: I agree. I. There's a chance. Once I said it looks like a, like a logo on the side of a Japanese anime racing car, I actually got a little excited about it. [01:23:33] Speaker B: Brother is running through the 90s. [01:23:35] Speaker A: It's over, Badger. [01:23:39] Speaker D: This is the weird part because there's like a lot of different directions you can go at this point. I, I am not a fan of corporations having their branding within the logo. It knocks it down a tier for me. So the koi logo, great. On its own. You put the stupid fucking movie star M at the top of it. Knocks it down a peg for me. See. You know what? Go ahead and put it next to Damwon Kia. Whoa. But on the left side of it. I, I just, I, I'm not a huge fan of just the like branded M at the top of it. And the fact that it says Kia below like the Damwon logo just pisses me off as well. [01:24:37] Speaker A: Like it, it actually does say kyo under the Dam 1 logo. Yeah, but Yanni, it sounds like you were surprised by that. Dude, it gets you go higher or lower. [01:24:47] Speaker B: I, I thought he was gonna put it in B tier. I think it's a, I think it's a solid B tier logo. But I would probably put it behind like team Secret whales. So I guess it's a fine spot. [01:24:58] Speaker C: Sure. [01:24:58] Speaker A: It's still sandwich in there right now. Pickle, what would you like to add to the list? [01:25:04] Speaker C: You know what? We've got horses. We got panthers. Let's add a lion. Lion heading up to eight here. [01:25:11] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. [01:25:12] Speaker A: We. It's just an ant. It's a zoo. If you put an animal as your logo, it's just default gonna be like at least a good logo. [01:25:20] Speaker D: It's. It's low hanging fruit at this point to not like have it anywhere near a tier. [01:25:25] Speaker A: Like, yeah, dude. We literally in the top six right now have a panther, a lion, a horse and a panda. And a samurai. That's badass. And a cloud. And a cloud. [01:25:38] Speaker C: They had a whole Bunch of nines. [01:25:40] Speaker B: That's just a fun day at the zoo if you're a samurai. [01:25:44] Speaker A: Exactly. And maybe it's a little cloudy outside. [01:25:47] Speaker B: Maybe partly cloudy with the sun. Sun out. Everything like that beautiful spring day. [01:25:53] Speaker A: I'm going to get ahead of this one because I feel like this one always goes a little lower than I like it to be because not enough respect is given to the details. If you just look at the logo for the first time, you see three letters and two colors and it's looks a little odd. Blg what does it really communicate? Right. But then you're to God and you realize it's a thumbs up yo in the B. Yo. It's a little. It's a little tiny wrist throwing out a big old thumbs up. That's a B tier logo for me. Honestly, take away the lg just have it be the B with the thumbs up. And that's a thumbs up team for me, baby. I don't need the other letters. [01:26:35] Speaker B: But then you're the beat team. [01:26:38] Speaker A: Seriously carrying this logo because otherwise it would be a dumb logo. But I like the thumb, so there we go. That's. I'm throwing that in there. Next up for me, I'm gonna go with a classic. I'm taking. I'm talking the champs. [01:26:56] Speaker D: Oh, no. Don't do it. [01:26:57] Speaker A: One baby. An iconic logo. Some people love the old logo. Some people say this just is the F1 logo. And they're right. It is. It's just the F1 logo. I can't actually argue against that. The problem is the F1 logo is pretty freaking good. And I love the wing aesthetic to the. For this team. [01:27:17] Speaker B: The winged eyeliner. [01:27:19] Speaker A: It just feels like a team that would have wings on somewhere. [01:27:25] Speaker B: Didn't he literally have wings in the music video? [01:27:28] Speaker A: I think he did, yeah. [01:27:30] Speaker C: Yep. For Galio. [01:27:32] Speaker A: Yeah, Exactly. So we're gonna throw T1 up into the A tier and I'm putting it between TL and C9. I think it's. I think it's up there in terms of being iconic. And A is really crowded. There's actually a lot of good logos at this world. I think we're. We're kind of being treated here so that. That's my second choice. Now it's down again. [01:27:56] Speaker C: Typical. All right. I feel like this is where it gets hard because in my opinion, everything left is just meh. [01:28:08] Speaker A: Like everything left almost looks like other than maybe Top Esports and maybe Gen G, it almost looks like a AI could have generated. [01:28:17] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:28:17] Speaker C: Like, let's life Put them, I don't know, C tier. [01:28:27] Speaker A: Yeah, okay, sure. We're in C tier. You want bottom, top, middle, Middle, I guess middle C tier. [01:28:36] Speaker B: There's some pizzazz in this logo. At least we are using three different colors. [01:28:41] Speaker C: Yeah, that's. [01:28:43] Speaker A: They do have the most colors represented of any of the logos. Unless you consider als, like negative of white space, which. It is a panda. So I would consider. [01:28:51] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. [01:28:51] Speaker A: They have red, white, and black. But, you know. [01:28:53] Speaker B: Hey, G2. G2 has three colors. What? Yeah. Doesn't G2 have red in the eyes? [01:29:00] Speaker A: I guess sometimes the. The one. Yeah, they'll have like one. [01:29:03] Speaker B: Yeah. Yep. One red eye. We got three colors on G2. [01:29:07] Speaker A: Okay, fair enough. Okay, it's now down to Badger. [01:29:12] Speaker D: Back to me already again. Oh, there's only five remaining blg. I know. [01:29:17] Speaker B: There's three colors too. [01:29:23] Speaker D: I've never understood this one. It's been around for years. Have interesting memories with it. Yeah, okay. Damn, you stole my monologue. I knew it. Here. IGNF tier is. Is where I'm going with this. Like, since season two Worlds, I've been sitting there staring at this logo like, what the fuck is this? [01:29:47] Speaker A: Like, what? What is it? It's the lowercase I that gets me. Something about a lowercase I. [01:29:54] Speaker B: No, dude, that's a person. That's a person. [01:29:59] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Wait a minute. You're kind of. You're right. And they're like holding. They're. They're facing away from us. So this is their back, and in their left arm they're like holding a package. [01:30:12] Speaker D: Oh, my God. It's Amazon delivery. Drink driver is this guy. [01:30:17] Speaker A: Because they're going to get delivered to [01:30:18] Speaker B: Worlds and immediately sent back with expedited shipping. [01:30:25] Speaker A: That's wild. I've never. I never clocked that. It is a guy sitting down. This is a little guy and he. He kind of. He kind of caked up. [01:30:32] Speaker B: Yeah, he's. [01:30:33] Speaker A: He kind of respectable right there. [01:30:35] Speaker B: Kind of look like me out there. [01:30:37] Speaker C: Hey, look, he's walking into Google Chrome. [01:30:43] Speaker A: Oh, he is. [01:30:45] Speaker B: Surely this is not worse than the MVK logo, though. Come on. [01:30:50] Speaker A: No, I'm moving that up to see, actually. [01:30:53] Speaker B: If you glam. Hold on. If you glance at this IG logo, kind of looks like a foot. And I, I, I. [01:31:01] Speaker D: Is there a tier below F that we can play? [01:31:03] Speaker B: No, no, it's got to be in the F tier for foot. [01:31:05] Speaker A: It's at the F tier. F for foot. All right, Yanni, you're up. You get two in a row. [01:31:09] Speaker B: I get two in A row. Give me cfo. [01:31:12] Speaker A: I. [01:31:12] Speaker B: Listen, it's got the team name in it. I. You know, somebody said something about sponsors. You can see the CTBC at the very top, but I don't care. This logo has so much personality. CFO certified. Flying oyster up in the S tier. [01:31:29] Speaker D: Whoa. All right. Yanni's not invited back next year. [01:31:34] Speaker B: Okay, listen, listen. Here's my rationale. Here's my rationale. A CFO is a chief financial officer, Right? And if you're the chief financial officer, you're typically a boss. This logo that has CFO and big letters shows you that they're a boss. That's a boss ass logo. [01:31:53] Speaker A: I know that this logo was designed well before Generative AI, but it literally, when I look at it now, after all the AI slop I've seen in my last couple of years, I'm like, this kind of looks like an AI to make a logo. [01:32:08] Speaker B: You're kind of Right. But that. That should not take away from this logo because it was designed. [01:32:12] Speaker A: It does. Predated for sure. [01:32:14] Speaker B: Exactly. [01:32:15] Speaker A: But it's. Yeah. [01:32:17] Speaker B: All right, next up for me, it does have. [01:32:19] Speaker A: It does have personality. You're right. Okay. Yep, yep. Next up. [01:32:22] Speaker B: Next up for me, I'm going with Gen G and Gen G. I. I have to put it in C tier [01:32:29] Speaker A: above mcoid because it's a top of ct, right? [01:32:33] Speaker B: Yeah, because it's just Damwon Kia, but with color. [01:32:38] Speaker A: I. [01:32:40] Speaker B: The guests. [01:32:40] Speaker A: Yes, I know. [01:32:41] Speaker B: There's the two GS. Well, that's why they get up to C, but nobody uses 2G anymore, bud. [01:32:47] Speaker A: Have you looked at the negative space? [01:32:49] Speaker B: Yeah, it looks like a very skinny sword. [01:32:51] Speaker A: It's like a sword. The negative space, like a hilt of a sword. That's kind of cool, right? [01:32:57] Speaker B: It's okay. [01:32:58] Speaker A: I think they should play more. [01:32:59] Speaker B: I think. I think they. It looks more alike. It would look more like, akin to, like, Top Esports. Like. Like a mask, almost like. Like armor. But they want to try to be like top esports and G2 so bad, and they're just not. [01:33:15] Speaker A: Well, that's why I. I actually really wish they leaned more into keep the GS, but make the negative space more identifiable as an actual sword. Like, give it a line in the middle. [01:33:26] Speaker B: Just put Chovy's face in the sword. [01:33:28] Speaker C: Yep. [01:33:30] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:33:31] Speaker A: Or that. [01:33:31] Speaker D: It could be. [01:33:32] Speaker A: It can be the second good option. [01:33:33] Speaker B: It can be the second logo here with a person in it. [01:33:36] Speaker A: Just. If this is like two GS making a mask, just put Chovy's face behind. [01:33:41] Speaker C: Yeah. [01:33:47] Speaker A: All Right. Well, Yachty's definitely got some hot takes. I do, I do appreciate what he brings to the table here. Badger, you're up next. [01:33:56] Speaker D: Speaking of top esports. [01:33:58] Speaker A: They're still there. [01:34:00] Speaker D: They're still there. See, we talk about the Gen cheese, we talk about the Dom ones, and we talk about the G2s. I think top esports is. I, I, I think for the principle of it, and I, I have a feeling this one might shift. I think top esports at the top of B tier is where I would go at this point. [01:34:25] Speaker A: So above team secret whale. [01:34:27] Speaker D: Above team secret whales. Yeah. [01:34:31] Speaker A: Fair enough. I like that. [01:34:32] Speaker D: I think it's, I think it's just okay. [01:34:37] Speaker A: It is okay enough to not be offensive. It's cool and unique that it's a helmet. So they already have like a cool aesthetic their top esports. And the helmet is like a spartan looking helmet. So the negative space is a T, which is cool. T for top, you know? Yeah, I think it's fine. I would like more color out of it. Orange, first off, is a unique color, so I'll give them points for that. But I do wish that there was something. [01:35:01] Speaker D: I thought it was red. [01:35:02] Speaker A: Just the orange. Is it red? That looks like orange to me. [01:35:06] Speaker D: Yanni [01:35:10] Speaker B: Sports Top esports is orange. [01:35:12] Speaker A: Yeah, that's orange, brother. [01:35:14] Speaker B: This is definitely. [01:35:15] Speaker D: Well, you know what? [01:35:15] Speaker A: Leak media. [01:35:17] Speaker D: My bad, bro. [01:35:18] Speaker A: We're learning. Badger might be colorblind. [01:35:20] Speaker B: No, no, it's. It's tough. [01:35:24] Speaker D: Might is not exactly incorrect. [01:35:27] Speaker B: It is. It's. Honestly, you know what the worst part is? I think it's closer to like a salmon than like a red. Yeah. [01:35:34] Speaker A: Now that I'm looking at it, like, I look at it and then look at the los logo and I see two orange. But when I look at it and then look at T1, [01:35:43] Speaker B: which is kind [01:35:43] Speaker A: of funny, it's also a small screen we're looking at. But either way, I think that's an appropriate place to put it. Which means, Bickle, you are the last one up. Only KC remains [01:35:56] Speaker C: C tier. [01:35:58] Speaker A: C tier where in C tier? [01:36:00] Speaker C: Between gen G and Mkoy. [01:36:03] Speaker A: Okay. Genji and McOH. Now, before you finalize that, I do have to give one one counter argument because there might be something that sways your mind. You know, KC stands of course, for [01:36:21] Speaker B: KC tier. [01:36:22] Speaker C: Carmine core. [01:36:25] Speaker A: No, it's actually Kaiba core from Yu Gi. [01:36:27] Speaker C: Oh. [01:36:28] Speaker A: And if you look at the logo for Kaiba core, there's the blue eyes in the background. It's in like this little swirl pattern which is kind of like the Swirl pattern behind the cake. [01:36:38] Speaker B: Yo, wait a minute, wait a minute. So. [01:36:42] Speaker A: Just saying. I think it was intentional and I think that Casey are leaning a bit into that. [01:36:49] Speaker B: You know what? [01:36:49] Speaker A: Once I realized that I. I think that this is maybe a top of C tier or bottom of B tier. [01:36:55] Speaker B: You might be onto something. [01:36:57] Speaker A: It's not like blatant enough to be guaranteed, but I just. I'm so yu. Gi. Oh, pilled that. Like I would. I just wanted. [01:37:03] Speaker B: No, this is. [01:37:04] Speaker C: I think you're strict. [01:37:05] Speaker B: There's still a third rate team with a fourth rate roster. [01:37:09] Speaker A: Hey, there we go. [01:37:11] Speaker C: Like the K in their logo isn't even a K. What do you mean? [01:37:16] Speaker A: Yeah, it's like a twig. Yeah. [01:37:19] Speaker C: If you open up their logo, their K isn't a K. They try and make it look like a K with the circle behind it finishing off the K, but it's literally like a Y. [01:37:29] Speaker B: Guys, come on. Come on. [01:37:30] Speaker A: This is, this is a wrong. No, there's a gap. There's like a line. Yeah. If you, if you open up their [01:37:36] Speaker C: logo, you can see they have it like bordered around that. [01:37:42] Speaker B: It's just like a Y. Yeah, yeah, no, I, I understand that but like they're very clearly going for the K here, guys. Oh, yeah, it. [01:37:49] Speaker C: It's meant to be. Okay. [01:37:49] Speaker B: Of course they're going for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:37:51] Speaker A: It's like so obvious that they are pedantic. [01:37:53] Speaker B: No, no, no. [01:37:54] Speaker A: I think you can say it's not a K. No. We allow penanticism on this podcast. [01:37:58] Speaker B: Not necessarily. [01:37:59] Speaker A: I think that's a word. Okay, here's the final. Actually, no, this is not the final. Because now we get to go down top to bottom and move logos up, up or down one position based on our own personal preference. Reminder, you cannot move a logo that you placed on the tier list. You can only move logos that other people placed on the tier list. It can go up or down a tier or just move in its own tier. And I gotta say, Yanni, I appreciate the argument. I. I can't have CFO up in S tier. I. I really want to move MVK up because it. I got excited about the. The thought of it being on a car. I gotta move CFO to the bottom of. [01:38:36] Speaker B: This is unbelievable. This is the biggest. [01:38:38] Speaker A: I disagree with that. [01:38:39] Speaker B: This is the. This is the biggest betrayal ever since you left me on red last week. [01:38:46] Speaker C: Call down. [01:38:46] Speaker A: Yeah, you know we're racking up betrayals over here. Oh yeah, that's my pick. Bickle, what would you like to move on the Tier list. [01:38:54] Speaker C: Honestly, that's what I was going to do, but you beat me to it, though. I'm glad you didn't. Because they deserve to be F tier. In all honesty, I feel they deserve to be F tier on their own. So I'm gonna move IG up just to get them away from MVK, because I don't like MVK's logo. [01:39:11] Speaker B: Very good. [01:39:12] Speaker A: Do you want to move them to seats here or to the top of F tier? [01:39:15] Speaker C: They're going to bottom of seats here. [01:39:17] Speaker A: Bottom below. [01:39:18] Speaker B: Damn. Juan Kia. I mean, I guess. I guess you can't move it up. So that makes sense. [01:39:22] Speaker A: Little guy holding the pack, you can [01:39:23] Speaker B: only move it up the tier. [01:39:26] Speaker A: Well, you can put it anywhere he wants in C tier. Oh, yeah. Somewhere else in C. Come on, it's [01:39:32] Speaker B: got to be better. [01:39:33] Speaker C: Yeah. Between Hana Life and dk, I. I [01:39:36] Speaker A: think that that actually makes dk. [01:39:38] Speaker C: Sorry. [01:39:39] Speaker A: Also for the record, I did just kind of put ign F tier 4 badger. So I guess maybe I kind of robbed that one of them. But speaking of Badger, you're gonna move one up or down? Now what would you like to move? [01:39:51] Speaker D: Yanni, do you want to go first? I'm still thinking about it. [01:39:54] Speaker B: Yeah, actually, I will. I'd like to move Hanwell Life Esports to the bottom of B tier. [01:39:59] Speaker A: Bottom of B tier. [01:40:00] Speaker C: Okay. [01:40:01] Speaker A: I think that's. [01:40:02] Speaker B: That's. [01:40:02] Speaker C: That's fair. [01:40:03] Speaker A: You were at a good point. Three colors. It's a unique looking logo for sure. Okay, I think that's fine. And again, I think that we're, you know, embarrassment of riches over here. All of these logos on average are very high compared to what we usually. Yeah, like. [01:40:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I agree. [01:40:20] Speaker A: The average is very high this year, [01:40:22] Speaker D: which means something needs to go down. [01:40:24] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [01:40:27] Speaker D: No, I'm kidding. I. I think the best animal. Second best animal. The logo, let's be honest, outside of Al, is Lion. And I. I think lion needs to go up to below Al on the bottom. On the bottom of S tier. [01:40:47] Speaker A: Oh, the lion moving up. [01:40:51] Speaker B: Interesting. [01:40:52] Speaker A: Wow. 3s tier logos then with G2, Al and Lion. [01:40:57] Speaker B: You know, I don't think I would have moved lion to S, but I certainly would have moved them to the top of A. Yeah, they're like, they're that. They're that close. So I'm not. [01:41:06] Speaker C: I think I would have put lion top of A and then moved CFO down to B. So we have the perfect two teams at the top, two teams at the bottom, five in each of the middle. [01:41:16] Speaker B: Yeah, well, we have to have CFO and A tier because it's the animal [01:41:21] Speaker C: tier and they don't have an oyster on their logo. [01:41:27] Speaker A: Oh, my God. It took me longer than I proud of. [01:41:31] Speaker B: It would. It would have been very much better if their logo was like a clamshell. So somehow or an oyster shot. [01:41:36] Speaker A: Oh, you're right. [01:41:37] Speaker C: You're right. [01:41:37] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:41:38] Speaker A: Let's move them down to C tier. [01:41:39] Speaker D: For what the is a flying oyster. [01:41:44] Speaker B: The last line, the last. The last thing you see before you get knocked out at oyster at a bucket shuck oysters. [01:41:50] Speaker A: Is that a chain and. [01:41:52] Speaker B: No, no, no, it's what it's called. Austin. No, I live in New Jersey. It's just what. It's just what you called when it's like a dollar per oyster. It's called Buckishuck oysters. [01:42:02] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a good name for it. [01:42:04] Speaker D: Wow. [01:42:04] Speaker A: Whoever came up with that, well done. All right, here's the final list for us. For all those following along diligently, audio wise, we got G2, Al and Lion, and S tier, A tier, five teams with Team Liquid, T1, C9, Furia and CFO. I can't believe they stayed an A. I thought somebody else was gonna move them down with me. Then B tier, we got Top esports, team Secret Whales, BLG with the. The thumb, and hle. C tier, I can't believe Gen G is actually below hle, but C tier, we got Gen G, kc, mco, IG and dk. F tier alone. Not alone. Actually, they got company. We got LOS and mvk. All right, I think that this is probably the one I agree with the least in terms of all these two we've done. [01:42:54] Speaker D: If I did this, we did a good job. [01:42:56] Speaker A: Very different. But that's the fun of this, is that we get a hive mind together. [01:43:01] Speaker B: I mean, you also already showed earlier in the episode that your tier list can't be trusted after you disagreed with. No, no. My name with like, all of us. [01:43:09] Speaker A: Well, again, as a matter of taste. That's the beauty of it. I don't like AI Generated logos, and I don't like paint by numbers World's anthems. Nah, it's fine. It's a fine Anthony anthem. I'm just. I think it's funny to poke the bear because all of you appear to enjoy the song, and hopefully everybody listening along also enjoyed the episode because that's gonna do it. That's the play INS preview. We gave our takes on the teams. We give our takes on the logos for Worlds and everything in between. Also, shout out I forgot to do this earlier in the podcast, but shout out to the prediction winners from summer split. I finally tabulated all of the predictions that we've mounted up throughout the entire summer. And in lec, starting from the bottom, last place, technically Jamata, which is very ironic, but I'm not gonna count it because he didn't even have 10 total game predictions. He was only on for, I believe, two different episodes to give predictions. So he was at 63%. Next lowest is Badger at 64%, which is still a pretty respectable percentage. I will say for our podcast, I feel like we have gotten much better as a squad. There were years when we would all, like, have multiple people around 50 specifically for LEC. So 64. I'm barely above at 67%. Then we have Yanni. Yeah, 6, 7. Yanni at 73%. Barely below Bickel at 74%. No. Bickle filled out his predictions every single week. Even when he wasn't able to hop on the podcast, the goat continued the percentage. And, like, the incredible rate, 74 is very high. Only beaten by Mazelle, who only had a couple of weeks of predictions. I think it was three total, but he smashed all those weeks 14 and four, so. So I. I discount it if you didn't have at least 10 games that you predicted. So that's why Jamadas aren't going to be counted. But Mazelle. 14 and 4 is a 78 prediction rate. So shout out Mazel for winning LEC, then LCS. Yeah, LCS at the bottom. Sadly, it's me. 61. [01:45:29] Speaker B: It's not you. [01:45:31] Speaker A: Mazel had 50. He went 5 and 5 in LCS, so. Okay, there we go. Mizell's holding it down. I had 61. Badger at 64. You had 64 in both LEC and LCS. [01:45:43] Speaker B: That's remarkably consistent. [01:45:45] Speaker A: Well done. Then it is Bickle at 73. That's right. In LEC and LCS, he averaged at, like, 73.5 prediction rate. That's awesome. Which rounded up as just 74. So well done. Bickle only beaten by Jamada, who doesn't count because he was only 3 and 1. But Yanni does 9 and 3 for a 75 prediction rate. Well done, Yanni, for taking LEC. I guess the secret to winning these is to only give predictions for, like, three of the episodes. [01:46:20] Speaker B: Yeah, and not only that. Highest average percentage, because I got 74. Yeah, I got 75. [01:46:28] Speaker A: 1% higher average than Bickle. [01:46:31] Speaker B: 0.5. [01:46:31] Speaker C: I demand a higher minimum game count. [01:46:35] Speaker A: No, I would have taken both I [01:46:37] Speaker B: will fully admit that Bickle's predictions are far more impressive than mine. [01:46:42] Speaker A: I, I would argue as well. So you know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna say because Mizel won LEC and Yanni won lcs, but both of them were low on prediction rate, I'm gonna crown Bickle as the, the overall league rundown summer split prediction champion. Congratulations, Bickle. [01:47:01] Speaker B: Well done. Mazzella and I got first team, but Bickle got mvp. [01:47:05] Speaker A: Yes. Yes. There we go. So there we have it. That's a little update there. It took a while for me to tabulate all of those, but officially we have them. And that's also the world's preview. Like I had said reminder, it's going to be Thursday, 11am PST. Set your alarms and see me on the show. It's gonna be super fun. I'm excited to be part of the world's broadcast for play ins this year. [01:47:28] Speaker B: Yeah. [01:47:28] Speaker A: And bring you all the stories. [01:47:30] Speaker B: He made it out the mud of NA tier 2. [01:47:34] Speaker A: I did. I, I. Man, it's crazy to think about how low the success rate is of actually doing that. [01:47:42] Speaker B: But remember, all of the ones that you've seen come and go. When you go and step on that stage to do your. [01:47:50] Speaker C: I will. [01:47:50] Speaker A: I will be carrying Rafa, I will be carrying Cubby. I will be carrying everybody along the NACL pipeline on my, on my heart. [01:48:01] Speaker C: Be proud of yourself. [01:48:03] Speaker A: Actually, they're gonna be lifting me up, so thanks everybody for listening along. If you made it to this part of the podcast, this is a long episode shout out to you and if you have any more time left, Yanni, how many stars review should they leave us? [01:48:17] Speaker B: Let me ask you something. How many tiers did we have on our tier list? [01:48:21] Speaker A: S, A, B, C, F. I can't count. [01:48:23] Speaker D: Whoa. [01:48:23] Speaker A: How many numbers? [01:48:24] Speaker B: I think that's five. So that means. [01:48:26] Speaker A: Wait, that's a good number of stars. [01:48:27] Speaker B: Yeah, it's a pretty good number of stars. And if you can go higher, I mean, like, it's just representative 100 of the stars. So if you happen to go up to 10, 100 of 10 is still 10. Very good. That should be your, your rating. [01:48:41] Speaker A: Okay, so just max out the, the meter essentially. [01:48:44] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, it go. It does not go to 11, but we will take 10. Can. [01:48:48] Speaker A: If you can do that. It helps us grow. The podcast, helps us get known. Thank you so much for anybody who has left a review. And again, for anybody who made it this far into a very long episode. Worlds is about to start. Get ready, everybody. Because we sure are. And just know this. We love you. And we'll see you next time. [01:49:05] Speaker B: Bye. [01:49:05] Speaker A: Bye. [01:49:06] Speaker D: Bye, everyone. [01:49:13] Speaker A: I don't know why we were doing silver scrapes, but I just leaned into it. [01:49:16] Speaker B: That's just the first thing I think [01:49:17] Speaker A: of when I think of. Sam.
