[00:00:27] Speaker A: Oh my God. Sub passes through and manages to turn the tables with Messiah tanking it up. I do not believe he just leave.
Lot of love. Thank you, boy.
What? I cannot understand this game.
Unicorns of Love. It wasn't. Who did it? The Nexus.
Hello and welcome to episode 540 of the League Rundown. This is 2025 off season continued. And this episode is lovingly entitled Stats down. Leo versus the Pod. I'm your host Kangas and I'm joined by a whole host of esteemed co hosts. Up first we have Mr. Mazel Piel calling from his Internet traveling right now his on fire living room.
[00:01:36] Speaker B: I'm so sorry about the audio but I'm happy to be here. It's going to be a fun one.
[00:01:39] Speaker A: Hey, we are still happy to have you as well. It's off season. We're just messing around at this point, so props as well to Ian, our audio guy who's going to have to balance all of his audio because we're only using the Discord bot. Love you Ian. We love you, Ian. Thank you for that. Also joining alongside we have Fresh out of the can, Badger.
[00:01:59] Speaker C: I heard there was trivia.
That's. That's. That was my. That's my subtle return to come back.
[00:02:06] Speaker A: That's all that gets you out of the candy.
[00:02:07] Speaker C: Wait. Breaking LCK news. You ready?
[00:02:10] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:02:11] Speaker C: Fear X has a new tricode. It's bfx.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: Why?
[00:02:18] Speaker C: I don't know.
[00:02:19] Speaker A: Wait, where's the B coming from? I don't understand.
[00:02:22] Speaker C: Their. Their team is called BNK Fear X.
[00:02:25] Speaker A: No, they're not. Don't make things up.
[00:02:27] Speaker C: You're just. I'm looking at the tweet right now.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: All right, well, I was. When you say breaking news lck. I definitely had higher expectations than that.
[00:02:38] Speaker C: No, no, they're announced everything. That's already. Do I get another seconds for LCK Ronson?
[00:02:45] Speaker A: You know what, how about this? We will give you another 60 seconds because you might get one other fact out during this 60 seconds. But first let's introduce everybody else who's on the pod we have joining us once again as guests host. We have random Minion Caster joining us. That's CB Low Caster and also has been on the podcast in the past. Happy to have you back, rmc.
[00:03:05] Speaker D: Glad to be back. I'm homeless. CB Law no longer exists. So you know, looking for a new place to hang out now.
[00:03:10] Speaker A: So now you're a latas caster, right? You can brand yourself as that.
[00:03:16] Speaker D: I don't even know if I'm casting a test?
[00:03:18] Speaker A: We'll have to find out. All right, well, if you do let us know. We'll have breaking news on the pod for you for sure.
[00:03:25] Speaker D: And by the way, I did want to give Badger credit. He did say breaking news from the Ock and BNK is breaking news from Korea, so.
[00:03:33] Speaker A: Okay, there we go. You know he's living up.
[00:03:37] Speaker C: Yeah, it's fine.
[00:03:39] Speaker A: Well, thank you for being on either way rmc. We're happy to have you as always.
[00:03:43] Speaker D: I'm just back you up here, Badger.
[00:03:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:03:46] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:03:46] Speaker A: Not accept.
[00:03:47] Speaker C: I feel like there's a bigger piece of news that came out today, but that's fine too.
[00:03:52] Speaker A: All right. I can tell there's great synergy here because it's an off season episode. We're going to talk a little bit about the roster news, but we're also going to play a game show, AKA stat show. So we had to bring on very special guest returning again to the podcast as well. LCS stats guy now Latan stats guy, I suppose. Leo. Welcome back to the show, Leo.
[00:04:12] Speaker E: Hello. Hello. Thank you. Thank you. I just like to start off by answering a question I was asked last time I was on here about my favorite piece of league rundown merch. And of course it is the Giga Kangas tank top.
[00:04:25] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:04:26] Speaker E: What a beautiful piece of clothing.
[00:04:28] Speaker A: I honestly forgot that that existed.
Again, I did not design any of the clothing. Fantastic choices. It was Sam and it was Duffy. But yeah, if you want to. Thank you for the plug. I guess if you want to buy T shirts or tank tops, we got mouse pads. Go check out the merch shop League Christmas is coming up. I got the hat. I got the. The mug. That mug is awesome by the way. I love using that one.
[00:04:54] Speaker B: If I don't get sent to Kangas Gigachad tank top for Christmas, I'll be very sad.
[00:04:58] Speaker A: Oh, Mazella, I got you something much better than the King T shirt for for Christmas. Don't you worry. Wait. Yeah.
[00:05:06] Speaker C: Your gal retired.
[00:05:09] Speaker A: Oh, is this actual. Okay, I guess we're just reacting to Twitter.
[00:05:14] Speaker B: You didn't know that?
[00:05:15] Speaker C: No. I pulled up leaked pediatrics to get all the gay rosters ready and the first thing I see is Yagao retires.
[00:05:22] Speaker E: I can't believe permanently online the timing of it too.
[00:05:27] Speaker D: Cagus is like, yeah, I got Mazella something for Christmas.
[00:05:30] Speaker C: Merry Christmas.
[00:05:32] Speaker B: That's not a Christmas present. That's a awful present.
He will go down as the ultimate scapegoat of the LPL in really though, it's crazy.
[00:05:46] Speaker A: I Don't know.
But it is unfortunate to see players like that retire. I mean, of course, he has been around for quite a while, so. How long did he play in the LPL?
[00:05:58] Speaker B: Five, eight years, I think.
[00:06:01] Speaker C: As if. Yeah, because it was 20. I thought it was 17.
[00:06:05] Speaker B: 16. 2017. Yeah.
[00:06:11] Speaker D: On JDG Crazy.
[00:06:14] Speaker A: There were a couple of moves going on over in lpl. I know, but we'll be saving that for next episode because first off, Mizel will have better audio and he is our resident LPL expert. And also, we can talk a little bit more about some cool news that Mizel, you just dropped, but do you want to give the spark notes of it right now for the audience in case they're interested?
[00:06:32] Speaker B: Sure.
Me and a few others, Kelsey Moser, Alec, Battery and Kai have put together or at least started putting together an official broadcast or unofficial broadcast for LPL next year. So we're gonna try to make it as close as possible to the real thing that we can get to. It's gonna be a good time.
[00:06:49] Speaker A: Hell, yeah. So I know that it's open for CO streamers. Really, anybody can get involved. But if you are interested in LPL stories and following the league, check out what they put together. Because the importance of having more unified product like this, as opposed to just following a CO streamer, is that you really get the history, the background, more focus on the narratives of the players and kind of what's going on in the league, as opposed to just the reactionary stuff of like, oh, that was a play that happened. So, yeah, I think it's really cool that you're doing that. We'll be following that on this podcast, I imagine, quite closely.
So we'll have some more news about that. We can dive deeper into it next week. But for now, there's a couple of roster news that we can talk about here before getting into our stats down game. Show up first. G2 roster has been confirmed. Badger, were you following this news at all? It was heavily rumored and basically the rumor just came out to be true.
[00:07:41] Speaker C: Um, I. Yeah, I don't know who this jungler is. I'm not gonna lie. I don't keep up with EU masters as much as I used to. So is this guy, like, good? Does anybody.
[00:07:50] Speaker A: Oh, this guy is.
[00:07:52] Speaker C: He's good. But is he, like. Is he like, G2, the savior of G2? Good, because I know Labrad is like, hit or miss as a support in.
[00:08:04] Speaker A: Lec, but if anybody else has more information, feel free to hop in. But the way it's been described to me specifically from Bickle on the pod, who knows is a little closer to the ground when it comes to this kind of stuff. Is Schumann the new jungler coming in? Rookie jungler has been one of the top prospects in the EMEA system.
Not like the number one. I believe that is the case.
80 carry that's coming in.
[00:08:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:08:31] Speaker A: Yeah. But Skmod is considered like, especially for a jungler like the next coming, which is basically going to be the second time now that they've really taken a chance on a rookie jungler. Brand new jungler coming in because yike. Kind of similar story but expectations are relatively high for Skewmon to be like, yep, he's going to be new, but he's good. He's. He's a really good pickup. So hopefully it works out for them. Does anybody else have any insight into G2 or specifically skewmond?
[00:09:01] Speaker D: All I know about this guy is he played a lot of Nunu Jungle in solo king class and he had, I believe multiple offers in the off season from LEC teams. So he basically had his pick of the litter.
[00:09:12] Speaker A: Yeah. And if you get your figure the litter. But G2 offers you a spot, you're probably going to.
[00:09:17] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:09:19] Speaker D: Because he's from the BDS Academy team and BDS offered. Then he would know.
[00:09:23] Speaker A: And did they.
Did they win the EMEA masters? The tier 2?
[00:09:29] Speaker D: I know they lost in the finals to Carmine, didn't they? Carmine?
[00:09:35] Speaker C: They beat Vitality B in finals. They lost.
They lost to KCB in spring.
[00:09:43] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I just remember him being in finals and like I. I thought he had won one. But either way there was expectation hype around that. So very excited for Schumann. And also just the content that G2 put out. If you didn't see their announcement video. Very creative, very fun.
Not to spoil too much, but it's basically just they connect with all the people on the team and it's like, oh, this is now decades in the future and they're reminiscing on this roster that they're announcing today of like oh, the glory days.
[00:10:12] Speaker C: Really well, I think it's really cool.
[00:10:14] Speaker A: I.
[00:10:15] Speaker C: But it's bold.
[00:10:16] Speaker A: You're right, Badger. It's bold.
[00:10:17] Speaker C: You know, there's the like all the different sports have like or like there's a. Actually is there a LOL esports images that unfortunate. Whatever it is. Like they have like the pictures that are like that don't age well.
[00:10:32] Speaker A: Oh, the precede unfortunate events.
G2's got a whole category of those.
[00:10:38] Speaker C: I was gonna Say, I have a feeling this. This might fall in that category depending on how things go, but definitely could.
[00:10:45] Speaker A: Well, yeah, there's hope that this roster can work. It's lec, so expectation is it will work. I mean, LAC teams are trash. Am I right?
Speaking of teams may or may not be trash.
Oh, as we move over to LTA ltan, there was a player, the Latan, there's a player that is rumored to be joining Dignitas, which gives us even more insight into the roster. Jungle has been kind of like teased Slash leaked, not Spica, as a lot of people were expecting. Shaden coming in to Dignitas. If you remember Shaden, he played on Evil Geniuses, split time with our Mayo back in, I believe it was summer of 23.
I don't think we saw him at the LLCs level in 24, unless my memory is incorrect. But either way, he will be expected to join Dignitas going into this next year.
Let's get everyone's thoughts on this one. Start with Leo, the. The stats guy. Do you have any Fun Shaden stats.
[00:11:52] Speaker E: From his time of the LCS time in the lcs? No, I have not prepped that, but I have prepped his NACL summer stats. So fourth in KDA, first in overall kills, second in overall assists. He had the fourth most deaths though. And he's also tied eighth for kills and assists at 14, which is one of the ways you judge a Jungler's effectiveness. Yeah, tied eighth, Tide eighth.
[00:12:21] Speaker A: And that's just for Junglers, right? Not that's just for Junglers. Okay, I was gonna say first and kills is crazy, but that could be.
[00:12:29] Speaker E: A function of just more games played. So, yes, total kills doesn't really matter.
[00:12:34] Speaker A: True, true. But yeah, so it was 8th in kills and assists at 14. Was that it?
[00:12:40] Speaker E: Yes.
[00:12:41] Speaker A: Yeah, that's not super high action, but we did see, I think in summer we still had the brand Zyra meta kind of happening.
It was fearless draft, so you can't play it all the time, but that might have affected Junglers, you know, KDA or kills plus assist at that time. But still, if that's a matter, everyone's theoretically doing it, so it's still tough.
[00:13:05] Speaker E: Yeah. And to be fair, so his kill plus assist at 14 was 2.7. First place was Winnie at 3.2, so he's not too far behind. Yeah, but when you're comparing it to the 2024 summer class, it's not what you'd expect from a player joining a tier one team.
[00:13:23] Speaker A: Yeah, typically, unless your heads and shoulders above your peers at the Tier 2 level, it's tough to move up. He has had a lot of opportunities to interact with people at the tier one level, though, especially with assignment eg. So sometimes you're able to still kind of use that past reputation to get up there. But do you have thoughts, Mazela?
[00:13:43] Speaker B: I do. So this is. Obviously I'm really good friends with Kelsey Moser, but she has a lot of faith in this guy. And I think what happens with Shaden is not only is he a little bit toxic, but he has a lot of motivation issues.
And I think the stuff that happened with him having a spot on EG and then everything like that falling through, I think that really hit his. Not confidence, but like his willpower, I guess. So I'm really hoping we see a revitalized Shaden because I think at the top of this game we remember him from years before. Not just last year's stats or whatever, but he dominated our league. And so I think being able to see him at his highest highs again is something I really hope we get to see.
[00:14:27] Speaker A: Yeah, it's a good point. And Serdi Shaden was a big lane that we were tracking because of course they were playing together.
And both of these players were ones that we kept reminding people all year during the NACL expectations if there were 10 teams in the league were that both of them would have been in LCS in 2024.
But then two teams go away and surprise, surprise, these two players are still in NACL for one more year. So from that perspective, it's cool to see him move up. We'll see if that toxicity has changed because that is a tough R reputation to carry around with you. We've seen it haunt players like Dardoch for his entire career and that's kind of like the big jungle comparison that you could pull with Shade in here. But.
[00:15:08] Speaker B: But players really like him and I think that's the difference maker in between. Between him and Dardog.
[00:15:15] Speaker A: All right, well, we'll see if it works out for Dignitas going into next year and also whenever it is finally confirmed. Usually these are correct when these rumors drop, but still have to wait for final confirmation from the team. But there is something confirmed here. Badger. This is an LCK bomb that dropped T1 legendary organization has hired a new positional coach for the Academy team, but still a notable name. Am I reading this correct? Do you want to. Do you want to drop it for me?
[00:15:46] Speaker C: Yeah, it's this person you might have heard of named Piglet Wow.
They. The most notable moment of his career is the. Is the double teleport from Darshan and who. He's burying the lead on this one.
[00:16:08] Speaker A: Oh, sorry, sorry.
[00:16:08] Speaker C: Yeah, he got double TP'd on. He was only expecting one. There was two.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: There were two.
[00:16:14] Speaker C: There were two TPS.
[00:16:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I like where you're going with it.
[00:16:18] Speaker C: Yeah, I know. 2013 World Championship winning ad carry piglet is. Talk about T1.
Yeah, you're right. Hey, I mean, that's all I gotta say at this point for him. But he's joining as a positional coach, I assume to work with Crash, or is it Smash or whatever. The mash.
[00:16:42] Speaker A: Something Flash.
Yep, one of those.
[00:16:47] Speaker C: So, yeah.
[00:16:49] Speaker A: Well, either way, that's going to be entertainment. I know that social media has kind of popped off about it just because it's Piglet. Right. I mean, Mel was, like, talking about. Right. He's got a reputation here in the West. And one notable CO streamer, Dom has been very excited about the return as apparently he has just been flaming that guy his whole career. So that'll be fun.
Yeah. They did play together, didn't they?
[00:17:16] Speaker C: Yes. Yes, they did.
[00:17:18] Speaker A: What a time. What a time to be alive.
But, yeah, that's cool. A little bit of LCK news. We'll have some more next week. Badger, I'll give you 30 seconds. Is there anything else lck you want to drop while we're here?
[00:17:32] Speaker C: Pays went to jdg.
[00:17:34] Speaker A: I think we already covered that last week.
[00:17:36] Speaker C: That's. That's about it. I think everyone's pretty much solidified at this point, so.
[00:17:41] Speaker A: Okay. Well, cool. There we go. Hey, you got it in under 30 seconds.
[00:17:45] Speaker C: I got it under 30 seconds. You're right. And it was coherent this time.
[00:17:49] Speaker A: It was.
[00:17:50] Speaker C: I think I didn't get thrown on the spot.
[00:17:53] Speaker A: Wild.
Hey, you know, sometimes you. When you're teaching your kid how to swim, you just throw them in the deep end and just trust the process, you know, you just.
[00:18:04] Speaker B: That's how I TP on.
[00:18:09] Speaker A: All right, well, that is it for news that we're going to cover on this episode. We'll have more next week when we have specifically a deeper dive into LPL stuff. But before we get into the game show itself, remember that we are hosting our own tournament this weekend, the League Rundown Snowdown Showdown. December 14th and 15th teams are still signing up. The final roster lock is tomorrow night. So by the time you're hearing this podcast episode that evening, and it's looking like guaranteed four teams, we're hoping to get up to eight teams. But we're waiting to see how many people sign up by the end of the day. And then we'll be able to talk about more what the 4 format's gonna look like once we know how many teams are actually signed up and locked in going into Saturday. But thank you to our Patreon supporters who have been helping with that. We're still working on getting all the Patreon Bullshittery episodes caught up, but we are getting there. We're close, so thanks for sticking with us there.
Yeah. And also reminder, if you want to join the community Discord, you can check out the link in the description wherever you are listening and come join in on the conversation. Let us know how well you did in the Stats down episode, Leo versus the Pod. Would you have won? Because that's what we're hopping into next. I had this idea. It's off season. We're just having fun. We're bullshitting around. So Leo, friend of the podcast, is the official stats guy for LCS this past year. Expected for ltan. Won't have him spoil anything in case he's not able to. But either way, for right now, he's our stats guy officially, and I wanted to check his knowledge versus the pod. So I have created a little show for us to play, a little little game for us to play with three different categories. One is summer playoffs. Number two is all summer long. And number three is all time stats. There's five questions in each category. We're going to alternate who gets to answer first. It's going to be a simple question. If you have the simple answer, you get a point. If you don't, the opponents have a chance to steal. Now it's gonna be Leo's brand alone versus the rest of the podcast to see can the LCS dance guy beat the league rundown at a game of LCS stats? Are there any questions before we hop in? Gentlemen?
I'm gonna take that silence.
[00:20:23] Speaker C: I. We'll. We'll figure it out as we go.
[00:20:26] Speaker E: Yeah. What are the answers? Can you.
[00:20:28] Speaker A: No, no, that's not how a game works.
[00:20:31] Speaker D: Yeah, you know what? You had the question. So you know.
[00:20:36] Speaker A: Actually what you didn't know is I count as team podcast, so I can actually.
Leo, I have full faith in you.
[00:20:48] Speaker E: I believe I don't.
[00:20:51] Speaker A: All right, well, if there's no questions, we are going to hop right into it. Leo, since you are on your own team, you're fully alone, I will give you the chance to choose. Do you want the first question or do you Want to go second and have a chance to steal instead?
[00:21:08] Speaker E: No. Give me the first question.
[00:21:09] Speaker A: You'll take the first question. Now this category is just LCS Summer Playoffs. I chose playoffs and then all summer long just because it's the most recent that happened. So I figured it's going to be the highest chance of us remembering some of these stats. So it'll be the most relevant for this show. Question number one for LCS Summer Playoffs. During the LCS Summer playoffs, who had the highest kda?
[00:21:34] Speaker E: Simple.
It was.
Oh, I think it was Masu because he. He had a huge glow up for worlds.
Oh God.
[00:21:48] Speaker A: I should have like a timer. I have a soundboard. I should have thought ahead to have down.
[00:21:54] Speaker E: I'll say. I'll say.
I'll say inspired.
[00:21:59] Speaker A: That is incorrect. It is not inspired. That means team podcast has an opportunity to steal.
[00:22:05] Speaker D: This is playoffs only, right? Summer playoffs.
[00:22:07] Speaker A: Playoffs. Summer playoffs only.
[00:22:09] Speaker D: Masu 100. I remember this rookie went nuts. He had the highest kda.
[00:22:14] Speaker A: Badger. Mizel, you can provide your input if you want or.
[00:22:18] Speaker C: That sounds. That sounded right.
The first two names that came to mind were Yan and Masu. But I think Masu's right.
[00:22:27] Speaker A: All right, so that's a majority. I'm going to count that as your official answer. And ding, ding, ding. That is correct. Masu at 10 0.
[00:22:35] Speaker B: So we just call it here. We're done.
[00:22:38] Speaker C: Can I also just over.
[00:22:40] Speaker D: I hope this isn't a stat that you're asking Kangas. Yeah, but I'm going to swallow right now MAS at the lowest average deaths and that's why you're at the highest kda.
[00:22:46] Speaker A: Hell yeah. I didn't know that part. Not the spoil. Any future questions.
[00:22:51] Speaker E: Oh Lord.
[00:22:52] Speaker A: But the only player to have above a 10 KDA. Yeah, Masu popped off. There's a reason he got rookie of the year. And also even at world still had an insane glow up.
But it started in playoffs. He had an incredible playoffs run. So shout out to Masu. That means it is a point for team podcast. And also question to team podcast. Leo, rough start. Sorry man.
But question number two.
Which laning player had the lowest CS per minute in summer?
[00:23:29] Speaker B: It's gotta be apa. It's gotta be apa.
[00:23:32] Speaker A: But.
[00:23:32] Speaker D: But supports our laners, right?
[00:23:35] Speaker A: I. I will say right now. I will say right now it is only somebody who is top mid or 80 carry. Oh, top mid there.
[00:23:45] Speaker B: Oh, it's got to be a top liner then, right?
[00:23:48] Speaker C: No, it's. Yeah.
[00:23:50] Speaker B: God.
[00:23:50] Speaker C: Who got.
[00:23:53] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:23:57] Speaker D: Why does it feel like that in playoffs?
[00:24:01] Speaker A: I don't know. Was it.
[00:24:03] Speaker C: Oh, God.
[00:24:04] Speaker A: All right, what do we think? Start. Start listing options. Let's start thinking.
[00:24:07] Speaker C: I think so. BWIPO or Impact are the first two players that come to mind because they're the oldest school players and they'll throw their ego off to the side just so they can go throwing. Get thrown in a lane swap and then just sacrifice their first, like six minutes of the game just so that their team can get ahead. Their. Their ads can get ahead. But I feel like that's not right.
[00:24:31] Speaker D: Oh.
[00:24:31] Speaker C: Because on the. In the Converse, it's the teams that they played against who have the can top laners that don't know how to lane swab.
And then they're the ones that die.
They're the ones that die for. Actually, wait, BWIPO is dying like four times for six minutes in lane swap meta. Anyways, and it doesn't matter. So.
[00:24:52] Speaker D: Yeah, the thing with the bipolar is I felt like he was experienced enough that he'd probably still be able to pick up some.
[00:24:57] Speaker C: He still pick up the farm. He dies a bit, but he gets the farm.
[00:25:02] Speaker D: In my mind, I was thinking Sniper, because I remember Sniper having some really bad.
[00:25:07] Speaker C: Oh, that's actually a good call because they played fly.
[00:25:14] Speaker A: All right, I'm gonna say games.
[00:25:19] Speaker D: I'm not confident, though. I. I don't know.
[00:25:22] Speaker C: It's a top lane.
[00:25:24] Speaker A: It's just three, two, one.
[00:25:27] Speaker D: Okay. Sniper.
[00:25:29] Speaker A: All right. That's gonna be the final guess. And. Yeah, incorrect. Oh, Sniper is not a good choice. I like the logic, though. I. I saw the vision, but that means it is Elsie Estes Gate Leo who has an opportunity to steal the point.
[00:25:43] Speaker E: So I think it's either going to be Licorice or Dokla, but I'm having a hard time picking between them considering the fact that Dig got smashed against 100 Thieves and then went 5 games with NRG.
I'm gonna have to go with. I'm gonna have to go with Dokla.
[00:26:07] Speaker A: Okay. The last minute pivot to docla, even though everything you were just saying made it sound us on the edge of our seat and Ding, ding, ding. That is correct.
[00:26:17] Speaker C: Let's go.
[00:26:18] Speaker A: Club with 6.43 CS per minute. Very rough stat. But you were all right on the money. It was lane swap meta. Right. And I think DOA and Energy were one of, if not the worst team at playing, or at least they're having their top lane in.
[00:26:34] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah.
[00:26:36] Speaker A: They were constantly getting lane swapped on. Do was really struggling when it came to the lane swaps. So.
[00:26:42] Speaker E: And now it can struggle.
[00:26:46] Speaker A: Oh, true.
All right. Well, there we go. That is one point to Leo. Look at that. You're stealing points from each other. This is so much fun. But that means it is Leo's turn. Question number three. During LCS summer playoffs, who had the highest kill share? That means highest total kill percentage on their team.
[00:27:08] Speaker E: Oh, kill. Like kills only. Not kill participation. Kills only.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Not kill participation. Kill only. So they had this percentage of the team's total kills.
[00:27:18] Speaker E: Ooh, I'll say Masu.
[00:27:21] Speaker A: You're gonna say Masu again for Fly Quest. You're thinking highest kda Makes sense. It would be the highest kill share. That is incorrect. He was not the biggest carry for his team proportionally in the playoffs. So that means that it is a chance for Team Pod to have a steal. What would you like to go for?
[00:27:41] Speaker C: Does it feel like it's gotta be like, who is the 100 Thieves 80?
[00:27:50] Speaker D: That would be quid. Wasn't there.
[00:27:54] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:27:54] Speaker C: Why? Because I think I thought Tomo had majority. Like, perspectively speaking, he had a lot of kills on a team that even like games that they were like playing bad. It felt like he was doing really well.
I don't know. I don't know if that logic is like sound in this.
[00:28:10] Speaker B: Again, I like the logic.
[00:28:11] Speaker C: Going back to.
[00:28:12] Speaker D: I like the logic.
[00:28:13] Speaker C: It makes sense going back to 80s killing top laners in lane swap dives just because that was unfortunately the meta that we had to deal with for the back half of the year. It just feels like homo.
It's gotta be like Tomo or.
[00:28:31] Speaker A: Think of the player that proportionally just was the biggest carry for their team. That's the hint I'll give because I'm technically Team Pod and I want them to win this game.
[00:28:40] Speaker C: Damn.
[00:28:41] Speaker D: I'm gonna be honest. My thought was master too. And since it's not, I. I don't know.
[00:28:45] Speaker E: I mean, Kangas will be the only thing you'll win this week anyway, so.
Caster Clash Friday.
[00:28:54] Speaker A: Shut the shout out.
Anybody who's aware of Caster Clash? It's a tournament I host at the end of every year for tier 2 and below production and casters to participate in. Notably, I have a very bad win rate in it. So Leo will be on Team Production. But anyway, that's an aside. Five seconds to lock in your final guest.
[00:29:15] Speaker C: I'm just. I keep going back to Tomo.
[00:29:20] Speaker B: I guess I get. I'm not super confident.
[00:29:23] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't know.
[00:29:26] Speaker A: I heard one name listed from Team Pod. And it was tomo. And that is in correct.
[00:29:31] Speaker E: Okay, what if we just keep going back and forth?
[00:29:33] Speaker A: Now that's against the spirit of the game. Although you know what? We are making up the rules kind of as we go.
What do we think, guys? We just want to keep going back.
[00:29:44] Speaker E: We list out the entire playoff rosters?
[00:29:47] Speaker A: Yeah, why not? All right. What do you think, Leo? Can you guess it?
[00:29:51] Speaker E: Here, give me. Give me. Yawn.
[00:29:54] Speaker A: All right, team.
[00:29:56] Speaker D: Okay. I think it's an ad Carry. That'd be my guess, so.
[00:30:01] Speaker A: I already hate that we changed this world. It's gonna take so much longer.
[00:30:07] Speaker B: I actually think it's a mid laner. I don't know why, but I have a feeling it's mid laner and I'm feeling.
[00:30:12] Speaker C: Oh, you think it's quiet.
[00:30:13] Speaker B: Is it quad or is it quid?
[00:30:18] Speaker D: Because Masu, I think, had more kills.
So like kill share would go to Masu? No, because Masu had more. He had it because of four.
[00:30:27] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:30:27] Speaker A: Three, two, one.
[00:30:31] Speaker C: Whoever, the last.
[00:30:35] Speaker A: So I'm gonna go with that. And it is not quid.
[00:30:38] Speaker E: Give me apa.
[00:30:43] Speaker A: Guys, you're really not understanding the assignment here. Who was the highest carry proportional to their team?
It doesn't have to be a good team. It just has to be 18. It's. This doesn't mean they got a lot of kills. It just means they had the highest kill share for their team. Playoffs.
What was that actually?
[00:31:01] Speaker D: Yeah, well, did river have that many kills?
[00:31:06] Speaker C: River honestly sounds like not that bad of a guess, but.
[00:31:10] Speaker D: Yeah, that's right. I know. He.
[00:31:11] Speaker A: I'm gonna count it as a guess then. That is not correct.
[00:31:14] Speaker E: Give me Jensen.
[00:31:18] Speaker A: That's incorrect.
[00:31:19] Speaker D: If we're talking. Wait, why would you pick Jensen? Leo.
[00:31:25] Speaker E: Like, looking at like the stats from this summer and like, Jensen was surprisingly high.
So I was like, hey, maybe he snuck in there. I don't know.
[00:31:35] Speaker D: Because that's funny. Because if we're talking dig, I vaguely remember Sven having more like higher kill.
[00:31:42] Speaker A: Thank God. Ding, ding. I'm just gonna give it. It was 33.1% kill share. He got over.
[00:31:50] Speaker B: My first thoughts was that was Ben. But I was like, no way.
[00:31:54] Speaker D: Like, I gotta be honest, I was not even thinking Dignitas whatsoever. That's why Rocking Leo wants to be a good team.
[00:31:59] Speaker A: It's just the highest personal carry on their team. Dignitas was not a good team. But Sven, yeah, he did a lot of the carrying on that team. Crazy. That's crazy. And I'm just gonna say I'm not Giving anybody a point for that one. That took all one.
[00:32:14] Speaker C: That's fair.
[00:32:15] Speaker A: We're. We're not doing the bouncy back and forth. It's gonna take too long. We're just gonna move on to question four and I've already forgotten.
[00:32:20] Speaker C: Wait.
[00:32:20] Speaker A: Okay, so Leo went first, then it was Pod, then Leo. This is Pod again. Pod. You have the chance to get this point. Question number four. During LCS Summer playoffs, who had the most unique champions picked?
[00:32:35] Speaker C: Oh, that's gotta be.
[00:32:40] Speaker A: Got a logic through this too.
[00:32:42] Speaker B: Is it empty?
[00:32:46] Speaker A: No. What do you think, team? Is it empty?
[00:32:49] Speaker D: I. I thought there was more jungles being played in that meta.
[00:32:54] Speaker A: Right.
[00:32:55] Speaker D: Because we were like having.
[00:32:55] Speaker C: Is there more jungles being played in that meta?
[00:32:58] Speaker A: Well, I feel like Inspired would be.
[00:33:00] Speaker C: Like the better pick for that then if that's the case. Because inspired plays whatever the new.
[00:33:06] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. I'm down for inspired.
[00:33:10] Speaker C: I think it's.
[00:33:11] Speaker A: Final answer.
It is not inspired. Sorry.
[00:33:17] Speaker E: I was gonna go inspired too. That's crazy.
[00:33:22] Speaker A: Then you'll take Umpty. That is incorrect. You are both very close. Those were two of the highest players with unique champion pools. But it's actually river at 11.
Remember river was playing everything for under these also Hundred. He's played a lot of games. Yeah, that's something you need to think about is like it probably wouldn't be Flyquest because they just did really well.
[00:33:47] Speaker C: I forgot that river wasn't. Was the jungler for A Hundred Thieves. I thought he was jungling for Dignitas.
[00:33:53] Speaker A: And then they had some banger series going to the lower bracket. So they just had way more games played. So it would kind of skew towards him. So nobody gets that point. But it's back to Leo here. And this one, wait, is related.
[00:34:06] Speaker D: Sorry, before we go there. Umpty didn't Umpty. I thought Empty just got slammed on Sejuani Maokai duty. Like the entire.
[00:34:12] Speaker A: Pretty much pretty. Well, that was most of the year. I don't remember if that was the same. Okay. But.
[00:34:17] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:34:18] Speaker A: Yeah, either way. Question number five. The last question in the first category here is going to go back to Leo. It's tied one to one. So two of the qu. Two of the, you know, questions got answers. Two of them did not. This one is related to the last one, but it's a little tricky. Name two of the three players tied for least champions picked.
[00:34:44] Speaker E: Oh, God.
[00:34:46] Speaker A: You get 0.5 for each one. So if you only get one, but not the second, you will get 0.5. The other team can Then try to steal the other two.
So I'll tell you, there are three tied for least picked champs.
[00:35:03] Speaker E: Okay. I feel like one of them has to be JoJo.
[00:35:07] Speaker A: Okay, so that's one of your answers.
[00:35:09] Speaker E: Did like LeBlanc two or three times in a row and just got ran.
And Cloud 9 did get booted a bit fast, but I don't think it there'd be more than one Cloud9 player.
[00:35:28] Speaker A: Although actually you're thinking though of just who played the least games that theoretically should give you a high chance.
[00:35:35] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:35:42] Speaker A: Five, four.
[00:35:44] Speaker E: You know, I'll say. I'll say. Vulcan.
[00:35:47] Speaker A: Ding, ding, ding. Congratulations. Let's go, Leo. JoJo, Keown and Vulcan were tied. Not only was it two C9 players, Thanatos was also tied for least number of unique champs picks. These three players across eight playoff games only played three champions a piece.
[00:36:11] Speaker C: Wait, so the NRG guys who played five? All of the NRG guys played more champs in a five game set than.
[00:36:19] Speaker E: Okay, well, they had nine.
[00:36:20] Speaker D: Yeah.
[00:36:21] Speaker E: Energy.
[00:36:22] Speaker A: Okay, one more game.
Oh, true. That's right.
[00:36:25] Speaker C: Yeah, I see.
[00:36:27] Speaker D: Nine was like hyper basic. JoJo just like spammed. Corky and Thanos just spammed Cassantes dude.
[00:36:35] Speaker A: Like three players on the same team across eight games only played three unique champions. That is. Oh, man. And we wonder why he played Garen.
[00:36:44] Speaker B: And did their NASA's and did so badly.
[00:36:48] Speaker C: Yeah, they still won that game.
[00:36:49] Speaker E: Oh my God, he's going to lec.
[00:36:51] Speaker A: Hey, let's go. All right, well, end of the first category, Leo, LCS stats guy in the lead with two points. Team Podcast with only one. But it's all right. They can try and bounce it back right here, right now, because Team Podcast is up next. The next category is all summer long. These are stats that will apply to both playoffs and summer regular split.
Question number one for Team Pod. What was the number one most picked champion in summer split?
[00:37:21] Speaker C: Fuck.
[00:37:23] Speaker B: Is that not just Nautilus? I think maybe.
[00:37:27] Speaker C: What do you think it feels like most?
[00:37:29] Speaker B: Nautilus or Sejuani. Nautilus or Sejuani?
[00:37:32] Speaker A: Oh, sorry, sorry. This is highest presence. Highest presence. That's including.
[00:37:38] Speaker C: Oh, and bands.
[00:37:42] Speaker E: Is there a minimum game?
[00:37:45] Speaker A: Wait, no, I'm lying. It is. It is just Pigs.
[00:37:52] Speaker E: Is there a minimum game?
[00:37:53] Speaker D: Well, Aurora came up pretty late in the season.
[00:37:57] Speaker C: What do you mean game halfway through the season.
[00:38:01] Speaker E: Oh, never mind. We're not doing percentages, right?
[00:38:03] Speaker A: Not percentage. Yeah, just up.
[00:38:04] Speaker D: It's like absolute number.
[00:38:05] Speaker A: Oh. Think about the champions that were most popular just throughout all of summer.
[00:38:09] Speaker D: Okay, I'm just gonna throw out some of my thoughts. I'm thinking in top lane it was Renekton, Kasante Meta for most of it. Kasante probably, I think had more games mid lane. We had a crap ton of Corky being actually. Was he bad? I can't remember. Corky was. No.
Yeah. And then there was in support. Leon, was it?
[00:38:30] Speaker B: Part of me wants to say Sejuani.
[00:38:31] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:38:32] Speaker B: Leona, I seriously think Sejuani is picked.
[00:38:37] Speaker D: Three that I go back to brand Meta. Like for much of summer. Like the first half of summer.
[00:38:43] Speaker B: No, I don't think so.
[00:38:45] Speaker C: I was.
Yeah, I thought.
[00:38:49] Speaker B: I thought it was more spring that we were getting A.P. jones.
[00:38:52] Speaker C: Why does it just feel like Renekton is the obvious answer staring us in the face?
[00:38:56] Speaker B: Yeah, let's do it then.
[00:38:58] Speaker C: I don't know.
[00:38:59] Speaker A: All right, Going Renekton.
[00:39:01] Speaker C: Are you good with that rmc?
[00:39:04] Speaker D: Sure.
[00:39:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:39:05] Speaker D: Like I said, like one of those four. So yeah. Any of them I'm fine with.
[00:39:09] Speaker A: Ding ding. That is correct. It was Renekton. 88 total picks. Corky and Ash were tied for second.
[00:39:17] Speaker D: Perma band.
[00:39:19] Speaker A: Ash still made it through enough times.
[00:39:21] Speaker D: Okay.
[00:39:22] Speaker A: Yeah. There we go. Renekton.
[00:39:24] Speaker C: God, fucking death, taxes and Renekton in the top lane. Just.
[00:39:28] Speaker D: Good call.
[00:39:28] Speaker A: Good call. Leo, would that have been your answer?
[00:39:31] Speaker E: No, I was gonna say rail.
[00:39:33] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Interesting.
All right, well, it is over to you though, Leo. Question number two for our second category all summer long, who had the highest kill game in all of summer? Split.
[00:39:48] Speaker E: Yawn.
[00:39:49] Speaker D: Like team or player?
[00:39:50] Speaker A: Player. So the player who scored the most kills in a single game, you're going yawn.
[00:39:55] Speaker E: Pretty sure it's yawn.
[00:39:57] Speaker A: That is good. Correct. Team pot has a chance to seal.
Oh.
[00:40:06] Speaker B: Yeah. I feel like it has to be for some reason part of me is saying a mid laner.
[00:40:11] Speaker C: I was thinking a mid laner too.
[00:40:12] Speaker D: I remember quad picking up like a crap ton of kills on Zeri.
[00:40:20] Speaker A: Because he got.
[00:40:21] Speaker B: He got the grand slam. He got the one.
[00:40:28] Speaker A: It was a lot. Let's go. 17 kills in that game. You got 17 total.
[00:40:34] Speaker D: Damn.
[00:40:36] Speaker E: I hate. I hate this game.
I was so happy.
[00:40:41] Speaker C: Welcome to the club, brother.
[00:40:42] Speaker E: I was so hyped with the cycle. I can't believe I forgot.
[00:40:45] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:40:45] Speaker E: Cycle.
[00:40:46] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:40:46] Speaker E: My God. I Team.
[00:40:48] Speaker A: Team.
[00:40:49] Speaker B: I'm open.
[00:40:50] Speaker A: Team.
[00:40:51] Speaker C: Team.
[00:40:51] Speaker A: Pod Doing incredible so far to start off our second.
[00:40:57] Speaker B: I could never do Leo's job. I would never want to thank you.
[00:41:02] Speaker A: That's great. All right, it's gonna be back over to team Pod. This is another two parter.
Two players scored pentakills in summer split. Who were they?
[00:41:16] Speaker D: Only two.
[00:41:18] Speaker A: You get 0.5 points per nick.
[00:41:21] Speaker B: Wasn't it Yan and Masu?
[00:41:22] Speaker D: It was definitely quad.
[00:41:25] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:41:26] Speaker D: So quad definitely one of them.
[00:41:29] Speaker C: Oh, God.
[00:41:32] Speaker A: I thought.
[00:41:32] Speaker B: No, I think. I think it was. I think it was somebody on team Liquid.
[00:41:37] Speaker C: Was it apa?
[00:41:40] Speaker D: Do we just default to ap?
[00:41:41] Speaker B: Wait, no, I think it was. I think it was because I remember popping off one day when I was watching games because he got. I. I want to say it is. I'm not super sure, but I want to say it is.
[00:41:51] Speaker C: I think it's quad and apa.
[00:41:53] Speaker A: There we go.
[00:41:54] Speaker D: I'm down for it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:41:56] Speaker A: All right. Ding, ding, ding. That is correct. Quad and APA are the two that got Leo.
[00:42:02] Speaker D: Would you have gotten that one?
[00:42:04] Speaker E: Quad was the obvious one. And I probably would have landed on APA as well.
[00:42:07] Speaker A: Nice. All right, well, as of right now, it is four points to two. Team pod in the lead, but it's back over to Leo. Leo, you got to start getting some points here, man.
[00:42:17] Speaker E: Yeah, I told you. My memory is absolute dog water.
[00:42:22] Speaker C: Here we go.
[00:42:22] Speaker A: Maybe you'll get this one. Who is the only player with over 10cs per minute in summer split?
[00:42:34] Speaker E: Pretty. So pretty sure it's a mid laner.
[00:42:36] Speaker A: It's crazy, by the way, that there's only one.
[00:42:39] Speaker E: I mean, it's pretty. It's. It can be pretty hard.
[00:42:42] Speaker C: Yes. The minute it's kind of hard.
[00:42:43] Speaker A: Yeah. And it was lane swap meta too.
[00:42:46] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:58] Speaker E: I remember quad having some nasty CS games, but I don't think it was quite.
You know, I'll throw out Tomo because he had fewer games, so.
[00:43:08] Speaker A: Oh, my God. Ding, ding, ding.
Yes.
[00:43:14] Speaker E: So you don't have to keep up that 10c US per minute as often.
[00:43:18] Speaker A: As even in the losses, he was still csing pretty well. Like, laning phase was going pretty well for them and he was able to just catch waves like that was kind of the strat for 100 thieves was just like let Tomo farm and then played to jungle mid for a lot of the games. So, yeah, Tomo only one. There we go. That's another point to Leo. Look at that. Congratulations. It's now three to four for the last question of this category. Back over to team podcast.
All right. Within two minutes. Accuracy. How long was the longest game in summer and which teams played in it? You got to get both.
[00:43:57] Speaker C: It's reach.
Wait, I know this one because I called this the shittiest game that I've Ever watched in my entire life.
[00:44:05] Speaker D: Yes.
[00:44:06] Speaker A: Yeah, I know this one.
[00:44:07] Speaker C: Wait, do you want how many minutes.
[00:44:09] Speaker A: It is within two minutes of accuracy?
[00:44:11] Speaker C: It's like, like 53 minutes. And it was the NRG Shopify game where nobody wanted to fucking win the game.
[00:44:19] Speaker A: Ding, ding, ding. That is correct. I'm just gonna give it to you. It was 54:10. That's within the two minutes. Yes, it was Energy Shopify. Oh, my God.
[00:44:28] Speaker C: I wanted to actually just claw my eyes out watching it, like, genuinely. It was the worst display of League of Legends I've seen on the professional stage. I just want to point out B.
[00:44:39] Speaker D: Boy in that game wanted to play the game.
[00:44:43] Speaker C: B Boy wanted to win so bad. Nobody remember this game because there was nine people in that game that didn't want to win, and there was one that did. And for some reason his team was like, nah, nah.
[00:44:53] Speaker A: That one, I think that was up there with Renegades dignitas like that.
[00:44:58] Speaker C: They, like, died a herald second to Renegade, stigmatized.
[00:45:03] Speaker A: It's up there if we're making an all time list.
Speaking of. That's the next category. And also shout out to Team Pod. But before going live for the episode, both RMC and Badger were saying that they were not confident at all. But look at this. You guys are doing great with the help of Nazelle behind you. So I believe this one's going back to Leo, though, to start us off here. This is the last category. There's only five questions left. This one is all time stats. Leo, are you ready?
[00:45:32] Speaker E: No, but go ahead.
[00:45:33] Speaker A: Okay.
Bjergsen is obviously the all time MVP holder with four titles.
Who are the players tied for second and how many MVPs do they have?
[00:45:51] Speaker C: Oh, is it.
[00:45:53] Speaker E: How many players are there?
[00:45:55] Speaker A: There are two, and it's 0.5.
[00:45:56] Speaker E: Okay.
I thought there was gonna be like three or four, and you had to get all of them.
[00:46:01] Speaker A: No, no.
[00:46:04] Speaker E: God.
So you probably. The way I'm thinking about it is who's been in the league longest?
So Doublelift and Impact could be up there.
Who's popped off in their tenure a lot. I mean, Berserker was pretty good, but I think you pretty sure he only got one.
God.
[00:46:36] Speaker A: All right, I'm gonna give you 10 seconds.
[00:46:37] Speaker E: Did you. Did you say how many they had or you just said they're.
[00:46:41] Speaker A: You have to say how many they had?
[00:46:42] Speaker E: I have to say how many they had? What? Yeah, I'll go. I'll go.
I'm gonna say it's two MVPs.
Is the this figure I'll go Blabber and I'll go double lift.
[00:46:59] Speaker A: That is correct on the number, incorrect on the player. So I'm going to give you five or five for that. And if there's going to be a chance then for a steal for the other 0.5. Can you name the players? Team pod.
[00:47:15] Speaker D: Oh, so can you repeat the question?
[00:47:17] Speaker A: I.
Bjergsen is all time MVP holder with four titles. But who are the players tied for second and how many MVPs do they have? Leo got it correct that they have two.
[00:47:27] Speaker E: Oh, I know this.
[00:47:29] Speaker A: Who are the players tied for second for mvp?
Five.
[00:47:40] Speaker B: Oh, that's tough. Three.
[00:47:42] Speaker E: Can I get them all again?
[00:47:44] Speaker A: One.
[00:47:45] Speaker C: And Core, JJJ and Blabber.
[00:47:47] Speaker A: I thought I'm gonna say that's the two because that's the only one that you listed. And that is correct. It is Corey, JJ and Blabber.
I mean, that's why Blabber's in that conversation. Right? Like he's the next generation. Go.
[00:48:02] Speaker C: It's funny because you said berserker doesn't have enough. And I was thinking, no, Berserker has two. Like. And then I realized one was a Finals mvp. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm like, wait, what is like rattling them off like thinking like MVPs and I'm like, wait, I feel like there was a berserker there and it was the finals.
[00:48:21] Speaker A: Yeah. But I mean, shout out to Blabber. He's just done incredible so far in. In his career. Still kind of a long career. 2016, 2017, kind of when he's coming into the scene, but still got more ahead of him. So yeah, double. It's only got one actually. I don't even know if Doublelift has won an mv.
[00:48:37] Speaker D: That's crazy.
[00:48:38] Speaker E: He definitely has one.
[00:48:40] Speaker A: He won on Team Liquid that first or maybe the second split that they had like the super team game. The back to back to back to back to back stuff.
[00:48:50] Speaker D: Anyway, double test the most like championships right in the ocs and he's. He's got one.
[00:48:57] Speaker A: Has he passed Bjergsen? They might be. I don't know if he's past Bjergsen.
[00:49:02] Speaker C: I take it that's not one of the questions coming.
[00:49:04] Speaker A: That's not gonna be one of the questions.
[00:49:07] Speaker E: Doublelift has eight and Bjerg has six and so does Impact.
[00:49:11] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Okay. Damn. Wow, he really has baby. Yeah. Because he's on that team liqu roster. Plus the clg. Both rosters that were able to win back to back. So. Okay, cool. Here we go. Next question. This one is over to Team Pod.
Who are the two players tied for the number of appearances on first team All Pro?
So this means that they have made All Pro the most amount of times, but they're tied for. It can be any position.
[00:49:48] Speaker B: Oh my God.
[00:49:48] Speaker C: I feel like one of them has to be Impact.
I. I just can't think of anybody who's. Yeah, I can't Appearances on that list.
[00:50:00] Speaker D: I agree. And that makes me think B would be Erickson.
[00:50:04] Speaker C: Be the Jergerson. It's it. I feel like those are the two that like. Because we've had 80s come in and dethrone Double Lift. Blabber is not. Blabber's had competition with like xmithy and stuff. Like it's got to be. It's got to be Impact in Bjerg. If I had to take a guess.
[00:50:24] Speaker A: Is that the final answer?
[00:50:25] Speaker B: I'll go with it.
[00:50:26] Speaker D: Yeah, I'm done with that.
[00:50:28] Speaker A: That is incorrect.
[00:50:30] Speaker C: Really?
[00:50:31] Speaker A: Over to Leo. Who are the two players tied for the number of appearances on first team All Pro?
[00:50:37] Speaker E: Blabber and Core jj.
[00:50:39] Speaker A: Ding, ding, ding. That is correct. First team.
[00:50:42] Speaker C: First team.
[00:50:44] Speaker A: Impact has been on like every single list, but he doesn't get first team that often. He's. He's usually second or third.
And Bjergsen is I believe third place. He's up there, but he. He didn't get first team.
[00:50:56] Speaker C: Wait, so how many do Blabber and Core have?
[00:50:58] Speaker A: Seven. Seven appearances. First team all four. And this is the craziest thing for Blabber.
All seven are within a five year span. So that means that he's only missed three times in that span. How nuts is that?
[00:51:13] Speaker E: It's disgusting.
[00:51:15] Speaker A: It's disgusting. Like Blabber has been just running the league. Core JJ is a little more spread out, but still they're both at 7. Bjergsum was like 5 or 6 A.D.
[00:51:25] Speaker C: He got one then got it.
[00:51:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:51:32] Speaker C: No, he didn't.
[00:51:33] Speaker A: Yeah.
Okay. Well, anyway, that is a point to Leo. Congratulations, Leo. You succeeded on the steal. And it is over to you as well here. How many questions do we have left? There's only two. Only two questions left. And there's one point differential. Leo's one point behind Leo. If you get this, you tie it up. Only one time in history has a single teams roster claimed all first pro nominations. What team was it in which split?.5 for each.
[00:52:04] Speaker E: Oh, I know this.
It was the.
Pretty sure this was Covid era. But I could be wrong. But Cloud 9 bring 20.
[00:52:15] Speaker A: 20 ding, ding, ding. That is correct. Cloud 9 spring 2020. The only time in history in NA that a team has one roster has gotten all players. First team, all pro. Very impressive. I think it's happened in Europe a couple of times. Yeah.
[00:52:29] Speaker E: They also got MVP and coaching staff. But tactical was MVP or rookie of the split that year.
[00:52:37] Speaker A: Ah, that's funny. Well, yeah. Shout outs to that iteration of C9. That was with Sven AD Carry. They were crazy.
[00:52:48] Speaker C: Yeah, that was the perks mid lineup.
[00:52:51] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Okay, it is everybody. It is literally 5.5 to 5.5 Leo and Team Pod. But there's only one question left and it's over to Pod for the final question.
[00:53:07] Speaker C: No pressure.
[00:53:08] Speaker A: Stats down. Leo versus the Pod episode. Who is the record holder for coaching staff awards?
[00:53:16] Speaker C: Oh, you.
[00:53:17] Speaker E: Oh, that's horrible question. Oh my.
[00:53:21] Speaker C: What is wrong with you?
[00:53:22] Speaker D: What is a coaching staff award?
[00:53:24] Speaker A: It means that you asked.
Well, fine.
[00:53:30] Speaker D: Just joking about.
[00:53:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:34] Speaker A: It used to be a coach award. They changed it to coaching staff award. I am still considering it a person. So if they were a person on the coaching staff that won the award, then it counts as them winning another one.
[00:53:48] Speaker C: Oh my gosh.
[00:53:50] Speaker A: So which coach has the most awards for coaching staff?
[00:53:55] Speaker C: Oh my God. It's.
[00:53:57] Speaker E: Oh, so it's person not team.
[00:53:59] Speaker A: Team person not team. Yes.
[00:54:01] Speaker E: Oh my God.
[00:54:02] Speaker D: My first. The first name that comes to my.
[00:54:04] Speaker A: Team person, not you. They can move around and win on multiple teams, right?
[00:54:09] Speaker B: Is it missing?
[00:54:12] Speaker D: The first guy came to my mind was Reapered.
[00:54:14] Speaker C: But that's the first one that came to my mind was rain over.
This is bad, boys. This is bad that we got 30 reaper does sound like a really good answer.
[00:54:28] Speaker B: It does, but I'm not confident he's been on enough different teams and enough like time.
[00:54:38] Speaker C: What if it's like not a head coach and it's like an assistant coach? Like I think like Dodo has been with Team Liquid for this entire fucking time.
Is it? Is it?
[00:54:50] Speaker A: I'll tell you now. It's only head coach. I'm only.
[00:54:52] Speaker C: It's only head coach. Okay. Okay, so it's got to be reaper then because TLs gone through coaches like.
[00:54:59] Speaker B: It couldn't be right. He's. He's only won it within.
[00:55:03] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:55:03] Speaker D: His is the cog.
[00:55:04] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
Steve, I swear.
[00:55:14] Speaker A: All right, we're give you five seconds. Five.
[00:55:17] Speaker C: I. I think. I think we were going. Are we good with Reaper voice?
[00:55:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm good.
[00:55:21] Speaker D: Anyone else right now?
[00:55:22] Speaker C: Reaper.
[00:55:23] Speaker A: All right, so to determine the winner, if POD wins, they have to get this right in order to take it. If they get this wrong, then it could be a tie. Or Leo has a chance to steal and win and just embarrass the three brains from the pod that have come together. Your answer for who is the record holder for coaching staff awards is reapered.
Ding, ding, ding. That is correct.
Four total wins.
[00:55:48] Speaker D: Literally the second after we locked in, my brain went, could it be.
[00:55:55] Speaker A: A second Leo? Would you have gotten that, do you think?
[00:56:01] Speaker E: I knew it was reapered immediately.
[00:56:03] Speaker A: You knew it was reapered immediately.
[00:56:04] Speaker D: Oh, that's so sad.
[00:56:07] Speaker C: Get r.
God. Just like, what a stupid question.
[00:56:13] Speaker E: Well, hang on, hang on, hang on. You know what? I. I have a. I have a complaint. Okay.
[00:56:19] Speaker A: In the.
[00:56:19] Speaker E: In the. In the mv, what was the MVP question? I got the number and one of the players correct. I should have 0.66 points for that question and Todd should have 0.33 points. This is an absolute sham.
[00:56:35] Speaker A: I'll take it. I'll. I'll give it to you because they still win. It doesn't matter.
[00:56:39] Speaker C: Yes. Tell us which player was right out of it. So we still had to take a guess as to the what the other answer was.
[00:56:47] Speaker A: So. So here we go. Here we go. We have Leo at 5.666 repeating, of course, and then Pod at 6.333 repeating. That's what we're going to end on there.
Congratulations to team POD for taking stats down. Three brains from a fan centric podcast are greater than one professional whose literal job is to manage these stats and make sure that they are correct for broadcast. Should we be concerned as a region.
[00:57:17] Speaker C: I totally forgot playoffs, like, as a whole, I. You started asking questions about playoffs and I'm just like, yeah, we were not even know like who was on what team. I was getting quad and quid mixed up. I'm like. I'm like, what the. What am I doing?
[00:57:33] Speaker D: Do you have the points breakdown? Because if I recall correctly, we did worst on the playoffs, which was the closest, but then we did better on the full summer and we did best on all time. So we ironically got better the longer the time frame.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:57:47] Speaker E: So.
[00:57:48] Speaker A: So it was 1 to 2 coming out of playoffs, Leo ahead and it was 3 to 2 coming out of summer long. Leo did not get a point.
And then Leo did get three points in all time, I'm pretty sure. But then y'all still were able to catch the others. And also there were a couple actually in the. In the summer long, there were a couple of point five steel seals or I think there was 1.5 seal where you guys got half of them.
I don't remember exactly what it was. I'm only keeping track of the total.
[00:58:16] Speaker B: Score, so I just want to say you're a goat. Thank you so much for doing this. This was super fun.
[00:58:22] Speaker D: Three of us to match one of you.
[00:58:25] Speaker E: It is what it is.
[00:58:26] Speaker A: It is what it is.
[00:58:28] Speaker E: Absolute garbage.
[00:58:29] Speaker A: Do you have any words, though, either of defense or of encouragement for the pod members?
[00:58:35] Speaker E: Well, I mean, I may have gotten gotten embarrassed today, but it'll be nothing in comparison to how embarrassed you'll feel after Friday's Caster Clash.
[00:58:45] Speaker A: Okay? Joke starting at 4pm jokes on you. If you do your job, we're never even gonna see each other because we're up. I'm up against team coach. We're gonna get crushed. And then if you're gonna lose.
[00:58:58] Speaker E: Coaches are complete frauds. That's why that last question was garbage, because they're just.
[00:59:06] Speaker A: I love it. Any. Any showboating, any gloating that Team Pod would like to give before we close out here?
[00:59:21] Speaker D: I'm just gonna show myself with ML LTA North. You know, Mozelle just beat your stats guy. You know, maybe LTA South. LTA certified. I just beat LTA north, and I don't even watch that region as much as I watch your.
[00:59:34] Speaker A: And so we had a guy who cast CB Lowell, a guy who only watches LCK and can't even explain what's going on in the region, and then a guy who cast LPL professionally, and they were all able to do it. So I think. Go, go, Na.
[00:59:49] Speaker B: The future is. The future is bright.
[00:59:52] Speaker A: Right?
Thank you so much. Let us know. By the way, everybody listening along, how many boys did you get? If you're keeping track Tech, of course, we do have a community discord, so if you haven't already joined, there's a link in the description. Wherever you are listening to the podcast, let us know. Did you beat Team pod? Did you beat Leo? Did you have. Or would you have had the most points?
I guess if you're answering all of them, you could just get all the points. I'll allow it. You know, whatever. We're just kind of making up the rules as we go. But most importantly, thank you for tuning in, everybody.
Rmc, if there were a number of stars that you think a listener should give this podcast, how many would you say? How many stars just off the top of the head?
[01:00:33] Speaker D: I'd say, you know what? Give three stars out of one.
[01:00:38] Speaker A: Three out of one. I don't that's a terrible grading system.
[01:00:42] Speaker C: I would say 6.33 for the amount of points that Team Pod scored. But that's physically impossible apparently.
[01:00:49] Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna say one set for each of us, but okay, that works.
[01:00:53] Speaker A: Okay, it's a scale of five, so if you. If you really didn't enjoy it. Sure, three, I guess, to be honest. But a full five stars does help us get recognized wherever you are listening.
[01:01:05] Speaker D: Hey guys. So scale it up out of five. 15 stars.
[01:01:09] Speaker A: There we go. Perfect for you. Saved it right at the end. Thank you to my amazing hosts and guest hosts for coming on for this episode. Thank you Leo for coming on and providing us some great off season entertainment. Leo, where can the viewers find you on socials or if they want to follow any of your work in the.
[01:01:26] Speaker E: Future, watch LTA north starting in I don't remember because I told you my memory is absolute trash. But I think it's sometime in January 25th, I think.
[01:01:36] Speaker A: Okay, maybe it's public.
Either way, love the shill.
[01:01:41] Speaker E: Keep okay nicely of the chosen on Twitter and I think also on Blue sky, it might just be Leo the chosen on Blue Sky. I gotta sync up my name games.
[01:01:53] Speaker A: You did.
[01:01:54] Speaker E: And yeah, it's been fun.
[01:01:56] Speaker A: Any hot sauce challenges in your future?
[01:01:59] Speaker E: I almost considered betting a hot sauce on this game and I'm so glad I did not.
Oh, that would have been horrible.
[01:02:08] Speaker A: Notably, you and Badger are the two people on this pod that I. I do bets with. So that actually would have been a good time because then the two of.
[01:02:14] Speaker C: You could one but the Immortals shoot the Never forget the Immortals. Chewy.
[01:02:18] Speaker A: Oh God. All right. Right rfc. Also guests on the pod. Where can people find you if they want to check out more of your work in Sportia?
[01:02:26] Speaker D: You can find me on Twitter @random McOster. I'm technically on Bluesky at random Indian Caster, though I'm going to be honest, I'm not really using it that much right now. Hopefully you'll find me on whatever the CV LOL English equivalent is next year. We still haven't quite figured out if we're changing our name or we're even broadcasting. But if we are, you'll find me there next year as well. And yeah, I'll continue being around tier 2 tier 3 scene as well. Watching. I'll pop up on random podcasts.
[01:02:51] Speaker A: So yeah, perfect. Well, thank you both for coming on. Thank you listeners for sticking with us for another episode. It's been a long off season but we're hoping to bring you more and more entertainment, more and more content throughout, regardless. So thanks for sticking with us. Most importantly, though, remember, we love you and we'll see you next time.
[01:03:10] Speaker C: Bye, everyone.
[01:03:11] Speaker B: Goodbye.
[01:03:12] Speaker C: Bye.
